Wow this helped so much! Especially the tip about having automated proposals! And i now have a more clear mind about the 3 things i should list as my main expertise areas
From the deepest place thank you for this video. Not only did I lean a ton about what I came here for but also a ton about some I didn’t even consider yet. We are still nascent him being a free lancer and I being in Digital cinematography bachelors program. Again thank you!
Thank you for some real information! I live just north of Austin Texas and you have some very good realistic pointers! I have been in the video business for the last 20 years and I can tell you from experience what you are saying is right on. You have brought out some new things that I will also try. Thanks again for your post! And I am subscribing.
Wahooooo! Welcome to the team. Hope you've continued to get great value from this. If you have any topics or questions you'd like to see more of, let me know!
Although this video is super helpful and only has a couple thousand views, I'm glad it isn't getting the views it deserves because it means I can use this to get ahead! But I wish major success for the video after I implement everything in it :)
Love it! You've got this 👏 most videographers aren't savvy enough to research it so you're good to go! If you get stuck implementing any of it, I do coaching calls every Friday 😎 www.amandahorvath.com/coaching
Hi Amanda! your video is of extremely high value! I love how generous you are to share so many tips to the videography community. I got a question though, you mention about the Price point for Small Biz / Entrepreneur was about 10k to 15K, is this a per-project price or monthly revenue? Because I think you mentioned in another video about getting higher budget clients and use the range 1000 to 1500 as reference per project. Mind clarifying a bit? Thanks!
Thank you for sharing all these information. Videography has always been a hobby for me that I practice with passion, I am hoping to be able to turn it into a job that fits along with my tour guiding service in Morocco. Thanks again for sharing knowledge! 🇲🇦🙏
It's all done through email automation! I use activecampaign for that. I do weekly coaching calls if you want to chat through it in detail: www.amandahorvath.com/coaching
@9:30 like when we offer productized offers, what do ou do when those clients see it and say they wanna meet and want us to come over to their office. Imagine doing this for 90% Tyre Kickers.
Sorry for the MASSIVE delay in getting back to you! How's this been going for you?? You just have to whip the tire kickers in shape with some tough love ✨💕💪 it takes a lot of pre production to ensure they're ready to film and really holding their hand through out the process.
@@AmandaHorvath HI Amanda, Thanks for writing. In my country clients have a very miserly mentality. They almost want it free or they dont even want to interact, LOL. They openly ask if your calling to do this free or its chargeable !!! On a side note do you edit your 4K footage on an NVMe drive ? Is it smoother for timeline performance when editing from an NVMe ?
@@AmandaHorvath I would love any videos centered around marketing your UA-cam channel. Especially because I am in a somewhat similar space with video production business content!
This was amazing and I loved all these tips, thank you so much. I just have a language barrier and wanted to understand more of the concept around agency work and where to find agency work. Example would be do i need to email a local resturant and hope they call me often for footage or do i need to look into videography agency as a whole. Its just a bit overwhelming but I would love your time and effort to eleborate through here or even a video, god bless :)
I would definitely recommend approaching it as the overall marketing strategy for the agency rather than individual clients. Be a magnet to clients rather than going out and finding them. It's inbound vs. Outbound marketing
Nice job, this is good stuff. I will definitely be looking into promoting my business through Yelp. Can you recommend any more to someone like myself that has built a self sustaining video business to one that breaks through to the next level?
Brand videos, FB ad videos, testimonials, internal on boarding videos, social content, you name it, I likely did it. Specifically doc style with interviews + b-roll. Check out Amanda Horvath on Vimeo for tons of examples.
From one videographer to another, awesome video. I will use these tips for my own business and I appreciate you giving me these cool secrets haha. I haven't checked out your latest videos but when you're explaining something you don't actually have to use the rule of thirds, especially if you're an "authority" in the shot. Like now, you're explaining something, putting yourself directly in the middle of the screen would work way better and wouldn't be so off putting. Just wanted to give some feedback and thank you for your content!
I appreciate that! I do the rule of thirds so I can occasionally add text to the shot. I'll occasionally pop in the middle of the frame though. Also depends on what background I'm working with! My camera / lens combo doesn't have a ton of boquete so it looks less distracting with sitting on the side.
@@AmandaHorvath I see. I do the same thing in my videos occasionally. Here I am trying to be cool and then I don't look into it enough haha. No but seriously thanks for the video keep creating great content!
What tip are you going to implement to increase your leads?
You give us result. Learned everything from you and still learning .
Thanks for all the tips 👍❤👍
Signing up for Yelp and going to focus on small biz and Entrepreneurs. Thank you for such a great, informative video.
Amanda, do you know where I can find a template for screening clients?
You're a hidden gem! I love your personality & down to earth nature. Keep these awesome videos coming! Dr. Liz
I'm a freelance videographer, been on the journey for about 4 years now. Grateful to find a lady's perspective. Subbed.
Love your video. Straight to the point. No fluff.

Good video. You were able to auto email customers who’s budgets were too low via Celendly or some other app? I didn’t catch that part sorry.
You just earned yourself a new subscriber that is about to go binge watch your channel💯👍
