Hey man this is probably my first comment ever on UA-cam. I want to say this was legit the most honest and helpful video I’ve watched. I appreciate it.
@@RodrigoTasca Sounds silly but I've worked for free, just for free. You added the referral thing + review. I find that very important. You also gave me a new perspective about the client lifetime. Now I'll look for businesses that have this (You already gave some examples of businesses with that). Other little but not less important things are; Quickbooks, a little bit of psychology to close deals and a great detail that is to give to the lead the direct link of the portfolio section in the webpage. I already know the benefits that you can take from working for free (Improving skills, Networking), but for sure I'll appreciate more now. You remark a lot the importance of networking and getting clients of it but, do you have a video about getting cold door clients? (I hope it's said like that in english). Btw I'm the same guy, I commented before with my secondary account.
Just had to say that I loved the level-headed, honest approach you took in making this video. Sometimes UA-cam videos in this genre are so loud and flashy that I get a headache and come away with little information. This was the opposite, and I appreciate it very much. I'm considering the possibility of starting a video production company myself, and this was full of useful, relatable info. Thank you.
This is so honest, insightful and helpful, I’m looking to start my own business and the business portion is something that is integral but a lot of ppl don’t delve deep into as you have so well! Thank you so much, I’ve subscribed and can’t wait to go through all your content 😊
Thank you for your sincerity. I am a video production student and just started my own production business in WV. I haven't gotten any clients but I am doing just like you did by doing free videos for people first, Just to get the experience. You have given me hope. Thanks
Thank you for the insights🙏🏾 really encouraging. I’m struggling to keep going feeling discouraged as the money is running low but I know this is what I want to do and this helps me to hear someone else’s journey in making it all work . Thank you again🙏🏾
Bro this is the first open and honest video on how to get started I’ve seen since I’ve started doing video and photos. Thank you so much! Definitely subscribing!!!!!!
Coming across this video a year later has been the best timing. I'm in the process of doing exactly this kind of work and after hearing how you started just reinforced my thought process in starting. After a lot of time on UA-cam, this video by far has been the most valuable and I thank you for that.
@@RodrigoTasca I'm currently about to shoot my first watch store promo. Is there any tips you can recommend? I've been browsing your channel but maybe I missed something. Thank you!
Awesome video. First of all, congrats for your success ! New sub here, from Miami and this video is just what I needed to hear since I'm starting my video production company right now. Thank you
You're one of two people here on UA-cam that give filmmakers real advice to grow and make video production a living. A lot of the bigger filmmakers on UA-cam never talk about the business side. PLEASE keep it up! Just found your channel and I'm subscribed!

@@RodrigoTasca I wanted to ask you brother, do you recommend using your name for a production company (Rodrigo Tasca Studios) or do businesses see that as unprofessional? I remember you saying that no one wanted to listened to you until your business name changed to Tasca Studios.
@@tonycerv Great questions, if it was me I would not use my own name (First or Last) in the company name if I had to do it again. This allows your company to seem bigger along if you ever start subcontract people for shoots or sell your business your name is not attached to it.
