@@davyf33 first of all, everyone needs to get it for herd immunity. Just because you might be fine if you get it, doesn't mean you shouldn't. And secondly, there are about 20 more vaccines that the average child of an antivaxxer probably doesnt get. 6 in 1, Rotavirus, MMR, MenB, HPV etc etc. Look at the antivax mother in this video talking about Whooping Cough. As someone who was homeschooled I’m always absolutely appalled by the parents who are “child-led” with teaching - I.e. they’re lazy and just let their kids play all day. I finished my academic training to be a lawyer last year, and finished my masters this year. I hate that these people give all homeschoolers a bad rep.
Congratulations on your master’s! If you don’t mind me asking, what was your homeschooling experience like? I was a public school kid myself but most homeschooled kids I knew had negligent parents so were often far behind benchmarks for their age range. I’m curious what a successful homeschool education looks like.
I especially feel bad for homeschooled kids because 95% that i've ever met are completely socially inept. not saying that applies to you, i just feel bad for most of the ones that I've met, because a lot of their parents are those that think they and their kids are above everyone else.
Same. I was taken out of middle school and was homeschooled because I was being severely bullied ( like to the point the school nearly sent me to the hospital). My mom was appalled with the fact I was struggling with math, couldn't write cursive ( they took it out of our curriculum), etc. Thank God she taught me at home. I'm now trying to get my Neurodiagnostic license and I get upset with people who give homeschoolers bad names.
Home schooling isn’t necessarily a bad thing if mums are willing to put in the effort and are educated enough to teach the subjects. This new unschooling thing where they do no formal schooling and instead just go out each day and do what they want is just awful. The kids don’t ask to be born and for them to not have education on anything is something that will have a huge effect on the rest of their life. They will need to have years of schooling when they become adults to learn the things they should have been taught as a child when their brains were like sponges and it would have been easy.

this is the kind of stuff that makes me feel sad that people my age are starting to have babies. i haven’t met enough normal decent parents to have much hope for my friendships surviving them having kids lol
That homeschool group is WILD! My daughter is seven and all of the things their teens do not know, I have been working on with my kid since she was maybe two because it does not take much to work things like days of the week into casual conversation (which kids who have trouble retaining info are more likely to remember anyway) and thanks to Google, we all have the ability to show our kids where places are on a map if they are watching something from another country or something like that. Do these people not even interact with their kids? It's almost like you have to work at never teaching your kids some of those things. Also, to start with, the anti-vax stuff began with a fake study a guy was made for a pharmaceutical company to slander their competitor's biggest vaccine in the 90's. The guy who did this has long ago admitted it was fake. He has shown proof of being paid to do this and being asked to do this. He lost his license to do research on anything ever again as it is a clear ethical violation and as someone who has my Master's in the Science of Psychology (research and statistics almost exclusively...unfortunately...lol) that story is the first you learn in every class to do with ethics in both psychology and scientific research. But Jenny McCarthy, a two bit actress who is somehow the cousin of the amazing Melissa McCarthy, found out about this fake study, ignored that it was fake, and started rallying other rich white American women because they all wanted to "blame" vaccines for the autism of their children. I have always felt like even if we put aside that it is fake and vaccines are completely safe and we play along with their delusions....would they rather have dead kids than autistic kids? If so, they shouldn't be parents. Also, this American one hundred percent agrees that the rest of the developed world is leaps and bounds ahead of us. Moral of the story? Don't let corporations run your country through legalized bribes to your politicians because it is never in the best interest of corporations for people to be educated and have socialized health care and be in a stable position with safety nets and now, to top it all off, republicans are rolling back child labor laws so kids can get a job as young as twelve in red states. Welcome to the '20's....of the twentieth century variety. When ya'll see your government start pushing privatization of everything, remember that it leads to anti-vaxxers who are more likely to give their kid horse dewormer that can kill them than a safe and normal vaccine before sending them to a school where they might be killed at their desks at any time and if they live through the day, they can now leave their sixth grade class to go to their part time job for twenty five hours a week...but they can't have gender affirming care even if you agree and the doctor agrees. 😉

I was home schooled, after going to regular school during the day! My folks made sure I knew my times tables (up to 20x) by the time I was 10. They taught me a lot outside of school hours and I'll always be grateful they took an interest in my future. It certainly made school life a lot easier, and I ended up doing PEAC and SEAC because of it. Not because I'm smart, but because my parents cared. So what on earth are these parents doing when their teenage child doesn't even know the days of the week?!?
also Walmart would pay her significantly more with a minimum (i am mot from America so i may be wrong) of $12 so in all $9.50 more than that woman per hour
The federal minimum wage in the US is $7.25 per hour, however, states can set their own minimum wage laws, so it is higher than federal in 29 states and DC. Employers can pay tipped staff as low as $2.13 if that plus tips = minimum wage (which is why tipping is such a big deal in the US). There are also specific exceptions that apply to workers with disabilities.

@@stalememes3574 good point I didn't even think of that. Def animal abuse. They only dock tails, ears, and dew claws for aesthetic reasons. genuinely hurting a helpless animal for no purpose whatsoever. How messed up is that?!
@@stalememes3574 Exactly. I don't agree with it at all. but damn if you insist on it as a parent then it needs to be done by a doctor. ffs
@@katt_x0x0 it is usually done for sickening reasons like dog fights
10:13 I mean if the potato thing will convince people to get vaccinated, I'm all for it
Having been a member of multiple facebook groups that facebook mums have lead heavily invested campaigns against I'm kind of split down the middle on pity and amusement. Like, it's sad that their entire life revolves around social media to the point that they take it so seriously they'll track individuals down, doxx them, contact their friends and family and oftentimes their employers and tell exaggerated bullshit about them in order to ruin their lives all over a difference of opinion. Then, at the same time, it's hilarious to wind them up and let them go off on a rant cuz you know they're gonna be fuming for weeks over it.
I love it when george calls americans out on their bullshit.
10:41 is genius as it will encourage these mothers to still vaccinate their kids
“There is a spy in the red base!”
@@winterhat7744A RED SPY IS IN THE BASE?!
Used that potato one to convince my deranged cousin to get her kids vaccinated. "Yeah, totally works! I mean, how do you think my mom did it and I turned out happy and healthy?"
8:43 as a NZ citizen I can confirm I have never seen a soaps :(
Why are these people allowed to do this stuff? Surely denying basic medical care and education counts as child abuse.
Perfect timing lad, once again you have timed this video for my dinner, cheers mate for the entertainment for 10 min
the potato one, in my humble opinion, is a great way to confuse karens into getting a vaccine
been loving the consistent uploading lately! ty george 💜
"I pay 100 dollars per week, which is 2.5 dollars per hour, and the minimum for Walmart is 11.06 per hour and in many Walmarts 4-10 dollars more, so they only pay you at least over 4.4 times the pay you get with me. How dare you not let me keep you as a slave!?"
As the saying goes, "Every child deserve parents - not every parent deserves a child". Those were some insane ones.
This just made me more thankful for my mum
0:34 it makes it worse that there are only 6 states in Australia
0:48 my niece is like 1yr 10mths and can count to twenty, knows her alphabet, shapes, colours, names of the characters off her favourite shows... if ur 15yo dont then im a bit concerned lmao
I'll tell you this much, for an 8 hour shift, 5 days a week at Wal-Mart in my state I get paid well. And that's after my healthcare and taxes are taken out. They tend to pay more than minimum wage though, so that helps too.
Deciding the mom of the year will be tough this year!
Memeulous facebook content are always bangers
George looking fresh today 😤
4:54 I mean yes, I trust Tennant but I prefer Capaldi as the Doctor
Edit: I was having a nosebleed when i thought "If I wear my mask, it would hide the blood, so I wore it until I got home and washed my nose perfectly
This is just "yes" I agree much very
WHAT. The second (I'm not even joking literally the second) that I read this, a notification of a doctor who vid of capaldi saying to sub to the official doctor who channel appeared. Literally at 23:03 same time I read this.
This reminds me of the dad American groups on FB, full of people being proud of destroying their kids things as a good sign of parenting 😅
That Arkham asylum joke fucking got me lol I chuckled out loud like a toddler fml lmao
I have covid rn, thank you for posting this George. This will boost my spirits 😄

“Facebooks mums are insane” Yea, like my mother.
As an American I can confirm that America is in fact less developed than the UK. George’s information is factual and keeps me coming back for more.

ah yes, I forgot my 13 hour overnight shift that leads straight into my second job isn’t enough to make me tired
this is the kind of stuff that makes me feel sad that people my age are starting to have babies. i haven’t met enough normal decent parents to have much hope for my friendships surviving them having kids lol
CPS be needing a lot more calls
0:29 too be fair I don't know the states of Australia either
i'm a teacher and i am baffled these adults couldn't teach their kids such basic things
Didn’t know you before the e boys, at the moment you are rocking the upload schedule with bangers constant at the moment. Loving it keep up the good work.
Next video he says he is bored of constant uploads and has better things to do with his life 🙃
I've practically raised my two younger sisters and i can tell you now I'd rather spend 12 hours with them than the 12 hr shifts I used to do at the foot asylum warehouse 😂
I was homeschooled and graduated high school with a 3.75 GPA. It all depends on how much effort the parent puts into it and the curriculum you use.
As a homeschooled kid, i may be learning loads, but i definitely do not want to do the same with my kids. It's too much pressure to teach a human all they need to know. No hate to homeschooling parents tho.
Pharm Tech in US here, medical and vaccine information sheets have a lot of clinical and chemical data, including who they tested it on, how long, and what the results of the clinicals were ect., and is a valid source of information to cite because of that. 👍 Interesting read 7/10
Some people shouldn't have kids 🙄

0:45 I think I learned the days of the week when I was 3 or 4. If you don't know them at 13, we've got a problem...

Nurses and doctors who work 70-100 hour work weeks when a mom™ says childless people can’t be tired:
Facebook Mums are a *different* breed, like the shit you see from Alien kinda different.
My mum’s friend didn’t want her son to get a filling in his tooth because:
“Teeth heal on their own.”
NO THEY DONT!!! They may heal but it is not possible to heal a big gap in the tooth
George made an Arkham Asylum reference, I love that game !! 10/10 video.
7:56 she would be working for $2.50 an hour so average minimum wage in the US (correct me if i am wrong)
also Walmart would pay her significantly more with a minimum (i am mot from America so i may be wrong) of $12 so in all $9.50 more than that woman per hour
6:34 They forgot "under a gravestone"
7:36 I thought that was 100 dollars a day but a week wtaf
I think the worst part of that dinosaur one is the fact that they think the world is only a few thousand years old.

i thought it was normal to have your mum insist on washing you when you're 11. first time i had to clean myself was when i was on a school residency trip aged 12. since then i found out it's weird and have been having showers by myself without my mum, but she still asks to come and wash my hair and can get quite angry when i say no (i'm 13 now and thats weird)
edit: thanks for the concern, i just wanted to say i am distancing myself from my family as soon as possible for other reasons aswell
@C C yea wtf that is weird mate call childline
