Great video editing and not wasting time removing bolts and excess talking. You can tell you have a quality mechanic working for you. Thanks for the lesson
Great video.I've had a handful of P0011 codes where they would stall when hot and not restart until cooled down, cam actuator would not unlock due to low oil pressure when hot. When cooled down oil would thicken enough to unlock actuator.Every one had worn or spun cam bearings causing low oil pressure when hot.
I cannot put in words how thorough simple and quick your video was kudos to your mechanic he gave no b******* said straight up this is why you do it and this is how you do it and this is where you do it and this is why and how and where and everything was beautiful thank you I have subscribed and I will definitely recommend your videos to all my boys.... Fellas please keep up the good work!!!!
Greatest walkthrough vid Anyone will ever watch None of those scattered explainery communication Wish all technician video creators would pay attention on their English prospective like this dude does that's how you'll know a technician who knows what's he's doing and does his work exstremingly well....
Very informative! Good to know the torque values for the tensioner and the camshaft! Also about the valve bolt! Most informative on replacing the timing chain! And the bolt description and layout is awesome!
Well done. This was exactly the procedure I was looking for and even the exact vehicle (van instead of truck). I especially appreciate that the torque specs were called out during the video. Editing was excellent; I don't need to see you turn a wrench, even in fast forward, but the descriptions of how to handle the tricky ones was great.
Have an 07 yukon got p0011 have perfect oil pressure did 2 oil changes changed cam sensor cam phaser cam actuator and the small jumper harness that they connect to i still have the code. Before I changed it code came on pretty quick. Now it takes about 2 weeks before it comes on. All dealer parts and truck runs perfect
What happens when you jumped time do to the tensioner breaking inside and making it the line on top crank facing up and bottom crank mark facing the down in other words they are not lined up the timings marks and I already removed the chain and top crank but not lower did I mess up
I have a similar engine ls3, I did the electrics as you have in the video. We programmed the computer and turned off the "vats system". Unfortunately, the engine did not start. High voltage comes to the spark plugs, but no impulse comes to the injectors. Maybe you can advise me what could be the reason. Diagnostics shows me the error P0315. The sensor is working. Thank you very much in advance
Will my 2008 Express 3500 with 6.0 (K) look just like this? I am about to pull it apart to replace cam and lifters at 190,000 miles. Have ticking and misfire on #5 cylinder. Owned since new. I was thinking of not even replacing anything else unless I saw something bad after teardown. I dread dropping the oil pan on my back. If it wasn't for that, I think I would just buy new timing chain setup and new oil pump and pickup if ugly. It has no oil pressure problems showing.
what if you do oil pressure sensor screen oil pick up tube and rubber o ring on a 4 wheel drive what else could it be and gauge is working properly drops slowly as it runs cam journals bearings and is it worth replacing and yes its a fuel management motor has any one else ran into this issue if so please tell me or explain what in the heck is going on cause i refuse to take every thing apart and put it back together again
Greetings Have a question, I replace everything as you did with new parts from the dealer but still having the same code p0011 Any ideas? Thanks in advance
I’m stuck at 11:30. I can’t find this lock… can you tell me exactly? There thick oil everywhere but I been sticking my screw driver in everything and pulling down. I don’t see a lock

I can't believe you're putting a used oil pump in their going through all that not much more for new parts
Best install video I've seen yet. Impressed with this mechanic.

Great video the difference between this video verse others it’s explain which torque specs. A-plus for details in video.

Good video bro
How do I align my dots? Mine jumped a tooth and not sure how to get them dot to dot again? Trying to get tdc but then don’t line up
Gonna take a lot longer than 8 hours on a 14+. Lucky to get the oil pan off in that time.
Ah just drop the front axle a little man. ;)
Why remove the pan just need to remove the 4 front bolts
@@robertpal4294 not on ones with VVT. You cant get chain off without dropping pan.
I CANNOT get my cam to line up (the dowel) with the cam/phaser gear. Any advice?
Can the tensioner be replaced by just taking the cam gear off without removing the oil pump?

geat video subbed
Which way do you turn the crankshaft bolt to loosen it ? On a 2003 Dodge dakota slt v6 3.9
Today im replace timing chain
Part number for pulley puller ???
How many hours would this typically take for an experienced GM mechanic?
Nice bro.
Maestro.❤😊

If you know about gear-to-gear please let me know
Any idea what the code P06DD is?
Did this solve the issue P0011 light?? The video doesn’t show the results 🤔
Greetings
Have a question, I replace everything as you did with new parts from the dealer but still having the same code p0011
Any ideas? Thanks in advance
Is there no gasket between the back in of the oil pump and the front of the engine block?
No

If someone has worked on the car/truck before, they possibly broke the lock and it’s missing.
After watching this i feel like im ready to give it a crack got an ls2 hsv ve
Excellent content. Thanks for uploading.
