In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion.

Just a reminder, this was meant to be a tie-breaker task, but the results were enough for the creators to think "Everyone needs to see this..."
It seemed surprisingly simple, but it did turn out to be an interesting watch.

Have you seen her stand up routine about children's birthday parties? The clown segment features quite a lot of her lovely horns.
For those who haven't seen the full episode, it was omitted from the upload but Alex said right before the task introduction that it was intended to be a tiebreaker but was promoted to a main task because the attempts were too funny to leave out. It was since established that it was Fern's attempt that resulted in this becoming a main task, so quite literally a David Baddiel situation.

This series was magical. So many great personalities and dynamics between them.
This is my all-time favorite TM moment, and how I intro people to the show. Fern Brady was so incredibly charming and funny, and the captioning is absolutely next level.

Also, in the middle of her breakdown, Fern managed a perfect snort, by accident.
Sometimes the simplest tasks can yield the most powerful results.
I wish this was uploaded with the original subtitles because they made this even funnier than it already is! If you have access to the full shows on channel 4 then please watch them again with the subtitles on. They are a whole hidden layer of comedy to add to the show.
Munya was on posters for UniQlo Im sure at somepoint last year. So maybe facing away from the camera for this task did get him extra work.

As a non native speaker, I really didn't know what to expect from "blow a raspberry" 😂
As a native speaker, I've always known "blow a raspberry" to be against skin (e.g. a child's stomach or your own arm). So I was also confused, but at least I had some context! 😆

I’m guessing this was a tiebreaker task that was included as a full task just because it turned out so wonderfully 😂

My favourite task from this series, had my sides hurting from laughter.
I cant whistle, I spent this entire run-time of this video trying to anyways.

In the show (I guess they removed it in the editing here) it's mentioned that it originally was a tiebreaker task :)
