My big questions are, weapon attachments and customization, factions invading each other, hell diver customization expanded, I’m not to sure how to ask on those topics
I kind of appreciate that the illuminate are just a diversion right now. Though, it would be nice if there was some more noticeable "reward" or penalty for failing or succeeding in defending a world from them. For example, defending an illuminate invasion could give players samples, or unlock temporary global stratagems, things like that.
If Arrowhead wants to spice up the loadout meta and teamplay, they could try implementing a couple of weapon straps that override the primary weapon slot with either dual-wielding your secondary weapon or carrying a second support weapon. They could be called the Super Holster and the Super Sling.
It`s probably just me, but I would love more Mission Types and Map types. - Space Combat, where we board enemy vessels by diving on top of them, breaking the hull and engaging the units inside. - A Train Protect/Defend Mission, where we need to defend a bunch of trains moving around the map. - A citadel Assault Mission (against the Bots and Bugs primarily), where we assault a HUGE enemy base, like the whole map is said base. - A Defend Mission where we board our Death Star and repel enemy boarders inside the Station. Those are the sort of things that I would love to see it more often, also special mission types where we only see Bile Titans spawning, and we have to defeat wave after wave of just Bile Titans...
These are some awesome ideas. I think a really cool mission type idea would be diving deep into undergroud Terminid hives. It would really feel like diving into hell but unfortunately I have no idea how we’d get our orbitals and supplies then haha
please, anything but this same rinse and repeat grind. there's like nothing to grind toward and we all just hope they add something new to keep us busy I stopped playing long ago but so many weapons/armor go unused due to how linear so much of the game is.
Small upgrades for weapons and armors over a long time would give us a reason to farm/play a lot between major and minor orders. Could be long term grindy, but something to do for people who like to play a bit more. More ship upgrades also = ❤👍

I'll explain the context here, the game's out for a long time. Many people have reached the endgame, try funny loadouts, do solo challenges, and many more (myself included). It's a pve game, so ppl gradually get better, finish the game, and have nothing more to do. We all love this game, we don't want to let this game go and coincidentally, it's a live service game. That's why ppl are gonna ask for more content, more things to grind, and new stuff. Because we want more reason than just MOs to play. If anything, I wish I was so bad at the game so that I still have a lot to improve at the game, lot things to do. Many ppl like me are at the point where we can literally complete diff 10 without stratagems, and it sucks. I want more reason to have fun in this game. Judging from how you say things about "skills", I think you understand.

Loving Helldivers 2 right now! Got buddies back into it after being chased off from all that happened late last year. Everyone is pleasantly surprised.
Making the Space Station have a social hub that you start at when you log in that shows the top 5 planets that Divers are at along with mission planets would be really cool.
It would be a nice thing to have, as I sometime will be halfway through picking load out then mind goes blank on what I was going for. Or I just can't find something I've used a million times. Many times I've picked all my stratagems but then forget my gun was on something stupid for what we are doing and it gimps me or wholly fucks me like running the eruptor with stalwart then next game I don't use stalwart and pick a AT support and then I'm stuck with an eruptor as a primary. Having preset load outs would be nice to just reset my stuff to a basic load out then alter it as needed.
Game devs have already said before they're not adding loadouts because they don't like players picking favorites. I agree that they should, but BuzzLiteBeer has covered one of the devs before who frequently yaps in Discord saying that they don't like players picking favorites.
@ fun idea for the hell pod mod: “Nanomachines, Diver.” Trait that gives passive health regen at like 5HP every 10-15 seconds nothing so major as to negate needing stym but would allow passive between fights healing. That and suppressed weapons for the gear
I’d like the gun range to be a sector of the destroyer. Turn a corner, pick a weapon, fire at moving or stationary targets down range. Something i don’t need to do a bunch of loading to get to.
A free roam option would be great. Dive in, get some kills, collect some samples, test some weapon load-outs, then extract. Sometimes you don’t have time for a 40min mission but still have an itch you need to scratch. You know what I mean….
UNPOPULAR OPINION: but I’m happy with the hit in run if we can get the gloom story line kicked off, I know we want a lot to happen but one at a time will give the devs time to cook and give us a better experience

I wish players would pay attention to the supply lines. Heeth is being invaded from Erata Prime, if I remember correctly. Erata Prime WAS 40% liberated when the attack on Heeth began. All we had to do was liberate Erata Prime and the attack on Heeth would’ve been squashed.
I tried doing that where I saw low resistance numbers but that was the first and only time I encountered Chaosdivers who want to kill everyone at extract so we lose samples and stuff. I don't ever get griefed if I just run campaigns like a simp
On the armour being cleaned by water thing: For the first few months of the game's release this was already a feature. When the update released that made armour stay bloody after you arrived back at your destroyer, this broke that feature. It stayed broken for the rest of the year until illuminate appeared which finally fixed this long standing bug lol.
I would love a vehicle bay on the destroyer for stuff like the frv, mechs and maybe future stuff like tanks and that 6 wheeled jeep from the first game

The area behind the armory should be converted into a range/customization area. Multiple loadouts are shown on display, and a terminal to buy weapon/armor customizations.
Radio backpack idea: automatically calls in Helldivers in need of reinforcing on your position. Turn it on and off to fix mishaps in the case the squad splits into two groups. Quicker than the stratagem and is obviously unaffected by Illuminate jammers. Idk about other forms that block communication to your super destroyer outright. But as barebones as that is- maybe that’s part of its niche. Maybe, for you and everyone within a radius, it MAINTAINS the connection possibly even after times up? This would allow you to drop in hot and blitz things quicker than usual in a niche way!
If it was a backpack, it might also allow you some protection from bot jamming. Maybe instead of being completely locked out, you would instead have a long random string of arrow keys to put in similar to Illuminate distruptors, but you'd still be able to call down stratagems.

I think because our training facility is on mars, that could be where the gun range could be. It makes sense and this range could also have some other things with it, like a Super Burger King for Helldivers to hangout, a millitary meuseum, where we could see some of the projects that lead up to our mechs, eagle 1, and pelican 1. We could even see some hints on what kind of tanks they might add, the A-10, and some sort of VTOL aircraft than inspired the Pelican 1.
Make the Dominator a fully "Elemental" type gun, being able to swap between the normal Explosive rounds, the Thermite rounds and Caustic rounds. Paired with new Acclimated armor set and a tesla canon to become The Avatar.
I am *_so damn tired_* of these clickbait videos talking about _"HUGE NEWS"_ that will _"CHANGE EVERYTHING"_ and then you open 'em... And it's nothing even remotely as _"CRAZY"_ as they hype up. They all use the same bloody style for their thumbnails, too. At least the video's contents are segmented for easy navigation...
I didn’t know about the water cleaning your armor, but it is par for the course. Muaxh03 has made loads of videos on the little details that AH put into Helldivers 2. Stuff like capes getting wet and drying out, using the spare shells on shotgun models when reloading - heck, every bullet casing is a physics object WITH a sound when you walk on them!
@LtBuzzLiteBeer What do you think about armor passive synergy? I've heard a lot of people asking for modular armor passive to have a bit of plug and play action, but I actually disagree with that. What I'd like to see is AH rearrange the current armor passives to just make more sense. Examples: Currently, Servo Assisted has limb health and throw distance, Fortified has weapon stability and explosive resistance, and Peak Physique has melee buff and weapon handling. I think it should swap to this: Servo Assisted - throw distance / explosive resistance. Fortified- weapon stability / weapon handling. Peak Physique- melee buff / limb health. And these aren't the only ones, just a short example.
I want some cryo weapons to be introduce in the near future for some mild crowd controls slowing freezing enemies from moving temporarily would be huge.
if you want to do that currently try the concussive rifle. most people don't use it because it has less damage but its really good at keep you alive. for bugs anyway.
so add cyro to elements elements inclue : gas, fire, cyro, emp/electric, have strength and weaknesses added to various enemy types of each faction~ require more loadout diversity as a squad for optimal runs (and dont make one element more fun or stronger than the others, finding that balance may prove very difficult for the devs and complicate things) still could be a cool idea to try and implement ~

@LtBuzzLitebeer Thanks for the update! Just a suggestion, but it would be nice to get a quick mention of the blitz every so often. The moving arrows mostly get ignored and maybe it can't be helped, but the war would benefit greatly with more knowledge being spread about blitzing planets. Edit: Gambit not Blitz.

An ability to reload and repair the mechs, more paint options, flame and gas mortar, multiple teams on missions like up to 8-12 players, a fort style strategem that drops in fully armed and supplied then a Hellbomb for asset denial.
Ya know, whenever I see the new leaks, I like to think of them as "Top Secret In-Development Projects" from Super Earth, kinda like IRL the military always tests stuff we may or may never use in combat, so even if this stuff does get added, it's much later down the line or could just be a "new prototype that was never formally adopted for X reasons"
The mod community on Nexus for Helldivers 2 is alive and kicking with a ton of different things. I did a stream running a few and they're fun to see. I'd love to see official support though. But the main thing I want is a medium armor piercing SMG that doesn't have so low a round capacity. The Liberator Penetrator is nice, but hunters are still a major issue with its reload time, and the Blitzer just doesn't quite hit bigger bugs as well like Alpha commanders. A nice inbetween like a 40 round mag smg with medium armor penetration would be fantastic for light armor runs
This was what I was originally thinking for a vs/training option, which I never posted because I realized how dumb pvp would be here. For your idea though, I love the idea of a virtual firing range where you can spawn different enemy units and try different weapons on them. That alone would consume hours and hours.
Hell yea, been waiting for this stuff- also got my brother and best bud playing with me regularly now. Life couldn't be better. But since first dropping in back from the mech drop on Tien Kwan, only reached lvl66 so far. Many fields of battle with only one operation here or there. Now I can unleash my inner frenzy with more personal faces *just noticed, love the new intro transitioner
Multiple social hubs tied to different planets and each with unique functions. Would create dynamic gameplay as planets gained or lost change what functions are available and making the loss or gain of planets impactful
That one defense is rough. To keep it managed I had to use an all sentry build and strategically place them to keep out the insane waves of Terminades. One wave had 6 chargers and 3 Bile Titans along with 2 Burrowers. It was pure chaos with all the other bugs.
i think a flair would be a cool throwable for the terminids. Think Jurrasic Park when Jeff Goldblum ran with it to get the attention of the Trex to allow the others to escape would make for some really cool cinematic moments, especially when there are a lot of bile titans!
A radio backpack that would make your stratagems deploy immediately with no delay even with ship upgrades would be so cool. Overpowered? Maybe. But it would look so cool in the concept of being a field radio operator like the coms marines in Halo or the radio trooper in Starship Troopers.
Hey, not sure if it's been patched out but if you wear the toxic warbond hazmat helmet and face your ship modules computers you can see a firing range ghost reflection.
A gun range would be pretty cool, that way you can see what loadout works best for yourself in certain operations, planets, and enemies. Whats your thoughts on color shaders for all armors, weapons, mechs, and even super destroyers (including interior light colors? Giving that uniqueness to all hell divers. I've also always loved that Norse style look, it'd be sick to have a set style of nordic armors fused with hell divers. The variety of melee weapons could be sick, imagine a hell diver in some sort of heavy set nordic armor walking up to a disgusting squid with a two handed axe. Could be a type of support weapon since it would be such a massive weapon. Could be called like: High Hell Warbond Northern Lights Warbond Or just flat out Space Vikings😊
Something that would be great would be some kind of workshop, specifically for exo-suits. Instead of unlocking exosuits you unlock exosuits ARMS that you can add to the exosuit. Other uses could be to add different support weapons to the back of the FRV or even different primaries to the guard dog.
For the whole kill animations thing I think it would be OK under one circumstance, a melee only mech. A mech with a ballistic shield and an empty hand. You get up close to a brood commander and pop its head with one hand like Omni-man did to Red Rush. Get in arms reach to a hulk and shove your fist into its eye and pull out some parts. Grab an Observer by the head, pick it up, and slam it into the ground. Also you should be able to swing the shield to clear out chaff because doing executions on every little bug would be tedious for them to code and us to play The way the animations would be implemented should be like how they do team reloads. Its not a cinematic shot, its just a specific animation that plays and controls the placement of involved entities so it doesnt look weird. You dont want the brood commander running off and then its head explodes out of nowhere because a mech used the force on it, you got to lock it down first. But yeah having a COD style cinematic execution animation that takes control of the camera would be terrible

They need to add in helmet passives like, Night Vision, Target Finder, Thermal vision, ADS Zoom, trajectorizer (aiming arc for grenades/Grenade Pistol/Launcher, Plasma shotgun etc.) HUD(Ammo count) Overheat warning(Railgun/Laser weapons) Theres so many they could theorycraft.
I really want Rambo style are that offers stealth with either more ammo or better weapon handling. Most people don't realize that the majority of the time in his movies John Rambo was sneaking around laying traps and using knives, bows and sniper rifles and not machine guns unless it's for a quick mow down.
They add and remove guns all the time, that are hidden to the average player. Using certain tools, you can unlock and test things they are working on. There was also a "The Truth Whisperer" AR, which was a Liberator that was all blue and was fully silenced, so enemies didn't track your position. Aside from that there also was 3 other versions of the Breaker shotgun. NS-Nailspitter, BB-Bugbiter and a last one I can't quite remember. But they've all been removed now. Probably just old concepts and ideas for breaker variants.
@N0p3-p7e you played? half the player don't give a fuck about major orders and play on other fronts plus learning the dps of stratagems and weapons is important bc imagine being stuck in a mission with new gear that turned to be shit or to not being for your playstyle
I can't remember what it's called, but the armor passive that massively increases the traversal speed while aiming is the best, and it's not even close. The traversal speed on weapons was meant to balance things and make the game harder, removing that breaks everything. It's like I'm playing CoD all of a sudden.

I don't know if this is already a feature in the game and I just haven't found it in settings but if the minimap could stay open in the bottom right corner of my screen. i like to use its radar to see where enemies are but it feels a bit awkward as it currently is
The only update that ever matters to me is when the bring helldivers 2 to xbox, kinda ridiculous they havent yet since theyre missing out on a whole generation and market of halo veterans.
It would be great but Sony is persistent to being against letting Xbox have fun with games like this that rarely ever come out, which is ironic that Sony lets PC have it which Microsoft Windows is apart of for all computers.

Arrowhead should introduce weapon upgrades, like attachments and stuff. Would be cool if it worked like a proficiency system, where you can unlock them based on certain objectives playing that weapon.
SES Dawn of Victory here. Still dream for the day we can call in SEAF infantry teams. They could be entirely useless, but it would be fun bringing in such a squad to a super hell dive
About two weeks ago the extraction shuttle my team was on crashed into the bottom of an incoming illuminate ship and exploded. We still got the victory speech and everyone extracted but it was pretty funny. Not sure if that happens very often but we were all laughing.
I want arrow head to add some new elements to the different missions. I have had the same thought for defend evac points, its fun but we wipe out the waves too quickly. Maybe more spawns at higher difficulties, but I was thinking adding elements that would make players think about leaving the entrenched positions. Like having structures spawn in or already outside the place, for example, the bots have a gunship factory around some bend so players need to dip out for a bit, the bugs have a spire or two pop out in the distance that introduces fog, fliers or it will have bugs that do their acid bombardment.
15h after the upload of this video : Heeth is lost, launching 2 attacks to close planets, Cirrus and Angel's Venture. Luckily, not Fenris III yet. Heeth is still ~47% liberated, and could stop both attack if taken back, but it might take too long due to heavy resistance. We more likely face a victory on Angel and another lost planet for Cirrus in 13 hours.
My predictions for Tuesday: - fix to the bug where passengers in the FRV fire their weapons as they try to ping mini map - improved throttle control on FRV - new Termanid enemy - return of the DSS My wishlist for Tuesday: - make the Slugger AP 4 like the Senator I’ll have to start being active on the server to advocate for that.
Would love to see the announcment tomorrow expaning on more melee centric stuff! Also, they could reuse the Train Facility/Course as the place for the Gun Range. If we get a social space, I hope the DSS becomes that.
I really want more illuminate, but I don't think they should add them until the stability issues with illuminate are resolved. Also gun range sounds great. I would want to be able to spawn in different mobs in differing amounts. Maybe able to adjust their behavior to make testing easier. (Idle vs. aggro)
Was thinking of a way to spend credits or samples. Like you spend them during a mission, so you can change you primary, for example. And can be used only once. I don't know how good it might be or sound, without trying it out.
I do want the devs to do more on the ship like areas you can explore and also a hub for players to meet in. Another idea which would be cool would be a warframe clan mechanic in the game where you can customize your own space
I feel like the meta would be so much more diverse if they took a good look at which boosters should be reworked to armor passives and vice versa. I guarantee some of the weaker passives of each would benefit from the change along with some easy number boosts.
i want to see the rep-80, and deployable barb wire from hd1 return into hd2. also id love if we can get super light armor with democracy protects perk.
As far as armor goes, if I were Arrowhead, the first thing I'd do is get rid of all stats on armor entirely. I would make them all purely cosmetic rewards you can earn, making it more into a FashionDiving sort of thing for the player. I would replace the stats from the armor into either a talent tree type of system or an archetype you can pick from when joining a lobby. Could easily make several of them so you could say pick "sniper" and then whatever armor you wanted. When you dropped in you would then have a set of passives that benefit that style of play. I'd also make it so its not a permanent thing that you can change archetypes mid fight if need be upon death. Much like how in a game of overwatch you can change your character on your next respawn to better adapt to what is happening in the current round. I'd probably do a combo of a talent tree and an archetype system. Get EXP from playing to then dump into talent points for the various archetypes so you can make certain aspects more powerful. As you gain levels you get points but never enough to complete out the tree entirely so you're still forced into making choices about what you want like the WoW talent tree system.

They may give you that but from the sounds of it, the range will be on your ship.

I kind of appreciate that the illuminate are just a diversion right now. Though, it would be nice if there was some more noticeable "reward" or penalty for failing or succeeding in defending a world from them.
For example, defending an illuminate invasion could give players samples, or unlock temporary global stratagems, things like that.
If Arrowhead wants to spice up the loadout meta and teamplay, they could try implementing a couple of weapon straps that override the primary weapon slot with either dual-wielding your secondary weapon or carrying a second support weapon. They could be called the Super Holster and the Super Sling.

there is very little benefit to a weapon being one handed, notably because those weapons are usually ass. so yeah. hope they implement that feature.
It`s probably just me, but I would love more Mission Types and Map types.
- Space Combat, where we board enemy vessels by diving on top of them, breaking the hull and engaging the units inside.
- A Train Protect/Defend Mission, where we need to defend a bunch of trains moving around the map.
- A citadel Assault Mission (against the Bots and Bugs primarily), where we assault a HUGE enemy base, like the whole map is said base.
- A Defend Mission where we board our Death Star and repel enemy boarders inside the Station.
Those are the sort of things that I would love to see it more often, also special mission types where we only see Bile Titans spawning, and we have to defeat wave after wave of just Bile Titans...

These are some awesome ideas. I think a really cool mission type idea would be diving deep into undergroud Terminid hives. It would really feel like diving into hell but unfortunately I have no idea how we’d get our orbitals and supplies then haha

I stopped playing long ago but so many weapons/armor go unused due to how linear so much of the game is.
Small upgrades for weapons and armors over a long time would give us a reason to farm/play a lot between major and minor orders. Could be long term grindy, but something to do for people who like to play a bit more.
More ship upgrades also = ❤👍
Pumping samples into your armor so you can add another Passive would be 100.

I'll explain the context here, the game's out for a long time. Many people have reached the endgame, try funny loadouts, do solo challenges, and many more (myself included). It's a pve game, so ppl gradually get better, finish the game, and have nothing more to do. We all love this game, we don't want to let this game go and coincidentally, it's a live service game. That's why ppl are gonna ask for more content, more things to grind, and new stuff. Because we want more reason than just MOs to play. If anything, I wish I was so bad at the game so that I still have a lot to improve at the game, lot things to do. Many ppl like me are at the point where we can literally complete diff 10 without stratagems, and it sucks. I want more reason to have fun in this game. Judging from how you say things about "skills", I think you understand.

Honestly, I don't have an issue picking my loadouts before each mission, but I can understand players wanting it for convenience.
It would be a nice thing to have, as I sometime will be halfway through picking load out then mind goes blank on what I was going for. Or I just can't find something I've used a million times. Many times I've picked all my stratagems but then forget my gun was on something stupid for what we are doing and it gimps me or wholly fucks me like running the eruptor with stalwart then next game I don't use stalwart and pick a AT support and then I'm stuck with an eruptor as a primary. Having preset load outs would be nice to just reset my stuff to a basic load out then alter it as needed.
Game devs have already said before they're not adding loadouts because they don't like players picking favorites. I agree that they should, but BuzzLiteBeer has covered one of the devs before who frequently yaps in Discord saying that they don't like players picking favorites.

A free roam option would be great. Dive in, get some kills, collect some samples, test some weapon load-outs, then extract. Sometimes you don’t have time for a 40min mission but still have an itch you need to scratch. You know what I mean….

I wish players would pay attention to the supply lines. Heeth is being invaded from Erata Prime, if I remember correctly. Erata Prime WAS 40% liberated when the attack on Heeth began. All we had to do was liberate Erata Prime and the attack on Heeth would’ve been squashed.
I've talked aboutr Gambits in the past, and it's hard to get the divers over there when everything is flashing to go to EP.
I tried doing that where I saw low resistance numbers but that was the first and only time I encountered Chaosdivers who want to kill everyone at extract so we lose samples and stuff. I don't ever get griefed if I just run campaigns like a simp

On the armour being cleaned by water thing: For the first few months of the game's release this was already a feature. When the update released that made armour stay bloody after you arrived back at your destroyer, this broke that feature. It stayed broken for the rest of the year until illuminate appeared which finally fixed this long standing bug lol.
I would love a vehicle bay on the destroyer for stuff like the frv, mechs and maybe future stuff like tanks and that 6 wheeled jeep from the first game

The area behind the armory should be converted into a range/customization area. Multiple loadouts are shown on display, and a terminal to buy weapon/armor customizations.
So we could pick our weapon and do live fire exercises all in one area. That could be cool.

Radio backpack idea: automatically calls in Helldivers in need of reinforcing on your position. Turn it on and off to fix mishaps in the case the squad splits into two groups. Quicker than the stratagem and is obviously unaffected by Illuminate jammers. Idk about other forms that block communication to your super destroyer outright.
But as barebones as that is- maybe that’s part of its niche. Maybe, for you and everyone within a radius, it MAINTAINS the connection possibly even after times up? This would allow you to drop in hot and blitz things quicker than usual in a niche way!

If it was a backpack, it might also allow you some protection from bot jamming. Maybe instead of being completely locked out, you would instead have a long random string of arrow keys to put in similar to Illuminate distruptors, but you'd still be able to call down stratagems.

I think because our training facility is on mars, that could be where the gun range could be. It makes sense and this range could also have some other things with it, like a Super Burger King for Helldivers to hangout, a millitary meuseum, where we could see some of the projects that lead up to our mechs, eagle 1, and pelican 1. We could even see some hints on what kind of tanks they might add, the A-10, and some sort of VTOL aircraft than inspired the Pelican 1.

I didn’t know about the water cleaning your armor, but it is par for the course. Muaxh03 has made loads of videos on the little details that AH put into Helldivers 2. Stuff like capes getting wet and drying out, using the spare shells on shotgun models when reloading - heck, every bullet casing is a physics object WITH a sound when you walk on them!
@LtBuzzLiteBeer What do you think about armor passive synergy? I've heard a lot of people asking for modular armor passive to have a bit of plug and play action, but I actually disagree with that. What I'd like to see is AH rearrange the current armor passives to just make more sense.
Examples: Currently, Servo Assisted has limb health and throw distance, Fortified has weapon stability and explosive resistance, and Peak Physique has melee buff and weapon handling.
I think it should swap to this: Servo Assisted - throw distance / explosive resistance. Fortified- weapon stability / weapon handling. Peak Physique- melee buff / limb health.
And these aren't the only ones, just a short example.
I want some cryo weapons to be introduce in the near future for some mild crowd controls slowing freezing enemies from moving temporarily would be huge.
That could be an interesting addition.
if you want to do that currently try the concussive rifle. most people don't use it because it has less damage but its really good at keep you alive. for bugs anyway.

i really like the passive that you gives you the armor of the next class up. It's nice to run around as a medium with the same prot as a heavy
An ability to reload and repair the mechs, more paint options, flame and gas mortar, multiple teams on missions like up to 8-12 players, a fort style strategem that drops in fully armed and supplied then a Hellbomb for asset denial.
Ya know, whenever I see the new leaks, I like to think of them as "Top Secret In-Development Projects" from Super Earth, kinda like IRL the military always tests stuff we may or may never use in combat, so even if this stuff does get added, it's much later down the line or could just be a "new prototype that was never formally adopted for X reasons"

The mod community on Nexus for Helldivers 2 is alive and kicking with a ton of different things. I did a stream running a few and they're fun to see. I'd love to see official support though.
But the main thing I want is a medium armor piercing SMG that doesn't have so low a round capacity. The Liberator Penetrator is nice, but hunters are still a major issue with its reload time, and the Blitzer just doesn't quite hit bigger bugs as well like Alpha commanders. A nice inbetween like a 40 round mag smg with medium armor penetration would be fantastic for light armor runs

This was what I was originally thinking for a vs/training option, which I never posted because I realized how dumb pvp would be here.
For your idea though, I love the idea of a virtual firing range where you can spawn different enemy units and try different weapons on them. That alone would consume hours and hours.
Hell yea, been waiting for this stuff- also got my brother and best bud playing with me regularly now. Life couldn't be better. But since first dropping in back from the mech drop on Tien Kwan, only reached lvl66 so far. Many fields of battle with only one operation here or there. Now I can unleash my inner frenzy with more personal faces

Multiple social hubs tied to different planets and each with unique functions. Would create dynamic gameplay as planets gained or lost change what functions are available and making the loss or gain of planets impactful
That one defense is rough. To keep it managed I had to use an all sentry build and strategically place them to keep out the insane waves of Terminades. One wave had 6 chargers and 3 Bile Titans along with 2 Burrowers. It was pure chaos with all the other bugs.
i think a flair would be a cool throwable for the terminids. Think Jurrasic Park when Jeff Goldblum ran with it to get the attention of the Trex to allow the others to escape would make for some really cool cinematic moments, especially when there are a lot of bile titans!
A radio backpack that would make your stratagems deploy immediately with no delay even with ship upgrades would be so cool. Overpowered? Maybe. But it would look so cool in the concept of being a field radio operator like the coms marines in Halo or the radio trooper in Starship Troopers.
Hey, not sure if it's been patched out but if you wear the toxic warbond hazmat helmet and face your ship modules computers you can see a firing range ghost reflection.
Loadouts are definitely top of my Wish List. Having at least 4 or 5 of our fave combinations that we can quick select would be awesome.
A gun range would be pretty cool, that way you can see what loadout works best for yourself in certain operations, planets, and enemies.
Whats your thoughts on color shaders for all armors, weapons, mechs, and even super destroyers (including interior light colors? Giving that uniqueness to all hell divers.
I've also always loved that Norse style look, it'd be sick to have a set style of nordic armors fused with hell divers. The variety of melee weapons could be sick, imagine a hell diver in some sort of heavy set nordic armor walking up to a disgusting squid with a two handed axe. Could be a type of support weapon since it would be such a massive weapon.
Could be called like:
High Hell Warbond
Northern Lights Warbond
Or just flat out Space Vikings😊
The killzone armor passives are pretty beast.

Something that would be great would be some kind of workshop, specifically for exo-suits.
Instead of unlocking exosuits you unlock exosuits ARMS that you can add to the exosuit. Other uses could be to add different support weapons to the back of the FRV or even different primaries to the guard dog.
For the whole kill animations thing I think it would be OK under one circumstance, a melee only mech.
A mech with a ballistic shield and an empty hand.
You get up close to a brood commander and pop its head with one hand like Omni-man did to Red Rush.
Get in arms reach to a hulk and shove your fist into its eye and pull out some parts.
Grab an Observer by the head, pick it up, and slam it into the ground.
Also you should be able to swing the shield to clear out chaff because doing executions on every little bug would be tedious for them to code and us to play
The way the animations would be implemented should be like how they do team reloads. Its not a cinematic shot, its just a specific animation that plays and controls the placement of involved entities so it doesnt look weird. You dont want the brood commander running off and then its head explodes out of nowhere because a mech used the force on it, you got to lock it down first.
But yeah having a COD style cinematic execution animation that takes control of the camera would be terrible

They add and remove guns all the time, that are hidden to the average player.
Using certain tools, you can unlock and test things they are working on.
There was also a "The Truth Whisperer" AR, which was a Liberator that was all blue and was fully silenced, so enemies didn't track your position.
Aside from that there also was 3 other versions of the Breaker shotgun. NS-Nailspitter, BB-Bugbiter and a last one I can't quite remember.
But they've all been removed now. Probably just old concepts and ideas for breaker variants.

I can't remember what it's called, but the armor passive that massively increases the traversal speed while aiming is the best, and it's not even close. The traversal speed on weapons was meant to balance things and make the game harder, removing that breaks everything. It's like I'm playing CoD all of a sudden.

I don't know if this is already a feature in the game and I just haven't found it in settings but if the minimap could stay open in the bottom right corner of my screen. i like to use its radar to see where enemies are but it feels a bit awkward as it currently is

The only update that ever matters to me is when the bring helldivers 2 to xbox, kinda ridiculous they havent yet since theyre missing out on a whole generation and market of halo veterans.

@LtBuzzLitebeer What if whatever faction the DSS is over they can use those enemies as target practice and you can buy them for small amounts of requisition.
Arrowhead should introduce weapon upgrades, like attachments and stuff. Would be cool if it worked like a proficiency system, where you can unlock them based on certain objectives playing that weapon.
SES Dawn of Victory here. Still dream for the day we can call in SEAF infantry teams. They could be entirely useless, but it would be fun bringing in such a squad to a super hell dive
About two weeks ago the extraction shuttle my team was on crashed into the bottom of an incoming illuminate ship and exploded. We still got the victory speech and everyone extracted but it was pretty funny.
Not sure if that happens very often but we were all laughing.
I want arrow head to add some new elements to the different missions. I have had the same thought for defend evac points, its fun but we wipe out the waves too quickly. Maybe more spawns at higher difficulties, but I was thinking adding elements that would make players think about leaving the entrenched positions. Like having structures spawn in or already outside the place, for example, the bots have a gunship factory around some bend so players need to dip out for a bit, the bugs have a spire or two pop out in the distance that introduces fog, fliers or it will have bugs that do their acid bombardment.
The light armor for the warbond concept is just Eravin but red LOL.
15h after the upload of this video : Heeth is lost, launching 2 attacks to close planets, Cirrus and Angel's Venture. Luckily, not Fenris III yet.
Heeth is still ~47% liberated, and could stop both attack if taken back, but it might take too long due to heavy resistance.
We more likely face a victory on Angel and another lost planet for Cirrus in 13 hours.
My predictions for Tuesday:
- fix to the bug where passengers in the FRV fire their weapons as they try to ping mini map
- improved throttle control on FRV
- new Termanid enemy
- return of the DSS
My wishlist for Tuesday:
- make the Slugger AP 4 like the Senator

Would love to see the announcment tomorrow expaning on more melee centric stuff! Also, they could reuse the Train Facility/Course as the place for the Gun Range.
If we get a social space, I hope the DSS becomes that.
I really want more illuminate, but I don't think they should add them until the stability issues with illuminate are resolved.
Also gun range sounds great. I would want to be able to spawn in different mobs in differing amounts. Maybe able to adjust their behavior to make testing easier. (Idle vs. aggro)

Was thinking of a way to spend credits or samples. Like you spend them during a mission, so you can change you primary, for example. And can be used only once. I don't know how good it might be or sound, without trying it out.
I do want the devs to do more on the ship like areas you can explore and also a hub for players to meet in. Another idea which would be cool would be a warframe clan mechanic in the game where you can customize your own space

I feel like the meta would be so much more diverse if they took a good look at which boosters should be reworked to armor passives and vice versa. I guarantee some of the weaker passives of each would benefit from the change along with some easy number boosts.

It would be sick if we got helmets and capes that have actual abilities like the armors do.
As far as armor goes, if I were Arrowhead, the first thing I'd do is get rid of all stats on armor entirely. I would make them all purely cosmetic rewards you can earn, making it more into a FashionDiving sort of thing for the player. I would replace the stats from the armor into either a talent tree type of system or an archetype you can pick from when joining a lobby. Could easily make several of them so you could say pick "sniper" and then whatever armor you wanted. When you dropped in you would then have a set of passives that benefit that style of play.
I'd also make it so its not a permanent thing that you can change archetypes mid fight if need be upon death. Much like how in a game of overwatch you can change your character on your next respawn to better adapt to what is happening in the current round. I'd probably do a combo of a talent tree and an archetype system. Get EXP from playing to then dump into talent points for the various archetypes so you can make certain aspects more powerful. As you gain levels you get points but never enough to complete out the tree entirely so you're still forced into making choices about what you want like the WoW talent tree system.
