Awesome episode!! I know you don't make a living or want to make a living from your Podcast Mike (because your heart is with the badass dogs), but I really wanted to say that you deliver incredible content and we want more! That being said, live your life the way you want and frankly we are so fortunate with the content you already provided us here on your Podcast. God Bless you and thank you for your service!!!! And Bill Rapier is one of a kind, a true American hero. He is literally the best role model for young men trying to find their way. Serve your country and serve God. Brilliant brilliant interview as always. Late to the game here. Digging around to find an episode of Mike Drop I haven't seen. Found this one ❤
Always so much to unpack. Yet, like a warm blanket where things make sense again. As an aside, regarding the police dog. We have just concluded a situation here on Vancouver Island, where a known criminal has been in a police conflict, the dog was sent, the perp stabbed the dog over and over. The perp was eventually shot. The officer was investigated..took 2 years to conclude. Officer finally cleared. Public outrage continued. I'm devastated about how we have arrived at this point in our current history. I am so thankful for men and podcasts like these that remind me, there is still a contingency of critical thinking and right thinking.

I hope alot more kids grow up like Bill did, growing up in a few different cultures really gives you an appreciation for other people instead of all the stigma's that get put out there.

By the way, what's cool about Simo Häyhä (the Finnish sniper) is that he did those 500 kills with no scope on his weapon. True legend.

Hey Mike. And Bill. Check out the Holosun 507 with the Vulcan ACSS reticle. I have affiliation but it's a red chevron you can use as a range finder approximately. But also has a large outer thin red ring so for anytime you can't find the chevron that circle gives immediate feedback so you which way to adjust. Between the battery life and the motion detection you can leave it on forever and it'll turn off at rest. And back on the moment you pick it up or slightest movement. Practically lasts forever.
