The John Henry I grew up with was he was a rail road worker. He faced of a train in a compatition of who can nail the row of railroad spikes the fastest. After stage one he was given a second sledgehammer and barely wins. And he kneels down exhausted but doesn't die. (Yes this is the animated movie)

Actually, I prefer it that he died. Because the truth is, the machines will always do the work more reliably. They don't become exhausted or die. Humans should only do the work that requires thought. Like deciding what the machine so do in specific. Machines only do what they are told, repeatedly. Humans think about what they are told and find the best way to do it.

I've been playing Skyrim since launch day 2011 and only a few days ago did I find out there's a follow up quest to 'Blood on the Ice' in Windhelm. Finally got that 'Strange Amulet' out of my inventory~
I have always thought Madesi was the most flippin' adorable lizard in Skyrim. He's just always so friendly and his bright orange feathers along with his smile are so cute. I don't play as an Argonian very often in the game, but one day I went to sell jewelry to him as an Argonian character, and when he called me "marsh-friend" instead of "land-strider", I just BEAMED. Totally wasn't expecting it, and it made me so happy. x3 So I can attest, there's at least ONE other Argonian in the game than Talen-Jei that does that.
Okay, fun fact about the dragons at Skuldafn Temple: two of them WILL attack you unprovoked when you first arrive. There are two others, sitting on the wall up near Nakriin who do not attack unless you start something with them. So, just because I could, I decided to use my newly-acquired Storm Call Shout on the draugr on the top level. I had all three words, after gaining the one inside the Temple. Well, the storm began, the lightning flashed and let me tell you, it was a hoot fighting four or five draugr, two aggro'd dragons and one very pissed off Dragon Priest! The really fun part was getting back up to finish off Nakriin, and finding out Storm Call did most of my work for me! *chuckle* Fun times...
Nate, I'd like to put light on one thing I've engaged in this video. You've started the forth subject on this list straight with the origin of the information, witch worked as a spoiler alert really well. I haven't played the Dawnguard dlc yet and I was able to jump over that one 100% safe and unharmed for my gameplay. I see that as a big quality of your content as a tiny detail like this saved an entire dlc for me to still be able to experience at it's fullest flavor. Big ups from me mate! Keep up the great work!
Another regarding Meridia, if you haven't covered it yet; should you approach her temple, she'll speak to you and direct you to find her beacon, making it less a roll of the when/where it will show up.
the dark brotherhood was once feared and respected. but by the time the events of skyrim unfold, it's but a shadow of its former self. it begs the question, "what the hell happened?!" some kind of battle with the molag tong? only the DB know and they're not talking.
I have something for one of these videos (I don't know if you've done it already or not but here we go:) so in the main quest "A Cornered Rat" where the Dovhakiin has to go and find Esbern in the Ratway, if you decide to be impatient and just leave him as he's gathering his things (after speaking to him of course), you can actually get some unique dialogue from Delphine. Because you left him before he was able to give the memo that he's ready to follow you, he just won't and if you get to Riverwood and speak to Delphine, the dialogue would go like this: "I found Esbern" ("Where is he?") "On his way." ("The Thalmor could be attacking him! Go and get him!") Or something along those lines anyway. Meaning, you have to go ALL the way back to Riften, going through (I counted) 5 loading screens just to find him and help him through the Thalmor who will spawn when he begins to follow you. It is a really frustrating thing if you're doing a speed-run but a pretty cool and quite a funny little tiny detail that could've been missed!

Hi Nate! I haven't caught up on the series in a while, but if it hasn't been covered yet, on the quest menu, there's a small little decorative "banner" that changes depending on the questline/faction. It's a pretty cool little detail they included.
Seen a lot of this series but i dont remember so, 2 details i noticed while playing. In the thieves guild quest line, during the quest Dampened Spirits, inside the Honningbrew meadery, you can find in the bedroom of the building a bottle of black briar mead next to the bed of Sabjorn (the owner of the opposing meadery). Whats also interesting is that he seems to not know a lot about brewing because when asked by the commander of the guard in the tasting ceremony "What the hell is in this?", he is shocked and wont give ingredients, instead he will just stutter and say "I dont know". The 2nd detail is a little shorter, but it takes some amount of time to make the blood particles disappear from any weapon used to hit another person.
I actually managed to get some extra dialogue from the Beacon. As I decided to pickpocket someone while I still Beacon, and stole some gold, as I left, I get a notification "Meridia's Beacon has been removed". I was so confused, and checked my inventory to find that, yeah, it was gone. Well as I kept going, and raided another bandit camp, as I opened another chest, boom, the Beacon was in there, and I got new dialogue. Pretty interesting.
hey nate I think I found something you should cover, if you run after you Become Ethereal your Stamina doesn't go down, you can run for soooo much longer than normal
Here's something I thought of. The first detail, Craked Tusk Keep. If you think about the word "tusk" and that it is an Orcish stronghold, but isn't marked as an Orcish stronghold but the word tusk is sort of a give away that its orcish. The reason why is that the Orcish race is the only human type race that has tusks as a natural body feature. Now there's a tiny detail for Nate. BTW, you rock Nate! Keep up the outstanding work!
I found a detail you may have missed. At the start of the game, if you get arrested and brought to dragonsreach before talking to Jarl Balgruf the first time you get different dialogue. Iraleth still approaches you but doesn't initiate dialogue. And The Jarl is angry you interrupted his council.
Hi Nate, one tiny detail you may or may not be aware of - you can get two Dawnbreakers in Merida's questline if you hit the original with a powerful spell! (in my case the boss wizard accidentally hit it with a spell of his own) dual welding these babies makes dungeon crawls & vampire slaying great fun! Thanks for all your excellent videos Nate
I don’t know if you’ve covered this one or not because I haven’t watched all 56 of these videos, but the book “Chaurus Pie: a Recipe is written by Nils from Windhelm, and it mentions Susanna the wicked (the girl we see murdered when we first walk into the city) it’s interesting to see the guy Nils wrote a book! Also the intricate little details Skyrim adds.
Actually in Skuldafin, only 2 out of the 4 Dragons there are friendly, when you get there, after Odahving leaves, a Dragon will immediately attack you, then as you fight through some drauger, another Dragon will attack you, it's only when you get to the top were the Dragon Priest Nahkriine is that the other 2 Dragons there don't attack you

I don’t know if this belongs in a 10 Tiny Details video, and I don’t know if you’ve covered this, but I just discovered it myself on a new play-through this weekend: If you progress far enough through the main quest line where you need to find an Elder Scroll BEFORE going to the College of Winterhold, it unlocks new dialogue with Faralda (the gatekeeper) and Urag gro-Shub, where you can get into the college based solely on the fact that you’re the Dragonborn! You could have NO magical ability, and still be admitted. I’ve always done the college fairly early on in most play-throughs, so I was very surprised to find this.
I think that lockpick book one was actually a reference to fable 2 because it’s in the crucible rules: “most contenders can’t read, so if you can’t read DONT bother asking the guard to help he can’t read either”

The brother of the shopkeep in Falkreath also has different passing dialogue if you're a nord vs if you're not, and others will call you kinsman or treat you differently from one nord to another if you're a nord as well. Not sure how widespread this is from one race to another.
Nice work again Nate. After about the sisters 6 episode I decided to start another character not only to see some of the other Easter eggs that I didn't get to in my other previous file but also just to enjoy some of the tiny details
Hi Nate I got a tiny detail for you to put in a video: So there is a man named Benor (a warrior from Morthal) and he claims to be the strongest man in the city, but if the Dragonborn goes down on that claim, you can start a brawl with him, and if you win you gain his trust and he can be a chosen follower. when that was available I took him and inducted him into the blades, he then got blade armor and weapons. Later on in the quest “Laid to Rest” the Jarl of Morthal sends you to kill a master vampire, and she sends some able-bodied men to go with you, along them is for some reason, Benor? And he really stands out from all the farmers with tiny axes with the Blade armor and giant War hammer or axe he has...
You made a mistake there m8, while you indeed cant remove beacon by yourself, if you go long enogh whitout duing meridias quest, it will disapear on its own, and thous voice lines will be heard next time you find it some chest.

Most people probably already know this, but it's something fun that I only just recently actually thought about. Normally you need to do something for the Orcs to get access to the Strongholds. Not if you're an Orc. You get to just stroll in like you own the place immediately after finding it. They even have a "welcome, kinsman" interaction the first time. Some of y'all may never have even heard before.

Hi Nate, one tiny detail you may or may not be aware of - you can get two Dawnbreakers in Merida's questline if you hit the original with a powerful spell! (in my case the boss wizard accidentally hit it with a spell of his own) dual welding these babies makes dungeon crawls & vampire slaying great fun! Thanks for all your excellent videos Nate
I don’t know if you’ve covered this one or not because I haven’t watched all 56 of these videos, but the book “Chaurus Pie: a Recipe is written by Nils from Windhelm, and it mentions Susanna the wicked (the girl we see murdered when we first walk into the city) it’s interesting to see the guy Nils wrote a book! Also the intricate little details Skyrim adds.

Actually in Skuldafin, only 2 out of the 4 Dragons there are friendly, when you get there, after Odahving leaves, a Dragon will immediately attack you, then as you fight through some drauger, another Dragon will attack you, it's only when you get to the top were the Dragon Priest Nahkriine is that the other 2 Dragons there don't attack you

The bandit tower just down the road from Whiterun is where I found that damn beacon, I thought I missed it when playing on the PS3, I guess knowing it’s random now makes me feel better in the PS4

I don’t know if this belongs in a 10 Tiny Details video, and I don’t know if you’ve covered this, but I just discovered it myself on a new play-through this weekend: If you progress far enough through the main quest line where you need to find an Elder Scroll BEFORE going to the College of Winterhold, it unlocks new dialogue with Faralda (the gatekeeper) and Urag gro-Shub, where you can get into the college based solely on the fact that you’re the Dragonborn! You could have NO magical ability, and still be admitted. I’ve always done the college fairly early on in most play-throughs, so I was very surprised to find this.

I think that lockpick book one was actually a reference to fable 2 because it’s in the crucible rules: “most contenders can’t read, so if you can’t read DONT bother asking the guard to help he can’t read either”

Madesi, the argonian who runs the jewelry stall in riften, also calls the player marsh friend if they are argonian.
I noticed that too, the argonian dock workers in windhelm also say that to you if you're an argonian.

Madesi also changes his dialogue lines slightly, if you play as Argonian. Like Talen-Jei, he calls you "marsh friend".
The brother of the shopkeep in Falkreath also has different passing dialogue if you're a nord vs if you're not, and others will call you kinsman or treat you differently from one nord to another if you're a nord as well. Not sure how widespread this is from one race to another.

Hi Nate I got a tiny detail for you to put in a video: So there is a man named Benor (a warrior from Morthal) and he claims to be the strongest man in the city, but if the Dragonborn goes down on that claim, you can start a brawl with him, and if you win you gain his trust and he can be a chosen follower. when that was available I took him and inducted him into the blades, he then got blade armor and weapons. Later on in the quest “Laid to Rest” the Jarl of Morthal sends you to kill a master vampire, and she sends some able-bodied men to go with you, along them is for some reason, Benor? And he really stands out from all the farmers with tiny axes with the Blade armor and giant War hammer or axe he has...
Can't wait for tiny details in Elder Scrolls 6.

You made a mistake there m8, while you indeed cant remove beacon by yourself, if you go long enogh whitout duing meridias quest, it will disapear on its own, and thous voice lines will be heard next time you find it some chest.

Most people probably already know this, but it's something fun that I only just recently actually thought about. Normally you need to do something for the Orcs to get access to the Strongholds. Not if you're an Orc. You get to just stroll in like you own the place immediately after finding it. They even have a "welcome, kinsman" interaction the first time. Some of y'all may never have even heard before.
All the dragons be like Oooo front row seats this should be fun to watch! 😂
