THIS. i have locs but i don’t need people telling me i “hate myself” if i want to try a loose or colored hair look with wigs one day. i just don’t want to comb out my locs or damage my hair with bleach. women of all races wear extensions & bleach their hair, i don’t see why people feel the need to isolate black women for also altering our hair, meanwhile, almost all the white famous women they uplift do too. even miley cyrus says she’s dyed her hair & wore extensions her entire disney career since 13, aside from the blonde wig.

I am 27 and I can confirm that what she’s saying is true. I lived at home with my parents until a few months ago when I got married. I kept a job, didn’t have people coming in and outta their house, came home at a decent hour, let them know I was safe and did what they asked of me out of respect for their generosity. I didn’t have to pay a single bill so whenever they asked me to do something or grab something from the store, I always said yes ma’am and yes sir. If I went out to eat, I offered to bring them something back. Living with parents is great when you’re appreciative & not lazy

The first time I ever tried negotiating my salary they actually rejected there offer. 😂I’ve been traumatized since. Be careful people. Make sure you have the experience to match. Don’t just go asking for more money if you are inexperienced.
Not true! If they recanted their offer, you were not their first choice. Consider that rejection as a blessing to even better opportunities. All the best to you

Yes, she would kill it. In my opinion, all she needed was a bright lipstick and that would have perked up her entire face! She should have advised women to stop putting all of that gunk on their face. It's unnecessary. My skin is just like her "before" version and people always ask me what type of foundation I use and they can't believe it when I say none. I exfoliate and moisturize with a cocoa butter stick. That's it!
Yes!!!! There is absolutely nothing wrong with straightening your hair!!!!! I had natural hair before it became popular and straightened my hair often. It was way easier to manage. Natural hair is so beautiful when it’s straightened. It has soooo MUCH body & bounce!!!
It’s okay to sleep with multiple people, as long as you’re doing safely and consensually. It’s not for everyone, of course but there’s nothing wrong with it. Different strokes for different folks.
It is wrong for men or women to be sleeping around. Human biology strongly indicates our monogamous design. Until modern times the chances of a pregnant woman surviving a pregnancy with child intact was almost nothing. Further, have you never heard of STDs? If you think oh well now we can sleep around because we have technology you're forgetting that our minds and bodies are not modern inventions.

This advice is golden for all those starting out in life without a glue or just a good reminder to value your worth
same here! I totally agree! Cheers!

Sis we all needed to hear this.
Thank goodness you brought this up! Truly, investing has changed my perspective on how one can succeed in life; working multiple jobs isn't the optimal way to attain financial freedom and unfortunately, we discover this later in life. Currently earn as much as 10 grand weekly and this has improved my financial life. Great piece!
She’s OLIVIA SULLIVAN FINANCIALS
I'm definitely gonna check her out. Do yo have any idea if she manages family fund?
Your right, people make money even when the market is down. I started investing recently and realised there's a secret to constant wins .
Facts ....run your own race ...be blessed
I needed to hear this too ❤ TY
Learn to enjoy being alone and be wise about picking women friends too. Everyone in your circle is not on your team! Also develop a relationship with God!
I love this!! Wish she would have said that.
Yes!
This is my current situation. All me. Feeling and looking like a queen and healthier being single. I work hard, do me and enjoy life with GOD as my navigator. I super bask in it!!
Yes this is so true love this factual comment ma ❤
Amen 😊
I’m turning 26 and seeing this calmed me especially moving back home to mom and dad part cos right now I’m home and truly relaxed thank you and the comments here are even more encouraging ❤
FACTS! I didn't negotiate this salary I have now nearly as I should have. I get paid decently, however now I know for certain I could have gotten more.
Me too, 😢😊😊😊
The first time I ever tried negotiating my salary they actually rejected there offer. 😂I’ve been traumatized since. Be careful people. Make sure you have the experience to match. Don’t just go asking for more money if you are inexperienced.
AMEN!
Not true! If they recanted their offer, you were not their first choice. Consider that rejection as a blessing to even better opportunities. All the best to you
@@darcelle82agree! You did right ! On to the next
That Part. How much of the description do you fit? That's where in the range you should ask for.
Always ask for the salary range that’s allotted for the position first, even if they ask you what want
I’m 20 and Thankyou for this advice 🖤 I never had a big sister so this is the next best thing lol
Oh Lord. Get support IRL.
Well dont get to 30 something and still not married if thats what you want. Everything changes after 40 ...
@@prissypacheco2860Everything changes after 40 as in? I’d like to know. I’m 26
@@prissypacheco2860nothing changes people over 40 get married all the time. If se hasn't found the one then there is no need to rush

30 years old and I needed this. A MESSAGE!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
You preached a whole word in EVERYTHING
25 going on 26 soon and I needed to hear this. Still living with parents, trying to get back on my feet, in between jobs at this moment, let go of this one dude, started doing heatless styling (was just thinking about doing heat style for this week coming), not dating at the moment since I’m thinking about going back to college. Thank you 🙏🏼
Me too
Same!
I struggled with A LOT of mental issues it was crazy … toxic relationships & that made me fall back on work . Thus, I spend all my money on distractions to get away from reality. That’s why I haven’t been able to move out. Nonetheless, I looove living with my family ❤️ I’m 23
Ok girl!! You gathered yourself! And the 'stressed from hours of detangling' took me out😂😂😂😂
Periiiiiod✨❤️🔥
Thank you beautiful babe!! Advice I needed to hear!!
Universe and I sending you love & blessings✨🙏🏾🧚🏾♀️😊
Get it sis.
You said everything and showed it stunningly at the end.
Stay blessed 🩷 👼🏻!!
I am natural and miss just washing and drying my hair without it being a days event 😅 people often forget the actual struggle of natural hair 😅
My hair is short and it's been really tough for me to get it to grow.. Now it's growing bcuz my bf pests me to comb it and put grease 😅😅😅 so every day I have to comb my hair cuz it gets ramfled so fast.. And I wash it every 2 to 3 days.. I like how my hair look straight but I don't like the burns I get from relaxers.. And I don't want to damage my hair necessarily.. The only thing frustrating me rn is that I'm starting to get laugh lines on my face.. 😟😟😟😟😟😟aka wrinkles! And I'm only 32 gonna be 33 in a few months.. How??
A days event? It’s struggle but once I Just kept it in mini twists life became easy lol. Everyone’s hair is different though
@@Sarah-kv3qsMini twists are nice, but tedious for sexy times.
Mines only about 7 inches long and I've been at it for two years! I'm going back to my pixie. I'm tiredddd
@@Sarah-kv3qsmini twists ain't a good look for all of us even though they're super cute. My face shape don't look right with them 😅😅
💯 💯 💯. I'm in my 30s too, and this is great advice. I have gone back home until I was 29, dated more than one person at a time, negotiated my salary, blow dry natural, do you boo!
Chile right, I go from curly to straight every other week 🤷🏻♀️. If rain is in the forecast for the week off and on, curly it goes. The Fall and spring before humidity kicks in, I wear it out or half up and down. I dance to the beat to my own drum and I agree with the dating tip. 🤌🏼
When I tell you I’ve literally watched every UA-cam video on becoming a content creator and THIS is the only video that has actually resonated and felt like it was speaking to me. Thank you❤️
Ooooooh that last point was all I needed to hear. I been feeling so annoyed because I miss my perms, natural hair and braids are breaking my hair 😅
Girl I needed to hear this! Thank you! Be Blessed!
You must be over 30 as well😂😂😂😂and single 😂😂
The part about Pride and moving back home with parents is a real one, I felt it in my soul. I was 28 when I moved back home with my family in January 2020 and literally 2 months later COVID happened. It ended up being my biggest blessing in disguise 🙏
You just spoke to lots of souls. Am blessed personally❤
Yes ma'am i ENDORSE this whole message 💝
I've had my natural hair for 4yrs now, and I'm turning 23 next month and I just completed my national service thus, looking out for a job offer. Still staying with mom and dad.....I feel like I needed this. Thank you ❤
Are you looking to be single forever or find a husband?
Facts, life experiences definitely allow you to speak truthfully to your younger self.. love it 💯
Thanks big sis, im 22 so i’ll def keep these tips in mind & use them when necessary ❤
The last one was the word because convenience is most important especially if that’s what you need. Thank you for being the one to see it I felt that in my spirit as well.
😂💯💯
Young women needed this advice! Thank you for sharing.
Honey, you teaching and reaching many with this post.. I love it!!❤
You're so pretty without makeup 😊
Wished i started my loc journey when i was 20..instead of fighting with my natural hair up and down. I'm 27 now started my loc journey February this year😊
Thank you ooooo
Even some 40 yr old still need to hear this
You reminded me of my 20's young wild and free 😅😅😅😅 love loved it ✨✨✨ and I definitely agree on the man wants too change he will lady's what one man WONT do another MAN will, don't stress it baby so many many mensssss in this beautiful world too settle for chump change 😉🙏✨
I’m 42 and negotiating my salary came too late in life. You are telling the truth love!!!
Omg, you would kill the “clean girl” look, bc your face is so naturally beautiful!
That's it!
Beautiful advice!
I ABSOLUTELY Love All This Advice Especially The First One 🦋🥂🌟

You look peaceful vibrant and shining 🫶 good advice gorgeous ^^
All facts, I just made 31 and I totally agree. Great advice girl💁🏾♀️
Yes!!!! There is absolutely nothing wrong with straightening your hair!!!!! I had natural hair before it became popular and straightened my hair often. It was way easier to manage. Natural hair is so beautiful when it’s straightened. It has soooo MUCH body & bounce!!!
?? Natural hair has more volume in its natural state.
The pressons baby. Saved so much time and money!
What a beautiful message
She said its ok to get to know multiple people, not sleep with multiple people.
It’s okay to sleep with multiple people, as long as you’re doing safely and consensually. It’s not for everyone, of course but there’s nothing wrong with it. Different strokes for different folks.
Nope, it is not okay to be sleeping around
@@veronicac4036 why not? Because of some religious misogynistic belief? Men are doing it and y’all seem okay with it
It is wrong for men or women to be sleeping around.

Girl, you are stunning!❤ And you are so right on everyting! Lots of love!🤗🤗🥰
Im 22 and i needed to hear this ❤
I’m 23 and the Job thing is definitely something I need to work on.
Yess 👏🏾 spot on advice navigating my 20s myself. ❤
So true. Being who I am, is being confident in me. You spoke truth….If a man doesn’t show you he wants to be exclusive then he’s NOT. Facts. Believe it! Btw, please share your lash product and lip combo. Thanks soror.
Men are not complicated beings ladies, I dated a guy 9 months and he still did not wanted to have a commitment towards me, I ended it. 2 weeks later I met a man who wanted to have a committed relationship with me after 2 dates (2weeks) and we are now MARRIED and 5 years further.
Still very happy and in love🥰
Be in control of your life and never wait for a man.
I like saying I'm 45, and I'm 45. 😂😂😂😂
Thank you sis. So very important to negotiate your money. And when you do, keep your mouth shut until they say something. Let a man show you. Words are word until they have the action behind it. My first Pastor always said ‘a man’s words are his bond’
Great message!!! ❤❤❤❤
The hours of detangling part HITTTT. The tears I have cried, the broken brushes and combs and hair ties. I have a daughter with curly hair now.. I don’t have time for both! (Atp)
idk i don’t think u realize how great this advice is for the 20 something’s 💗💗💗
As a 50th yr old….I second ALL of THIS!!!!❤❤❤
Just when folks were discouraging me from straightening my hair and deep down in my heart, I want it straight 🙌
Wear your hair however you want, Sis. If your hair is healthy enjoy it.
Yesssssss girl...say it one more time!!!
I’m 33, and I needed to hear this. I just ended a 3 month “relationship” we only went out twice. He didn’t talk to me maybe 4 days, twice. Never initiated any dates unless it involved sex. I was making excuses because he’s in the military, and maybe doesn’t have time. Anyway, second time around he didn’t talk to me, I blocked him. He can go 24 hrs without talking to me, he can do that his whole life.😅 it was sad, but I deserve better, I invested time, my mental health, emotions. Writing this feels good. 😊
@@user-nw8qd2ld5hExactly. My aunt was dating a military man way before she married her husband who had the nerve to hit on my late mother when my aunt wasn't around before my mother went and told my late grandparents about it before they kicked him out of the family home.

Iove your natural look before the makeup.
The way this was needed!!! Yesssssss let em know LET EM KNOOWWWW
I agree with the natural hair. Wash days had me traumatize. Did the big chop on my shoulder length, THICK 4c natural hair and never looked back. My natural hair is now never longer than an inch. Wash days had turned into wash minutes. Free at last, free at last, thank God Almighty I'm free at last!
I commend women who can be gentle enough to get dressed after applying glue on/press on nails. All 10 of mine would be stuck to my clothes or on the floor cause I don’t know how to be gentle with them
I put mine on 20 minutes before I walk out the door. Press each one at least 20 seconds.
You killed this look ❤
29 on the cusp of 30 and this advice is appreciated and needed.
I love the "you have the rest of your life to pay bills"
I agree! Staying with your parents/family is very okay and good even. It sometimes put you in check even.
Do what's convenient, and what makes you happy. Interesting advice for young women.
