With Mario Kart Tour’s End of Service announcement coming next month (it was datamined), I wonder if the costumes, karts, or gliders will come to MK8D. I seriously doubt it’ll happen since the DLC ended and it had credits at the end, but it’d be a nice surprise if it happened.
The datamine is believed to be tied to an updated version of the Sunshine Tour splash screen, as the original accidentally layered Sailor Toadette's render underneath Kangaroo Yoshi's Green Double-Decker kart. There is no evidence at this time to suggest End of Service is coming soon, though it very well could still happen.
I wonder how many players who played it on WiiU would buy again. I don't think I would triple dip on these games. Maybe if there was a dungeon rush mode. BotW just spoiled me and I can't play the old overworlds anymore. Too much lock+key mechanics.
They are going to announce a bunch of Game & watch color editions, like the Anniversary Mario/Zelda editions but these will be Game & Watch Classic editions. I don't hear many people talking about a Mega Man Legends Legacy Collection. Looking back, the Battle Network Legacy Collection announcement was in a Nintendo Direct, albeit a Partner Showcase. It is also a game that I have been thinking about lately. Here's hoping for an announcement at this upcoming Direct!

They also need to rescue the Wario Land game trapped on the Virtual Boy and get that on the eShop, it's actually really good.

We've been in a remaster renaissance lately and they're all winners, so keeping them steadily coming while bigger projects are worked on behind the scenes can only mean a better library for all, right?🥰
I don’t really think they’ll need Capcom for the Oracle games, since the director for them currently works at Nintendo and is the same guy behind Skyward Sword, BotW and TotK. That and they remade Super Mario RPG without Square Enix being involved.
The only prediction I have is that it's going to be great and it'd be a much better send-off to the Switch era than the March 2016 Direct was for the Wii U era (assuming we don't get a September general Direct).

There's a ton of cool moments, areas, and attacks in that game I would love to see reimagined in 3D. Nintendo's main goal with these two recent remakes seems to be to get a new generation of kids interested in RPGs, and that was Tomato Adventure's ethos from the beginning.
I'd absolutely love to see a 2D Zelda in the Direct, a brand new one would be the most ideal but a remake would be pretty cool as well, and while people are hoping for the Oracle games I would actually much prefer a remake of Zelda II, it's honestly a pretty cool game and could definitely be an excellent experience if remade, I'll be happy no matter what we get though.
Ever since Nintendo used WW and TP avatars DAY 1 (3/3/17) on Switch, I've been on a rollercoaster fueled by hopes and dreams. If those games never come to Switch, I'll be so bizarrely confused. Here's hoping that one or both arrive next week. If not, surely next generation.
@@lol-ih1tl4 is PROBABLY done or very close. The thing is it going to be a breath of the wild situation where its released together on switch 1+2 or released on the switch in the fall then released on the switch 2 when it launces
Just came back to say one thank you for the quick fix on the date, but at the same time your info was actually 100% right, just not confirmed info! Never doubting a date you put again even if it isn't confirm!
Considering we're halfway through the year, and the Switch 2 is likely going to be announced either late this year or early next year, I don't really see anything SUPER major being announced during the Direct, though I'm open to being surprised. I think it's likely we'll get something small for Splatoon 3, probably just a passing mention for the Summer season that just started a few weeks ago. Among Us is a no brainer considering the early trailer drop. I'm gonna go ahead and say Metroid Prime 4 isn't happening until next gen too, since we've heard what, nothing about that game? For new announcements, we're gonna get the sizzle reel of games people probably won't care about, there's going to be either a farming sim or a racing game (because we always seem to get one of those), and then I think the "major" announcement will probably be some sort of remake or HD remaster. Whether it's a Mario or a Zelda, who knows, but I think that's probably the most likely thing to get for a big final announcement. I'd go ahead and say there's gonna be no new Mario, no new Zelda, no Pokemon news, no new Kirby, no Smash (because there's always one guy asking for it), I really just don't think they're gonna announce a big NEW project, unless they're already nearing the end of development and planning on a Winter 2024 release. I'd say that this Direct is very likely to be underwhelming as we wind down the Switch lifespan, so don't get your hopes up too much. As I said though, I'm very open to being surprised by something great. EDIT: Project X Zone 1+2 Collection on Switch would be an instant buy for me.
As far as Wario Land goes, could they go with a collection AND a new Wario Land game? Especially for those of us who missed these games the first time around.
Likely announcements/shown in the presentation: Zelda WW/TP remakes Dragon Quest 3 remake Nintendo World Championships Professor Layton Probable announcements: FE4 remake Metroid Prime 4 (It's time. They did announce it for switch and we know it's been developed for switch. Last we heard was at E3 2021 that development was going well. If it's not shown, it's a cross gen game and will come out next year alongside the switch 2) Kid Icarus Uprising remake Metroid Prime 2 & 3 remakes Other than that, I have no idea what surprises Nintendo will have. I'm not expecting any big budget games at this point though.
My number 1 prediction is the announcement of the Splatoon 3 "final" Splatfest, along with a few details as to what the game will look like after content updates end.
Game and Watch Gallery is absolutely something in the back of my head that only now that I think "Yeah! Makes actual sense!" with ND Cube having done both Mario Party and Clubhouse Games. Also YES KIRBY RPG YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kid Icarus Uprising remaster is a pipe dream for me. But literally, Nintendo would just need to put that out later this year and they wouldn't even need to make a new game as their 'big holiday title'
To be honest for a Kirby RPG do something similar to Milky way wishes where he doesn't have the ability to copy stuff as freely giving us an interesting type of job system
Either a port of Awakening with all the DLC & a new set of Eiherjar for the characters added to Echoes. Or a new FE Warriors game based on Heroes (With an original story that has Loki as the main antagonist)
All of these are on my bingo card for the Direct tomorrow: Rhythm Heaven (PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING GIVE ME THIS.) Silk Song An update on Mika and The Witch's Mountain An update on PuffPalls Island Skies New Addition: X-Men/Capcom ports (thanks for mentioning these at the end of the video! I adored TAS, loved 97 and an announcement of any X-Men ports would be amazing...especially the Genesis game)
I think right now the only game I’m really really wanting to see before the Switch 2 is the long awaited Genshin Impact port. It’s been 4 and a half years since it was first announced and while I totally understand it’s probably likely to be cancelled if there’s still a chance it could happen it would really make me happy to see it finally release. It’d be nice to have my favourite comfort game on something I can play more comfortably, and with the next expansion coming in a couple months it would be nice to see new players join in and enjoy it too!
Biggest hopes from the upcoming Direct would probably be A Kirby Spin Off - I would go crazy for a Dream Course follow up with 4 player online multiplayer Uprising Remake - PLEEEEEAAAAAASE! New Donkey Kong Platformer - Feels appropriate considering DK's presence in the movie + the upcoming addition to Super Nintendo World (also a chance to bring back K Rool due to his new found popularity thanks to Smash)
Partners in Time remake would be awesome because it would almost certainly be based on the EU/JP version that is actually correctly balanced and doesn't give all the bosses way too much health
As the owner of several different releases of Resident Evil 1 (and a couple different Resident Evil 2s), I'd love Capcom to release a definitive version of the original games. There were so many little exclusive features spread across the multiple ports.
My only prediction is either an remastered of Metroid Prime 2 & 3 and an update or DLC of Super Mario Bros. Wonder. We probably won't get an Prime 2 & 3 Remastered on Switch. Maybe on Switch 2 whenever that happens. So basically, an update or DLC to Super Mario Bros. Wonder would be perfect.
For some reason my younger brother got G&W3 on his GBC and I played the crap out of it. I had played an actual game and watch when I was younger but like most people I forgot they existed until Smash Melee came out. But I definitely remember playing specifically that gallery game non-stop, and I think I even borrowed the first one from some kid I was babysitting and just played that non-stop. So I have a lot of nostalgia for that era of Nintendo, when the GBC was pumping out all these titles that a lot of people today don't really ever mention again. The game and watch gallery games, the Oracle games, and definitely SMB deluxe are like the treasures from that era that nobody ever mentions and it's such a shame because they are fantastic fun little time killers
Tomodachi Life, Wooly World, Epic Yarn, etc all need bringing over from 3DS as part of the Switch's twilight years I feel... maybe do what they have with TTYD and have 4K patches ready in their code also. My unrealistic want is the Terranigma trilogy being given the 2D-HD remake they deserve.
Recently I found my 3DS's SD card had died and the Ever Oasis demo was my only 3DS title that could not be redownloaded from the eShop. Ever Oasis HD on the Switch, let's go!
The main Apple Arcade game I want besides Fantasian is World of Demons by Platinum. It was actually delisted earlier this year and removed from my library so I hope it shows up somewhere else soon.
I'm predicting: - Metroid Prime 2 Remastered with online multiplayer - Metroid Prime 4 teaser (cross gen title) - That Fire Emblem remake - Wind Waker HD (not TP yet) - no trailers for Luigi's Mansion and NWC, they're already announced - Silksong WILL appear - New NSO batch announced (more Rare games, Game Boy DK games, Genesis will come back from the death) - Konami will show the Yu-Gi-Oh classic games collection announced in Japan (but international release was confirmed) - and the big holiday title reveal at the end is... Star Fox Assault HD! 🩵 EDIT: I forgot about Mario Party Superstars 2 with GameCube boards. And maybe Professor Layton will show up again
I want a Pikmin themed remake of Parachute, where Olimar has to stop the Pikmin from drowning by catching them while dodging blue Pikmin since they can swim
Yes, we absolutely need the Mario & Luigi RPGs on the Nintendo Switch! I'm also hoping we'll somehow get Kirby and the Rainbow Curse/Paintbrush on Switch as well since the European trademark got renewed.

Ever since Nintendo used WW and TP avatars DAY 1 (3/3/17) on Switch, I've been on a rollercoaster fueled by hopes and dreams. If those games never come to Switch, I'll be so bizarrely confused. Here's hoping that one or both arrive next week. If not, surely next generation.
and thumbnail changed! stuff like that makes me appricate yall.
Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD, and Metroid Prime 2-3. That’s all I need!
They must finish Metroid Prime 4 first before remastering 2 and 3.
Can I interest you in 1080 and Fzero sir?
@@lol-ih1tl4 is PROBABLY done or very close. The thing is it going to be a breath of the wild situation where its released together on switch 1+2 or released on the switch in the fall then released on the switch 2 when it launces
@@lol-ih1tlThat seems backwards to me, but they also dont need to be done by the same team. No need to waste Retro on further remasters.
You're aiming way too low.
Just came back to say one thank you for the quick fix on the date, but at the same time your info was actually 100% right, just not confirmed info! Never doubting a date you put again even if it isn't confirm!
People complaining about the date lmao
My initial thought for a niche series being brought out was Sin and Punishment. That'd be pretty rad
As far as Wario Land goes, could they go with a collection AND a new Wario Land game? Especially for those of us who missed these games the first time around.
Likely announcements/shown in the presentation:
Zelda WW/TP remakes
Dragon Quest 3 remake
Nintendo World Championships
Professor Layton
Probable announcements:
FE4 remake
Metroid Prime 4 (It's time. They did announce it for switch and we know it's been developed for switch. Last we heard was at E3 2021 that development was going well. If it's not shown, it's a cross gen game and will come out next year alongside the switch 2)
Kid Icarus Uprising remake
Metroid Prime 2 & 3 remakes
Other than that, I have no idea what surprises Nintendo will have. I'm not expecting any big budget games at this point though.
A Wario and/or DK platformer would make me so happy
I'm hoping to see some news about the new Professor Layton game and any upcoming Ace Attorney projects!
The timing of this was amazing.
My number 1 prediction is the announcement of the Splatoon 3 "final" Splatfest, along with a few details as to what the game will look like after content updates end.
All I want is a new star fox game but it's never coming.
This is me every year
@@ShadowFox7921 one day brother... One day...
I want an Astral Chain 2, and possibly a new Star Fox.
Loving the channel - keep the good vibes going 🙏
To be honest for a Kirby RPG do something similar to Milky way wishes where he doesn't have the ability to copy stuff as freely giving us an interesting type of job system
I know we have the originals on NSO, but I would love the 3DS versions of OoT or MM on Switch.
Either a port of Awakening with all the DLC & a new set of Eiherjar for the characters added to Echoes. Or a new FE Warriors game based on Heroes (With an original story that has Loki as the main antagonist)
All of these are on my bingo card for the Direct tomorrow:
Rhythm Heaven (PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING GIVE ME THIS.)
Silk Song
An update on Mika and The Witch's Mountain
An update on PuffPalls Island Skies
New Addition:
X-Men/Capcom ports (thanks for mentioning these at the end of the video!
Biggest hopes from the upcoming Direct would probably be
A Kirby Spin Off - I would go crazy for a Dream Course follow up with 4 player online multiplayer
Uprising Remake - PLEEEEEAAAAAASE!
New Donkey Kong Platformer - Feels appropriate considering DK's presence in the movie + the upcoming addition to Super Nintendo World (also a chance to bring back K Rool due to his new found popularity thanks to Smash)
I want them to bring all of the Sonic Advance games to Switch! PLEASE!!!
My low key prediction is a Kirby and the Amazing Mirror remake or sequel. The map exploration and co-op is so good!
I thought the date had been confirmed xX
It basically has been
Ya I had to go check other sources if it had been announced, it dosnt matter these can stand until direct happens whenever that is
@@carlodavies9227except it hasn’t??
@@ChildOvAtom notice the word basically
Why is everyone so worried about the date? We already know there's going to be a June direct, just be patient lol
I need Rhythm Hell 😂
I predict Doshin the Giant HD
Jon is always fueling my hope/delusion for a new Wario Land
That song in the beginning… sonic adventure forever
Tomodachi Life, Wooly World, Epic Yarn, etc all need bringing over from 3DS as part of the Switch's twilight years I feel... maybe do what they have with TTYD and have 4K patches ready in their code also. My unrealistic want is the Terranigma trilogy being given the 2D-HD remake they deserve.
Recently I found my 3DS's SD card had died and the Ever Oasis demo was my only 3DS title that could not be redownloaded from the eShop.
Ever Oasis HD on the Switch, let's go!
Just mod that bih man, wtf are you doing...
WAY WAY out there prediction… Remake of Zelda I (original Legend of Zelda) and Zelda II: Adventure of Link.
Final Fantasy Tactics Remake, Simpsons game collection, Breath of Fire collection
Two remakes I would to see Grezzo do based upon the art style used for their Link’s Awakening remake.
EarthBound/EarthBound Beginnings or Golden Sun.
I think a good chunk of the games may be announced to have switch 2 support without directly showing off the console.
The main Apple Arcade game I want besides Fantasian is World of Demons by Platinum. It was actually delisted earlier this year and removed from my library so I hope it shows up somewhere else soon.
I'm predicting:
- Metroid Prime 2 Remastered with online multiplayer
- Metroid Prime 4 teaser (cross gen title)
- That Fire Emblem remake
- Wind Waker HD (not TP yet)
- no trailers for Luigi's Mansion and NWC, they're already announced
- Silksong WILL appear
- New NSO batch announced (more Rare games, Game Boy DK games, Genesis will come back from the death)
- Konami will show the Yu-Gi-Oh classic games collection announced in Japan (but international release was confirmed)
- and the big holiday title reveal at the end is... Star Fox Assault HD! 🩵
EDIT: I forgot about Mario Party Superstars 2 with GameCube boards. And maybe Professor Layton will show up again
You forgot Prime 3 Remastered.
@@jaretco6423 I don't think they're putting Prime 2 and Prime 3 at the same time
@@fernando98322 Fair point.
Bruh, no way they're putting up a remaster as the holiday title. Much less a Star Fox game. My guess is a new Mario Party because those actually sell
Tis the season 🎅🏼
I just want to see what Jon, the great prognosticator of Nintendo Directs, has to say haha
Hey please don't put the exact date in the thumbnail if its not officially confirmed
I love that they did this
Wow they actually did it. Good on them!
Why not? Let them put the date on the thumbnail!
There was a date before? What's the date?

I had a dream a Kid Icarus game is announced at this direct. If that happens I'm clairvoyant
I want a new Custom robo game too ,but the developer developer, Noise, is currently working on mobile games.
Manifesting a Beat the Beat Rhythm Paradise port
