Today my son and I fix up his Camry and change the oil in my 2018 Subaru STI Type RA. In the last Camry video we used Bar's Leak head gasket repair when we suspected a leak in the head gasket. It seems to have worked!!!
Today we are replacing a faulty thermostat, flushing the Bar's Leak out of the coolant system and installing a high performance K&N air filter. Then I replace the oil in my Subaru with Mobile 1 synthetic.

When I was 16 I rebuilt the straight 6 from my ‘82 Toyota Cressida, bottom and top end, my dad who was a career machinist, welder and large diesel mechanic was of course going to “walk me through it”. That consisted of him making me cut the grass an extra time that month to pay for the Hanes manual he bought me and while I sweat to death in the 107 degree Alabama heat he would yell “Are you stupid!?” about every 2-3 minutes. Those were beautiful times.
The filter scene deserves a double thumbs up.

When i use to work under my mustang i made 2"x12" ramps. The ramps had about 18"L step ups till it was about 10" high with a 2"x4" lip at the end of the top level so I didn't drive off the end.

The reason that filer is oiled is because every 5,000 miles or so? Maybe 10,000 miles? You take it out and clean it. Then use a spray from K&N and it will help out the filter. At least that is what I am told. That K&N filter is designed to last over 100,000 miles from removing it from the package. I know im not 100% accurate, so I would look it up to find the specifics. Hopefully this comment might help you out in the future.

Use a 1/2 rac. Use the largest one for oil filter .oil pan .inspect the drain plug.inspect oil pan where plug goes in

OEM filters are considered best.
You might want to change that radiator. I had a IS300, an my radiator was brown like that, an the whole top blew off while I was driving, due to old plastic.

Oh btw doug look into Motul oil for the STI my cousin just changed to it cause the other oils seem to burn a lot quicker. Oh and if you want a better oil filter get this one. (N3R1-14-302) it's basically the japanese oil filter subaru uses over there.
