Some pretty crazy prices but the selection/availability is really good. I spotted more than a few no colorant non chill filtered Scotches, additive free tequilas and some decent mid tier bourbons. Just wish I had a store like that to shop at here in Minnesota. I finally got a Darroze 20 year Armagnac that I was on the waiting list for nearly half a year. Yet down in Chicago, Armagnac can be found just sitting on shelves in a lot of stores. We don't get much for store picks here either. Liquor desert essentially.
This store seems like a typical museum liquor store. People love to hate on this type of stores generally because of their outraged high markups but I love going to em just to see the history of the liquor business. Kinda surprised to see that there are no old BTEC bottles or even a bottle of coy hill
It's because the guys with the 7 figure incomes in CA roll in and purchase them all in one trip. They do this just to show that they have them, they'll even drink them then return in six months to buy more. I guess nothing wrong with that other than the fact that you and I can't shop there for the more unique bottles. Prices were too high for even their mid-level stuff. Keep on huntin'!
$99.99 for Eagle Rare 🤣
@@robert9226 the new owner is working on prices stay tuned 👍
There’s a reason why they have those bottles and a new owner!!
The JJBowman you pulled out is the newest version… the front one was the original.
@@mattthomas291 thank you for setting me straight 👍
Great museum. Too bad they don't want to sell their bottles, have some good ones.
@@75rbhill the new owner is going through all the prices so bottles will be moving 👍
So hard to see prices with the camera moving so fast. Cool to see so many bottles but a few prices I see I personally wouldn’t shop there.
