Welcome to Peterson Family Farm. On this UA-cam channel, we plan to show viewers what happens on a real life family farm in Kansas. From working with animals, to planting seeds, to harvesting grain, to putting up hay, to fixing equipment, you'll get to see what farming is like! Our farm is a 5th generation farm started in 1882 by our great great grandparents. We grow wheat, corn, soybeans, milo, sunflowers, and forages and we feed about 1,000 head of cattle. To learn more about it, watch our channel intro video here: • Welcome to Our New You...

I like when the whole family are on various videos. The farm wives are so important to the whole. They do so much and many times do not get much or any credit. They drive tractors, combines, trucks, make meals, do shopping and are the local Uber service! God Bless Them All!!!

Love your family and operation. Raised in a small SW Indiana farming community, I am familiar with the highs and lows of farming. American farmers are the hardest-working, most honest people in the world. They are also the greatest gamblers; they sow a crop in the Spring, not knowing if there will be enough rain, and they endure drought, windstorms, tornados, floods, you name it. Yet, they persevere. God bless you...

I love the Harvest Tailgate chats with the family! It's fun to see what you make for everyone and what they think of the food. You're right Caelan, this is great content for your fans. Keep it up: You're a natural!

Back in the '50's I was a boy living on 400 acres in north central kansas, north of belleville about 18miles. We had millo and started with a pull type Gleaner Baldwin combine on Steele pulled with an F-30 Farmall. We updated to a 12ft Cockshut self propelled combine with balloon tires. We had one of the first self propelled combined in the area so we would open a lot of the neighbors fields of millo and wheat. This brings back a lot of good memories.

It is so amazing and actually beautiful to see how much you few farmers can do in such a short time working in tandem together on those amazingly full fields! I so enjoy your vlogs and all your farming videos. The new mother is an amazing cook as she can really dish out the scrumptious-looking food to such hardy and handy farm workers to enjoy!!

We have 2 straw walker machines and this year we broke both of them so we rented a bullet rotor machine I did not like them I think we will keep the 9610 and 9600 as far as that goes. I’m in the process of buying my first combine it’s a 1988 John Deere 6620 for 8500 and a John Deere 220 grain head for 800 I got a great deal on them👍
