    Pimsleur seems to be a favorite among many students when i see these videos and read the comments. I am currently learning Thai and do not have much background with Italian but I think this resource would be beneficial for many!

    More than learning Italian to be an amazing tool to use while traveling, I want to learn Italian to have a much bigger opportunity to learn and study arts in and from Europe, some of the most influential and important artists of history have been Italian, and having the possibility to learn from their books and notes would be pretty awasome

    Great review! I want to learn Italian once I learn German just to learn it. I'm hoping one of my friends doesn't know it yet so we can learn it together! I love Pimsleur and the free trials they offer which I am utilizing now and I really like the review material after you finish the audio. Pimsleur makes it fun!

    I want to learn Italian because I am old. 😊 I just turned 70, and have decided it is not too late to travel to the city of my dreams, which is Venice. I am saving my pennies and want to try and go next year, health concerns permitting. It would be wonderful to be able to speak Italian semi-fluently on my trip. Great video, Grazie!

    I have to say that as a VERY visual learner, Pimsleur is actually a GREAT method for me. If I see words written I will struggle because I haven't mastered PRONUNCIATION which is so key when I'm actually in Italy with an Italian family. Seeing the word can really mess me up. I know what a lot of Italian words MEAN but I totally butcher the pronunciation! I can't tell you how much Pimsleur helps with this!!!

    Pimsleur does have voice recognition. There is a voice coach. Not sure if they released that after your review but it’s definitely there now. It’s called voice coach in the app.

    I love spending time in South Italy where barely anyone speaks English. My biggest motivation to learn is to be able to have conversations with people so I can understand their culture and way of life even better.

    Pimsleur sounds very interesting, and the account splitter option sounds even more inviting. I’m trying to learn French now, and teach my children, but would like to learn Italian one day too 😊.
    What do you think is the youngest age or school-grade learner that could benefit from Pimsleur?

    • @TestPrepInsight
      @TestPrepInsight  Рік тому

      That's great! Tough question - I would probably say age 10 or so. Pimsleur is definitely not geared towards children, and is even one of the more advanced programs for adults. We actually have a "best language learning apps for kids" video coming out in a week or so. Make sure to check for that!

    Mi piace più il Rosetta Stone" che il "Pimsleur". Io Admeto che io non scrivo molto bene l'italiano e che io parlo po. Ma ora io sono capaci de scriverò e parlare, ma in passato io non capici, nemmeno parlare e scrivere nella lingua. No mi piace molto "Pimsleur" perché io me stresso molto quando pratico. Ma quando io ho fatto "Rosetta Stone" io non me ho stressato.

    • @eliassolis4437

      I like more Rosetta Stone than Pimsleur. I admit that I don't write very good in the Italian language, and I speak a little. But right now I am capable for writing, speaking, but in the past I wasn't capable to understand neither speak and write in the language. I don't like Pimsleur because I stress out a lot when I practice. But when I did Rosetta Stone, I didn't get stress out.
