My ex husband's 17 yrs old daughter got killed jet skiing and drinking. It' had rained alot after a tropical disturbance and she was too drunk to reason out that lots of rain meant that the water level was higher and she tried to go under a bridge on the jets skies and her head hit the bridge and she killed her instantly. Drinking and driving anything is a no no.

kids make a mistake that can never be undone. It’s absolutely heartbreaking and it changes your life forever. You never get over it!…. you live with it everyday
He looked just like his dad.

Our family lost my brother to a party with alcohol, while home on leave. Family wedding was 6 days later; Funeral and wedding, same week. No MVA, drowning. We didn’t get to watch each other grow old.
The reason that you are not allowed to rent a car until you are 25 years old is because the brain is not entirely functional when you are so young. Your judgement is not fully capacitated when you are Young, Which is why we Make Mistakes at that age. I know I made Big Mistakes when I was that age. I was lucky....

I could not imagine the pain of losing your child. I don't have kids but I was with my mom when she passed. If you live to old age you'll experience different kinds of losses. Some very young little kids have to deal with losing a parent. It's never easy. I think about and talk to my parents every day. Loved ones are never truly gone to us. Sorry for the loss of your son. I'm sure you live for him each day.
