It's sad to read over and over "no one can do it better than Chester" or "no one has better vocals than Chester". Guys, no one here tries to replace Chester's voice or vocals. They just try to keep his memory alive. Absolute thanks to them and their passion. Chester will always be the number one. No one has the balls to even try to be him. Love 💗

Asking a Punk singer to hit the style of vocal performance of Chester was never going to happen, but you know what, I enjoyed this performances. Is Mark as good a singer as Chester? No but it was still a good tribute to a lost friend

Growing up these two bands were my favourite band. I never hoped to see them together because of how different their songs are. This may not be the best performance but it's enough for me.

I love this whole concert. The only thing that kind of makes me sad is they didn't perform a studio cover album of everyone here.

wow Travis Barker's drum beats in the last chorus was amazing but the intro sound look like waiting for the light that never comes.
These groups helped me get through those hellish teenage years and made them bearable at the very least. Decades after, it is bittersweet to see some members not there but you know what they say, music lives on for eternity. Thank you for the music!
LP and B-182 were friends- they already toured together and hung out together before all this. Great tribute.
Hearing other people do Chester's parts hurts so much, but at the same time, it so refreshing, Chester will never be replaced, but I love how his memory is kept alive
I was there at the memorial concert and I’m totally with you. It was the most painful concert I’ve ever been to just by hearing others singing for Chester. I was hoping for Mike to sing the entire concert, but that didn’t happened.

There will never be another Chester. It´s 2021 and I still feel music has lost much more than a legend. Listening to Linkin Park, believe me, it hurts, and will always hurt. Great tribute with Blink btw
Watching this in 2022 and realizing that Mark has been battling cancer for a while now and made me think how close we were to loosing Mark just a few years after loosing Chester.
Blink 182 has been one of my favorite bands since I watched them with my brother on VH1/MTV back in the late 90’s and early 2000’s. I discovered Linkin Park when I was in 3rd or 4th grade when one of my best friends (which we’re still great friends all these years later) introduced me to them. I remember when they announced Blinkin Park a few months before Chester passed, I was so excited, it was like worlds colliding for me, and then we lost Chester. I’m happy I found this. Mark and Matt definitely don’t have the range that Chester had, but I still love this for them. I would have loved to see an actual Blinkin Park show, but as we all know, it will never be the same without Chester.

Am I the only one who to this point, still can't listen to a linkin park song without crying loudly? I dont know, without knowing Ive always felt safe listening to what that beautiful man wrote, I bought every album when they released, since my first album ever, which was actually Hybrid theory, with my first cassette player ever, but I never saw myself as LP fan, I thought it was just like a fix I needed, the fat guitars with those melodies and lyrics, it was until he died that I felt, somehow, more lonely than I was, as if someone was taken from me, I never realized Chester Bennington was my absoloute hero and inspiration, I never saw that, not until he was gone. Nothing has ever affected me like that, not a celebrity at least, even when One More Light dropped I didnt appreciate it, I wanted more gruesome guitars and stuff, I will never forgive myself for that, I turned the other way when he had something to say, and now, that album speaks to me in so many ways, that man saved me so many times from myself, thank you so much Chester, you left so much behind.

However, I still doubt it will. LP tend to tour with bands who fit the style of their latest album. With one more light, touring with a pop punk band seemed reasonable, but who knows what they'll do in the future? Certainly not another one more light, since they hate to do stuff that sound similar. Also, their schedules would have to match, and that would be hard to coordinate

What this concert really showcased was that even with all these great singers involved, Chester's voice, emotion, and rawness are impossible to emulate. I don't think by any stretch of the imagination anyone is thinking this concert was a banger. But they knew that and it was never about 100% nailing the vocals. It was about remembrance. Blink 182 is talented, like the rest of the lineup, but their vocals will never fit Chester's. Not because he was significantly better by any means, just that he was so very very unique. And Mike knows that. Even "good" studio covers of Linkin Park never have the same bite to them. RIP to the GOAT.

From childhood I liked LP songs and was my favorite. But after the lose of Chester, I found out how much valuable he was and his vocals are. I had a chance to go for their concert once and I didn't cared to drop it then. Regret now.
