Hi, my name is Jen I am 44 and live in Connecticut with my husband and 8 year old son. I am a stay-at-home Mom and full-time UA-camr with a degree in business with a focus in marketing. I have dry skin with some hyperpigmentation and fine lines. I love natural makeup looks but occasionally go outside my comfort zone a little bit. If you are watching make up videos you are at high risk of spending money!!!! Lol. I have never bought so much make up since I discovered make up videos on UA-cam. Jen is very very honest, I have not caught her in a lie (regarding products of course) and I’ll be honest, I’ve caught most of the content creators not being truthful…ugh which sucks because then you know you can not trust their reviews. Jen is a genuine sweetheart. I’m 52, used to have oily skin until menopause hit and since my skin is definitely not as oily. I have purchased a few of Jen’s looks and have not been disappointed yet. She refreshed my love and passion for makeup and she has helped me update how I wear my makeup. Apparently I was still in the 2000’s! Lol

@LisaMarlene. Oh !! Lol. Me ,too ~! I used to have very oily skin & needed to apply my makeup within 5 minutes ( to start ) after washing my face !! Lol. Now ,I can wait for 10 minutes . Maybe even 15 minutes !? Like yourself ,menopause changed my skin of my face & body !! Nowadays ,I can wear liquid foundations with no issues !! Lol. I used to love foundations had clay in 'em,because they make it last on oily skin & clear the skin ,too ! Now ,it's too dry feel / look I dislike .💜🥁🐉🎤🎶💞

I finally tried Essence’s Pretty Natural foundation and was absolutely blown away how flawless it has made my mature skin look! I have finally found the perfect foundation! After trying so many drugstore foundations I was going to breakdown and start trying high end ones, so glad I have a super affordable option now💖

I've had issues with foundations being too shiny, so I decided to try the LA Girl promatte foundation to see if my dry skin could tolerate it. It really surprised me to find it wasn't drying and the finish is beautiful! It didn't sink into my pores and lines, doesn't transfer and makes the skin feel soft instead of tacky. And it was $7! Hidden gem. Totally agree with the Revlon foundation - I wear it almost every day.

I love Australian Gold tinted bb cream !! I love that brand ! I discovered 'em in 2003 ? Or '04 . They had one w/ o phenoxethanol back then ,sadly no longer. But,they are very very good brand !!

After seeing you talk about the revlon concealer a while back I tried the neutralizer shade for my blue dark circles under my eyes and I LOVE IT! It really does look smooth and stays gorgeous all day; and I only need a tiny bit. If I use too much it will crease but if I use a little it is gorgeous.
Ulta has a concealer - Full Coverage Liquid Concealer - that came out YEARS before the Natasha Denona concealer but they are very, very similar. Down the applicator - that kind of moveable, flower petal like applicator.
Both have the consistency is serum-like and high coverage.
The Denona concealer has more in it (ND: 7ml versus U: 4.8 ml) and it is very good, I like it as well, but for pple on a strict budget the Ulta version does a great job.

I've been wanting ND's Hi glam concealer but since its not in my local Sephora to color match, & not knowing which to chose online for that price I've held off for all these months. Thanks for the tip on Ulta's. Hope Jen does review it !

Btw, I mix half and half the L’Oréal true match with the EL double wear. Then I get the beautiful skin like finish, much less prep (for a dryer foundation)
And also more coverage and longer wear than the true match by itself.

Absolutely fantastic! This is a video I have needed. I have a very mixed complexion where it is super dry except for my nose. I also have some fine lines under my eyes and have been struggling with "hydrating" concealers. Thank you so much! (P.S. I look forward to your Vlogmas videos. I have dry skin too and I am so glad to watch this video Jen. I've enjoyed this video so much and I love Moira and have the powder foundation and it is great for me. I also like their eyeshadows and blushes too. I like some of the Juvia's Place products that I have also. I would never bet on your age Jen for I would lose the farm for sure. Jen when you have a chance try the L'oreal age perfect concealer in the skinny tube and the 4 in 1 face balm. Both look so smooth and the concealer covers and brightens. They both end up being a favorite for me.

The Hero sunscreen is one of my favorites! Its sooo nice, no greasy and the pigment is perfect for my skine tone. The glow is beautiful ❤
Love these wrap up videos. This year I, too, have developed a love for Korean sunscreen and Korean BB creams. I'm interested to try that concealer, because I believe that Maybelline did change the formula for the age rewind. I found it to be really thick and almost dry putting on.

I tried the ND concealer as an all over foundation today as I’ve seen her do and it really dried out my skin. So surprising. Didn’t see alcohol in the ingredients but it does have some fruit extracts and fragrance.
I love ND hyglam concealer. I saw someone use it all over the face as foundation and I tried that. Now let me tell you ladies...it's perfection for my 41 year old dry skin, specially this time of the year. I have been using it non stop. Beautiful formula. Rarely wear foundation these days. I really hope ND comes out with an actual foundation in same exact formula. Great video as usual Jen! 😊

I ordered the Revlon concealer and since I love to try Korean sunscreens, I added the Heimish and Hero ones to my wish list. I bought the Heimish BB cream during the black Friday sale and like to use it on days where I want easy/fast makeup. Looking forward to your other 2023 recommendations. Thanks.
Jen! You look very pretty in lavender😻 I am using Heimish art base- it’s 🥰 I wear it alone and am just using my powder by Koh Gen Do which has some illuminating but not overpowering glitter . I am going to get the Heimish Foundation which you just mentioned.

I'm 55 w/ combo oily T-zone , tan skin and I love the newly formulated L'Oréal True Match Blendable. It is light weight and alcohol free, perfect to everyday . Love your channel and appreciate that you list the actual product names in description. Some YTers only list link which is so very frustrating.

Hiya, darlin! Have you tried the Missha Signature Complete bb cream? I highly recommend it! It has slightly less coverage than the Perfect Cover but better ingredients, longer wear time for my dry skin and has a more radiant finish. Great video! Xo

I also tried the EL Double wear for the first time this year. I ❤it. I have oily skin and this keeps me non-oily and lasts all day. For a cheaper version I like Cover Girl + Olay Simply Ageless foundation.

I really like the Beauty of Joseon spf, too. When I reorder that one, I will also order Cosrx Aloe Soothing Sun cream and the Skin1004 spf. All three have that lovely smooth texture and don’t cause issues around my sensitive eyes. Thank you for these in depth reviews!

The Heimish Moringa Ceramide BB Cream has become one of my favorite foundations, I love the feel of it on my skin, the coverage is just right for me, and with my oily skin it lasts 6 hours before I even start to get shiny, which is pretty good for me. I also have been enjoying the ND Hy Glam concealer, the consistency isn't too heavy, it gives the right amount of coverage that I need, and it lasts the whole day on me.
I just retried the Maybelline skin tint again today (ironically). I am combo oily in my t zone.
You are right, initially this looked great but then quickly I realized no! I looked oily and dry in my t zone if that even makes sense.

I also use the Hero sunscreen and it works great.
I wear Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation everyday for almpst 3 months now. I love it. I mix it with a little primer and apply it with a sponge over my concealer. Stays put all day. No touch-ups required.
All of my favorite sunscreens are Korean. They know what they’re doing!! I love the Joseon sunscreen, but because I have combo oily skin I use it in the morning as my moisturizer/sunscreen combo. Later in the afternoon after my workout and shower I wear the Missha Soft sunscreen. It’s great for oily skin, but it still gives a slight healthy glow.
The PURITO clearing bb cream is my absolute favorite! I’m very similar in skin tone to you Jen and I use the shade 21, light beige. It’s so lovely on its own but I also mix a bit of it in when a foundation pulls a little too yellow on me.
My new tube emphasizes my pores. When they took out the SPF, they changed the formula too much for my skin. 😔
Nars light reflecting foundation, Clinique Even Better Foundation, Hourglass veil powder, Revolution Cream bronzer/ Nars Cream Bronzer plus the juvia's place powder and liquid blushes! Scinic Spf (k-beauty) and Cosrx Propolis Toner !
I freaking adore that Maybeline skin tint! But I have oily skin so I totally get why you don’t like it. But on me it looks incredible and mine no longer has a smell.
I haven’t found a perfect match true match either I mix two colors but it’s one of my faves from the drugstore
I am in my late forties with acne prone oily skin. The Beauty of Joseon sunscreen is also my holy grail. The fact that it works for different skin types speaks to what an exceptional formula it is!
This was terrific! I wish you had oily bits. I’m combo t-zone oily normal on the rest. I’m struggling to find an amazing foundation! Lots of trial and error!

Hi Jen, here is the sun screen I’ve been using, so good. Skin 1004 Hyaluronic -Cica water fit sun serum, another Korean sun screen 50++++. This is so thin disappears into your skin right away no smell at all, it’s great.
