I love her cooking, no fanciness, just the plain down to earth Jamaican cooking. Once you see the Dutch pot, it has mileage on it, you know this mama/aunty/grandma knows what she is talking about. Big Up and Respect. Thanks for Sharing.

Oh my lord, you had me salivating the moment I saw your dish. I watched you for the first time and fell in love with you. You are the real mama/aunt/grandma. I will try to make your dish but I know it won't even come close because I will not have your pot. But it will still be delicious. Thankyou, you are my new prize and I will follow you for now on. Bless you.

Miss Debs this brings back memories of my childhood. The only difference mom made to this dish was she added brown vinegar as part of her seasoning and included tomato puree. When that chicken was cooked it was to die for. You can't beat the old fashion style of cooking and seasoning. Scallions onions black and white pepper the vinegar and the puree. I couldn't have been no more than 6. This was seasoned over night as we had no fridges back in the day.

The good old ' dutch ' pot, got to love them. The well used ones give better
' browning ' results than the new ones.
Love yuh dutch pot miss D. lol !!!

😷One of the best gifts you can get from your granny, momma, or auntie an 'dem is one of the pots/pans they use to cook with when you were little (and in their way)!😃
