I've never seen a full-grown man perfectly capture the awkward energy of a middle-schooler delivering a report they just finished the night before on a book they didn't read
Seriously, the improvised feel to this is top notch, feels like something on interdimensional cable. Loved every second.
yes
What I respect about Trent as a creator is that he didn't film the trip - the man lives in the moment
yes
he also lies his ass off
You used to always talk about doing this as a kid, so awesome to see you live your dreams! I’m sure the five McDonald’s in Branson, Missouri were amazing.
Everyone always talks about those ones in Branson. They're not even that good.
@@Jaygeee They're overrated for sure, I'd take the two in Laramie, Wyoming over them any day.
Me who lives in Branson Can confirm, each one better than the last
Didn't Branson get a new one?
Hey you're that UA-cam guy!
It's really cool that you were able to highlight such a special up and coming "mom and pop" type restaurant. I feel like this place could be pretty big one day.
I respect your opinion but I can't see it catching on. Maybe a few more in the USA, but Europe will definitely never accept it

Truly, Trent Lenkarski is a man of the people.
If there are 13,523 mcdonalds in the US and he is taking around 10.5 months to visit all of them (315 days) this means he would roughly have to visit at least 42.9 mcdonalds a day to do this. Absolute mad man.
That's why he didn't do it. He went to one nearby, filmed a video showing nothing that would allow you to work out where it was and then said it was Arizona
@@esmeecampbell7396I don't know, that doesn't sound like something Trent would do.
@@esmeecampbell7396 U just have never had a true cause to get behind i see
@@esmeecampbell7396 He absolutely did it, when he was on his was to the Mcdonalds in Limon, Colorado I asked him when he was gonna stop by my local McDonalds and although he couldn't stay long we shared one of those Big Macs. I got the top patty and he got the bottom one. He was very wholesome and humble and before long he was on his way again. I wished him luck on his journey
@@moooseman3 it's pathetic clickbait because he doesn't have any real talent or video ideas.
I could post a "going to every McDonald's in the world" video like this tomorrow but I'm not going to because I'm not a sad little autist
I remember seeing you at my local McDonald's! I was the grown adult in the ball pit eating spaghetti out of a ziplock bag i brought from home
Hi
You have no idea how little that narrows it down
Nice. I actually just got done touching every single grain of sand in the world. There’s actually like thousands of them and they’re all quite similar. Thanks for the vid, Trent. Funny thought, but maybe you’ll help this “McDonald’s” find some success!
This is peak comedy. Blurs the line between reality and ridiculous, love it.
I saw this guy leaving a McDonald's with like 200 waters, it was crazy.
Woah, those 200 waters was from a single McDonald's? That's impressive.
At my McDonalds he just got an order of "the first scoop of fresh fries" with a coffee sleeve around the fry cup and went and gazed longingly at the playplace.
@@charlesfuzak He had to stock up on liquids early for the long drive...
I hope the next video is about Trent running for president and winning and fixing all the world's problems
He could tho, the world would have a Trent vibe if he was president of the USA
president of calendars
My favourite joke of this video was him describing what a McDonalds is, as if anyone who clicked on the video wouldn't know already xD So many UA-camrs do that exact kinda thing, it's relieving to see someone else notice and poke fun at it. Great video!
Yea, also him saying there are a few in the rest of the world like it isn't the biggest fast food chain of the planet 😅
Oh woah so you've heard of this before? I'm still pretty young so I don't understand these worldly experiences, but now I do because of Trent Lenkarski
@@poiparad4512 I'm going to have to check one out after watching this! Looks like it is two pupusas with something between them?

Trent, you aren’t a standard guy. A standard guy doesn’t go to all 13,523 McDonalds in America and make a video about going to all 13,523 McDonalds in America.
A standard guy doesn't visit 40 mcdonalds locations a day for 10 months.

This was insane to watch. As someone who has never been to every McDonald's in America I was super impressed to watch this video about someone who has been to every McDonald's in America.
You can tell this comment was posted by a bot, as most people in the world have actually been to every McDonald's in America
I'm about half-way through the McDonalds Challenge right now, and I can confirm that the Big Mac is a cool one!

This will rival my upcoming video “not driving to every McDonalds”
I cannot wait!!! It might inspire me to make "driving to the only McDonalds in my home town"
@@babyskunkcatEvery day I don’t drive to the McDonald’s in my town. But I’ve never documented it on video, maybe I’ll do that.
I saw Trent Lenkarski at a grocery store in Los Angeles yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”
I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

Wow. This on its own is incredible, but can you believe he did this while also building a perfect 1:1 scale model of Zion National Park? This man deserves a free vanilla soft serve cone from McDonalds.
It's always nice to hear about restaurants that other people like that I've never heard of. I live in Canada though, but I'm hopeful they open a location here soon. I'll be first in line to try the Large Mack, or whatever you called it, it sounds hilarious.
I know they have expanded to the UK recently so they are clearly expanding their global market. It was a 7 hour drive up to Glasgow (each way) but definitely worth the trip.
Edit: I believe it was called a "Sizable Mac" after the Macaroni cheese which it comes with
Being in Canada too, I'm so tired of having to climb the Ice Wall down to the US, raid a Mcdonald's location with my band and get back. It's not worth it, but when the itch is there, it's hard to resist.
@@jameskilgour387 Good to know. I'm actually planning a trip to the UK, as I'm a bit of a foodie. I will add Glasgow to the list of places to stop, which is good because I believe Edinburgh is nearby and I can stop in for a sandwich restaurant I've been dying to try that just opened up there, called "Sub-Whey", named for their dipping sauce which is just a big glass of whey.
@@jverkaik100 Wait, theres a Sub-Whey in Scotland?! How neat! I thought that was just a small family owned eatery in my local area. Glad to see them expanding to the global market.
@@jameskilgour387i has to fly over to dublin and they had a mediocre mak, it was well worth the 4 hour flight from cyprus, was the only one in europe when i visited in march!!
Kudos to Trent for drawing attention to such an underrated and low key obscure restaurant. This kind of word of mouth is so important for small chains.
This is the single most immersive video I've seen on UA-cam.
I genuinely felt like I've been to Every McDonald's in America.
In fact, I have.
I have been to Every McDonald's in America.
13500 locations / 10 months = 1350 mcdonalds per month
1350 mcdonalds / (avg.) 30 days = 45 mcdonalds per day
45 mcdonalds per day / 24 hours = 1.875 mcdonalds per hour
what an amazing adventure and so full of action. honestly im glad you shared your experiences with us, ive always wondered what the other mcdonalds were like throughout the country.
great video, 10/10 will recommend to anyone just starting to get into the mcdonalds scene.
I cracked up when you said you stopped going East to West because the sun was in your eyes pretty much the entire time. The build-up and deadpan delivery of such a common sense joke is genius. Gives me Joe Pera vibes. I'm looking forward to the next video!
it hurts to see someone living out your dream
I’m glad u finally accomplished what you were destined to do
Thanks Kev : )
There is an old saying that says "A man is defined by his actions, not his words". You didn't just say "I will one day go to every McDonalds in America" and then didn't, like 95% of us. You actually went and DID IT and I think you are a better person for it. We really need more people like you to inspire the rest of us to live our lives to our full potential. It is crazy how many people come and go from this world without ever doing something that actually makes a difference. Your resiliency has actually made me question some things about my own life and I thank you for it.
Also good decision keeping away from the soda. That is what kills you. Nasty stuff!
It is true that 95% of people say they will go to every McDonald’s in America, and then don’t actually do it
@@ninjagamer1359yes
This is a truly admirable feat! It's such a shame you couldn't document all of it though. Regardless, I'm still really impressed you pulled this off!

I love how much effort was put into documenting this experience. Webby-worthy.
This is incredibly impressive. Not only did he get them all done in a year, but he even managed to drive to McDonalds on various islands and areas that have banned cars all while still producing videos with his friends.
Ed and Teddy have some real competition now, great job Trent!
this is one of those videos that has aged so well
I actually did a very similar thing, except I did the entire world. It's taken me the last 2 or 3 months, and jeez, it was a lot of travelling. I must have finished at the same time as you, Trent! If only I'd known you were also doing the challenge, maybe we could have coincided the final one to be at the same place!
Cool to see another person who really appreciates fine dining!
Great to see you two are not competitive about it. You should be, though. But it’s great to see you‘re not. It‘s not all about winning. You did win, though. Congratulations.
Trent is such a nice guy. I instantly believed he did all of that.
What do you mean you "believed"?

Oh man I used to LOVE McDonald's when I was a kid. So cool to see this little chain finally getting some attention!
What a great idea for a video Trent!
Let's take a moment to appreciate Trent's dedication giving us content by making a 10 month trip around America for just one video
Thanks for taking pictures for us, I haven't seen more than a couple locations so it was really great seeing the variety in architecture!
Comedic gold. I hurt myself laughing at the " east to west and west to east" map.
Holy shit just seeing the thumbnail had me laughing. The only thing I’ve seen from Eddie was his trip to all the rainforest cafes and I hope this is like that. But with nothing but sadness and it takes years.
My favorite part was when he said, "It's Trenting Time" then Lenkarski'd all over the place
I love how the picture quality kept getting worse and worse
Nice dude, me and my pops did the same back in 2010 for his birthday (he loves his bigsnac or whatever it's called), I agree once you go vertical there's no coming back it's just way better, also for anyone else interested in this trip I'd recommend using a car, we used bikes and let me tell you after the 5734th you get tired if you're not in shape
So impressed that you managed to survive for 10 months off of 20 big mac's and 40 orders of fries.
Can't wait to see you try every Burger King in the states!
I absolutely love that you spent a year doing this and hardly ate any mcdonalds on it, national icon
CRAZY FUCKING VIDEO!!!!??? I didn't know you've had this type of production and quality in you dude!! Trent, you always deliver, and never miss. Sponsor this man McDonald's!
If it weren't for the pictures, I'd think this guy is totally phoney. But when he pulled up the pictures, I just knew this guy did it. I'm so proud of you
Its not stupid Trent, its beautiful to follow your treams.
I hope this video gets at least as many views as there are McDonald's in the world. Bless up, king.
This is hilarious as UA-cam has been taken over by videos exactly like Trent's :)
"I farted on an elephant in every state!"
I actually did this exact same thing at the exact same time and I don't remember seeing you at a single one of the mcdonalds I went to... We must have just missed each other.
So glad he decided to do the video in his iconic voice
I called my grandma "Nanny," too! Neato. She took me to several McDonald's in the area when I was a kid. Three, maybe four.. could be five of them. Honestly, I have no idea. It was the 90s. Anyway, she was partial to Hardy's and it was often a point of contention between us. Sometimes she'd take me to the river after and that was cool. She'd tell me "now don't tell your mom I made you swim after eating or there's no Hardy's next time." And I'd say, "well, that's fine because I prefer McDonald's," to which she would respond, "that's what I meant."
Even with the lack of tangible evidence that Trent actually completed this endeavor, I am still 100% convinced that it happened and only made 1 video about it.
so proud of you Trent!
Thanks Ben!!!
What a beautiful route and map
The humility it takes to not even talk about the effort that must have gone into visiting all the stores in the North Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico. Just amazing.
I love how hilariously terrible the phone pictures are.
Congrats brother! One small step for Trent one giant leap for humanity!
This is honestly impressive. Kind of jealous that you got to see all those different Mc'Donalds®

i was a little uncertain on the truth behind this til he listed out those pinpoint accurate stats of things he ordered at all the mcdonalds. that sold me
Hats off to Trent showing us a small, little-known family-owned business!
glad u got freed from the play place! i know some 6 foot 2 men who are still stuck in their to this day!
This video is honestly the funniest video I have seen all week. Going to visit ever McDonalds in the US and forgetting your camera, only getting 20 big macs, basically just ordering water cups, and only driving by some of the locations; Like that is hilarious. S tier sketch
wow, this is complete bs! ...is what i would say, if i hadn't met trent at the 50's mcdonald's over on telegraph road in dearborn heights, michigan. we had a good laugh. glad you finished the trip, trent!
As you are proficient in every Mcdonald's, I'm sure you would be interested to enter a competition I'm fond of which is basically GeoGuessr, but for McDonald's. You see a picture of a Mcdonald's, and you must guess where it is by analysing its particular shape. The #1 prize is a special card that you can scan at Mcdonald's and you get to pay the prices from the early 2000s.
I just want to say when i first saw your stuff with joel years back i wasnt sold on if you were funny, but every year you got leaps funnier. I now look foward to your dry humor the most out of all you guys when u do skits. You have come a long way man just wanted you to know we see that growth and its incredibly satisfying to watch a guy go from take it or leave it to deep belly laugh content every time.
I'm so happy to hear that it was great to eat some french fries, i was worried the whole video that it was actually scary to eat some french fries
I'm glad somebody finally had the balls to go through with this. Your journey will certainly be told for generations.
I'm already laughing and I haven't even started the video. Excellent joke
I love your personality. It's so warm, genuine, and effortlessly funny. Keep up the good work, my guy.
Thanks for making this, I had a big smile on my face for most of the video
Congrats Trent. It's me, your grandma. I'm so proud of you
Wow, this does sound pretty fun. I might want to try this out someday, to visit all the McDonalds in the country. Might need to take a day or two off of work, but I bet it'll be worth it!
I don't know what's funnier about the map: that there are no McDonald's in Texas south of San Antonio, or that there seems to be about a dozen locations in the Gulf of Mexico.
This entire video has the vibes of a Home Movie episode. Just awkward, static energy while the people on camera say the wildest things that keeps you glued to the screen.
If you spent 10 minutes at each McDonald's that would be a total of 93 days or so. That is dedication.
I was kind of disappointed to see the playplace closed down when I went to the largest McDonalds in Orlando, but I'm glad to know it was for a good reason now! Hope you got out okay!
Awesome stuff, Trent. What a great way to see almost the entire nation.
I can’t believe Trent pulled this off before MrBeast. MrBeast really has some serious competition now. Especially since Trent played in every McDonalds PlayPlace too. MrBeast would never play in the PlayPlaces. Can we just appreciate how much time and effort Trent puts into his content?
I feel inspired. Trent may want to look into this up-and-coming restaurant that claims to be the "Burger King."
not to be rude but did you get us anything? since you went to so many
back when i was in college, some of my buddies and i traveled to all the mcdonalds in the san bernardino area over the course of about 2 weeks. It was only about 3 mcdonalds total, but boy did we make some great memories. thank you for sharing your trip with us, it really brought me back to that time with my buddies.
this video was so good I think you’re so good at what you do! wishing you well!
If this doesn’t hit the algorithm I’m calling Susan 😡
bro where is a Big Mac and large fry $11.95? that seems really high from my experience
i worked there for a couple of months this year and got them for free so i never knew the price but that still seems high for just 2 items
A truly noble endeavor, Trent. Great job, even with the little battery hiccup.
PS: That Beaverton location has the best salt to fry ratio of any of the few thousand locations that I frequent.
The menu breakdown at the end was breathtaking. Awe inspiring. The amount of dedication you must have not had to do this is incredible.
Nothing better than supporting modest franchises that are the backbone of America.
Gotta say, that's a crazy feat. Goes to show that you can do anything you set your mind to.

i've only been to mcdonalds twice in my life while i was on a trip in berlin, the burgers were much smaller than i expected but surprisingly satiating. the taste was okay. i also got some cardboard jenga-like minions-themed game from a happy meal. that's all mcdonalds experience that i have
