We wanted a test bump from that box you rattled together in a hour.... didn’t even go near one kitchen
For Your consideration. When spreading the PL adhesive. Take a tip from tile contractors, scrape it with a rake trowel after spreading the adhesive.... reason being without the rake pattern on the adhesive you're potentially traping air pockets/ bubbles. The rake pattern provides channels for air to escape and adhesive to move into. Also Mark from fab kitchen is way behind.... he doesn't even have a van! Love the channel.

Well, he has been a bit of a shitshow since the start of the build. He got a van that couldn't fit in his garage, he got slag in his eye, got over spray all over his new van, etc. Give the kid a break lol I'm really surprised all of that efoam didn't make the sides of his van all wavey 😬😬

The comedy on this is gold. Few videos have actually made me laugh out loud. Your a legend.
Build a helper with some 2x4’s to hold the boards up to the ceiling. Lag bolts with wing nuts and a channel in the middle of the 2x4 so you can adjust it to any angle or lenF. Make a cross for the feet for stability.

I still get a kick when I see him NOT staggering the joints on those three layers. I remember being an IASCA install judge. Our mantra - Intent and execution. Soundman has great intentions but not-so-good execution.
Walmart has great box for that pioneer speaker plus the speaker is centered on the box.

Maybe the next project should be a coach. Take the seats out and have an amp rack in the luggage department below. Have a walk way in the centre full with subs and kitted out. Haven’t seen someone do a coach yet?

This is the best build. The dedication and strength . You get my vote!
Doug, you're right that EXO's spray foam is trash. But the 2 component mix and pour foam is a whole a different animal. Even the lowest density is super rigid. The flexing of your boards and sheet metal individually is gonna eat a lot more dB's than if you bond them together with a rigid layer. And it's not too late. You just drill holes and pour. EXO was wrong for thinking he needed spray foam at the top of his walls before adding pour foam, because that shit expands. All he needed was a few air bleeds at the top.
U clearly have been in the 12 volt game long time .. Quick idea when working above your head ..make a T board u can kick in place to help hold above head . old man that taught me called it a neighbor.

I'd seriously look into stronger suspension, tougher tires. MPG is going to suck.
Have you made any progress on the "under hood" section? Are you running
only two alternators? One must be dedicated only for the engine; ECM's
don't work very well with brown outs on every bass note. Do you plan
on using caps?
I'd like to see some updates on those parts of the build, too.

I used one of those pioneer woofers to replace the factory woofer in my rear deck. *shrug* it was better than factory...
