- I really, really hate the cold! Which exactly why I wanted to challenge myself to see if I could overcome my fear of the cold by doing the Wim Hof method...in the middle of winter 🥶

@@AaronBarnesYT I always used to do it back in the day when playing football. Was always told it helps with recovery. Since then I’ve done a lot more research and follow Wim Hoffs method and pair it with breathing. Are you continuing with it?
Niiice one! Yeh seems to be so many benefits to the method! Yeh sure am, still maintaining cold showers, but paused on the ice baths for now. Once I start training for my next triathlon I’ll start them again

Yeh he’s an unbelievable human!! Yess absolutely would! Tried it once before and was heaps of fun! Have you ever done it?
No not really, I think the closest thing I’ve done was with my kids down a river in Bali, was fun more than thrilling. Is there somewhere in Australia you could do it ?

I’m the biggest wuss when it comes to the cold. Even jumping into the ocean in summer when the water temp is 21-23°! I have to ease my way in as opposed to the deep dive approach.

Only when on camera 😂😂😂 haha yeh don’t worry I was the same, definitely learnt that cold exposure is best when you do it gradually! The “rip the bandaid off” approach isn’t as effective in my opinion 😂 thanks though mate!
Great effort! I have been challenging myself to wake up at 6AM for the past 4 weeks and do some exercise or yoga and then I do the Wim Hof breathing technique followed by meditation. I think it's too cold for cold showers but as it warms up I am planning on resuming haha

@@AaronBarnesYT Yeah I actually started doing cold showers (finishing off with 2-3 minutes of cold) after I read Wim Hof's books last summer back at the end of 2020 haha

Yeh they are quite expensive! Was thinking of going on one, but lockdown stuffed the plans :// ah well, always next year!
