They wrote over 500 songs. No one will ever be like them again.
Well over 1000....
Yes, over 1000 songs
I didn't know that!?
Amen
I miss them together so much.
I'm a 65 y.o. black man from Philly and I grew up on them in the 70's. There's no auto tune,no filters etc. Regardless of your race if you loved good music this is a classic. They've got a lot of good songs including their disco era that people enjoyed. Yes your right baby making music that they don't make anymore. To me the 60's,70's & 80's were incredible for great music. Enjoy my friend.
yes brother we had legendary artists back in those days from various genres , disco, rock n roll, r &b, jazz motown. no auto tune just pure talent. listening to some orf the songs from
the eras brings tears to my eyes from all the memories that flood back.
Subscribed. You have a very healthy and thoughtful outlook. Very interested in what the next songs will mean to you. Lots of great music in your future.
The only one left is Barry. Such an awesome group! No auto tune! Live music.
Hello Merry Christmas I loved your post from a 66 yo white woman in havertown suburb of Philly. 😊
It was the 60's. We were lucky. Best music.
I'm a 59 year old woman who grew up with The Bee Gees. I just love your response. Try also, "How Deep is Your Love." They also back up their younger brother, Andy on a song: "Don't Throw It All Away." Andy sings falsetto also. This song will break your heart.
Young man, I can tell you have a solid value system. Stand tall young man!!
You keep your attitude young one and you'll go far😊
You are an incredible young man. I wish I had a daughter for you to marry.
This is back when musicians had TALENT! No electronic filters and autotune....
Hi, I’m from the UK 🇬🇧
I was born in 1963. The Bee Gees were all brothers. Only Barry Gibb, the lead singer survives his brothers. They formed in 1958 but had chart topping success from the late 60’s through the 70’s but were active right up to 2012. I literally listened to them throughout my life.
They were natural singers and amazing.
So lovely to hear your comments and appreciation 😊
Me too. Great vintage 1963 !
The Bee Gees are CLASS. Been around for Decades producing hit after hit.
Cymru Wales ❤ Israel 🇮🇱
The Bee Gees! Loved them growing up! Black female here, 54. My older siblings played them all the time. Yes, natural voices, no filters, no such thing as auto tune. 🎶
It's so nice to see the younger generation appreciating such a beautiful song and such an amazing talent.
The Bee Gees have no equals.
1978-1979 Back when we had real musicians. No filters, faking voices, pretending to play instruments...This is the music we grew up with.
No autotune just pure talent, they wrote produced and sang and wrote for other people. Genius 😊❤
In that era we listened to all genre's. I'll be listening to them this week. Classic
Young man your so right about everything you said. And we are so blessed that this was our music. Beegees are icons. No voices ever like theirs.
Absolutely ❤ The Bed Gees. Definitely their natural voices.
Just to give you an idea... I'm 59 now, and I was just a little too young to fully appreciate them back in the day. I truly love them now. Nothing in the world like these three brothers harmonizing so naturally and beautifully.
So happy this popped up in your recommended! The BeeGee’s are AWESOME! I hope you listen to the rest of their songs! There’s only one living BeeGee still with! It’s Barry…the one who moved you without even saying any words!! ❤
I'm 56 and grew up with the BeeGees. They were AMAZING! Now you see why we hate most of your generation's music. We had the best.
They made absolutely “gorgeous” music!! Nobody can ever match them and their pure talent!! ❤❤❤
BEE GEEs the BOMB!!! They are so good, classics REAL MUSIC, REAL Singing. I am so glad that you took the time to listen , share and appreciate this song/video.
I am 73 ... These guys still speak to my spirit. We were blessed with their music in our day. Their words and melodies had wings.... ❤
They perfected falsetto voices as male singers that enabled their range to peak off the scales. Brothers... Play 'Guilty' with the Bee gees', Barry on lead and Barbara Streisand. The music began dying decades ago...
You are cool. I'm 68 our youth Perhaps innocent and then things changed and we awakened, and became aware. The music reflected our changing times.❤
No autotune just beautiful falsettos love the Bee Gees.
Absolutely their real voices, you're right from the 70's and they were popular with black and white folks and all their songs are very beautiful ❤❤
No filters this is the 70's and 80's. This was when the greatest music ever was written!!!
In the 70’s the Bee Gees considered themselves an R&B group… they ventured into pop, soft rock in the later decades- very versatile group and the very best in my opinion….the brothers Gibb.
You - young man, are a breath of fresh air! I pray for your generation - they need young men like you and so do we! I am 60 and still listen to them. I cry many times when I hear certain songs. Keep searching music from them and other artists from the 70’s and 80’s. Bless you❤️
I so LOVE how you're loving this . There's hope for your generation loving this . Bring it Back . Make it popular again. Thats the 70's baby
I grew up with the Bee Gees. They are Australian and moved to America. They are brothers and sadly 2 have passed away. Our generation had the BEST music. Real music.
Sorry, no. From Manchester United Kingdom. Known as Britain's first family if music. They were here most of their lives but flitted back and forward to the US. But all had their main homes in the UK
Sorry no. They emigrated to Australia and this is where their career started and was built. Not in UK. First appeared on our Bandstand as the Gibb brothers.
I'm 63 and grew up w them. Hit after hit after hit. Never gonna see the likes of these brothers again. 70's all the way. Do yourself a treat and listen to more of them. Awesome music
I’ve got to say that this is one of the greatest reactions that I have seen…
Glad u r enjoying our music! Share with ur special love!
I was a teen when they and their brother Andy Gibbs made it big. God they had a pure talent. My mother was even a huge fan.
I grew up listening to the Bee Gees. I still love their sound to this day.
It was talent. Pure and simple talent
I could hear this song a million times and never get tired of it... reverence here, man...
Sir , you said well when you said , we was blessed to have and to grow up listening to this type of music… music with substance. You also said something very moving that” this song make you feel like everything is gonna be all right. “This song is mesmerizing. The Bee Gees will make you wanna do right
😆😆😆. I sincerely feel sorry for people who missed these eras of the 60s and 70s and 80s . I try to expose my niece and younger friends to music from different eras so that they know some history…. Different eras of music are a treasure chest, They have always been appreciated and still there to be discovered. I’m glad you share our opinion and get to appreciate what we have appreciated all these years!!!
We used to slow dance to this song in the 70s.
No auto tune, no filters…just talent.
I'm a gen x. BeeGees have always been and forever will be my favorite band
Love is special when it’s exclusive. God knew what he was talking about in the Bible.
I’m 52. The Bee Gees were my first 8 track tape when I was about 10. They are awesome!!! I ❤your reaction!!!!
Welcome in the Univers of the Bee Gees. I grow up with the best Group ever. Nobody can switch there Voices like the Bee Gees. They had so many Songs. And every Song is a surprice. Everybody knows the Song Staying Alive. But not everybody knows its a Song from the Bee Gees. Barrys falsetto is not from this Planet. I love it ❤❤❤
The Bee Gees are brothers. They write there songs. Berry Gibb is in the middle. His twin beothers are Robin on his right, and Maurice on the left. They had another brother Andy Gibb who was also famous, who died very young. Both twins are deceased.
The Bee Gees were considered a pop band, a back in the day pop band. The era I am from.
Bee gees were awsome.. that was the first album I bought.. Great music!!!!
This group considered themselves song writers, but singing just "sort of went along with it". They were the colossus of the industry spanning 40 years of number one hits. Artists knew that if they got their hands on a Bee Gee song, chances were it would go gold or platinum. Check out the groups and artists they wrote for too. This song is one they wrote for charity (if I remember right; UNICEF) Royalties on this have made the charity millions. They wrote for many different genera's. I feel blessed to have been here for all of them.
Bee Gees and my husband and I just celebrated 48 years of marriage. These boys had the love sounds to make you feel the connection and want to stay in it. Of course, God had to be in the center of our marriage or it would have never worked out. Marriage isn't easy but it's worth it!
I SO enjoyed you enjoying the BeeGees!!!
No, this was recorded i 1978, released I believe in early 1979. No auto-tune. That didn't come along until the late 1990s. No auto tune, no pitch correct. Just brilliant talent.
this is when music was real and pure.
No autotune just talent
Their all brothers. I think only one of them is still alive.
63 yo woman wayching from Mobile, AL. Just SUBSCRIBED-- after listening to you less than a minute! You're a precious, Godly young man with a Great head on your shoulders & kindness in your ❤! It radiates thru your EYES, your smile & your words. The Bee Gees wrote the soundtrack for Saturday Night Fever, one of the most epic movies of all time! These memories made me very happy! THANK You & God Bless You.
Love you Barry. Beautiful song.
On target here.. I am a GenX and proud to say this song was released in 1978 the year I was born
No auto tune- all natural talent
This song is my freaking favorite... I'm a 70s baby
Boomer here, 1978 release. The year my wife and I really started dating. Glad you appreciate the music.
Barry, Maurice and Robin are LEGEND. So special. I hope you listen to the REST of their music! Almost ALL of their music was incredible.😊🤣☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ Yes. Boomer here. These guys as our soundtrack was golden. So much good music from those days every direction you looked. Real instruments. I hope you and your friends investigate it. Don't stop here or now!
You are such a romantic! Never change. You will find someone who will appreciate and love that part of you. Oh, and no auto tune. They are the real deal.
Bee Gees - Fanny Be Tender ❤️
6:52 Oh trust me, girls do the same thing! I’m so happy to see this. I’m Gen X and I loved The Bee Gees when I was a kid. Lol I had a crush on Barry Gibb (probably more like a crush on his voice).
The 70s is Gen X, Us Bommers were born between 1946-1964, so we were teens/young adults when The Bee Gees became famous though they started in the early 60s.
❤ the Bee Gees
Three brothers, one mic, no auto tune, live musicians, live singers, pure talent!
Exactly, could not say it better or more succinctly.
Auto Tune was invented in 1997
They were even better acapella. They'd been harmonizing in the house since they came from the womb.
...and they wrote their own songs!
Beautiful times when music was REAL HEART felt true music without beef of grudges or autotune
What a delightful young man. I'm 73years old and you give me hope for the future.❤❤
I totally agree with you. This young brother is a breath of fresh air!❤
You must have had amazing parents! My oldest daughter is just shy of 40 and her name is also Kaylee ❤. I thought I had an original :) it was unique to us for years then all of a sudden caught fire. Blessings 💞. Oh and great job young man! You picked up a new sub 🎉
My sentiments exactly. He gives me hope. Delightful. Entertaining.
A young man with an open mind and a loving romantic heart. You are a treasure young man.
I agree!
Now you see why people who grew up with this quality of music can't stand what passes for music these days❤
I am in my 30s and I can't stand it either... My mom raised me on real music and everything else is just terrible... Why do you think it isn't good anymore
Absolutely! I cannot handle today’s music. It’s awful.
There is great music today also if you are open minded.
@@kendals3833 The destroyers are out to destroy everything good and everything that makes life enjoyable. Everything. Don't support them; in everything you do, figure out how not to support the destroyers & how to support what feeds real joy. ❤
haha... I see... That makes sense!!! I found out that real joy only came when I met Jesus last year... Amen to you!@@kdbaxter
Not auto tune... but pure falsetto. They truly mastered it.
Yes, indeed. They truly did.
And everyone listening was higher than a kite
No … not everyone … 😊
I'm a 63 year old British white man and I just want to say..................BRAVO to your fantastic reaction to the Bee Gees and you are so correct, NO AUTO TUNE! just pure talent when you had to rely on your God given gift. Keep going and I will be supporting you and spreading the word
We had the best music ever in the 70's. That was just them singing.
Janis Joplin in the late 60's. She could blow the mind out into the universe!
The sixties also had great music without all the special effects they use these days
I Miss Our Music I was born in 1961. I Miss Our Culture
Music from the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's is THE music!
I was so blessed to be a performer all through the best years...I loved singing all those songs...funny thing....I still get to sing those songs because I live in Florida...people here still love to hear these songs
WOW...A young MAN who can see the beauty of cross generational music and YOU said it....this is love music.
67yr old white man who still has rhythm in his body.... Thank you for reminding me of good things of the past.
WOW 😳 and what a beautiful young man is this 💖😮
A Gen Z who’s awake and aware. Kudos to you, young man!
Glad you enjoy the music of the Boomer years. It was a bit of a golden time.
@@Lou3788❤❤
Sweetheart, the Bee Gees are one of the Most Greatest Sounding Group Ever!!! I am an African-American Woman in my upper years. I was crazy about them then and I still am! I saw them perform live twice
Please listen to More of their songs especially, How Deep Is Your Love!
❤❤❤
So happy that you are open to experiencing different genres of music!
I love all of their songs but I think my fave is Massachusetts
How deep is your love is also my fav! ❤
Any Bee Gees song is my favorite. ❤
Oakland Colosseum 1979!
I am also a woman in my upper years. :) I still love the Bee Gees. I love your reaction.
Hey young man, I am an African American female “boomer” and not only did we have tons of wonderful music in all genres to listen to, the music behind the vocals was all played on real instruments. Keep listening, keep learning, most of all enjoy, real music is timeless and can be inspirational, fun, soulful, whatever you want or need.
We had it so good
We really did...
We heard true music with so much talent
I don't understand why people feel the need to put up their race and their gender when it comes to this song like I get everybody on here thinks that this song helped to change racial barriers I really don't believe that it did because we had so much more better artists back in the day especially Soul musicians in particular Miles Davis BB King people like that changed the course of music as we know it but I don't think it matters on a white or black person or any other color turning on the radio back in the day and listening to music I just don't understand why people are bringing race into it what color you are or if you're a man or a woman it doesn't matter it's music it's always been the same it brings people together no matter who they are or what color they are it's music everybody loves to Groove Get down whatever but I really wish y'all would stop putting up your race card and how old you are and if your male or female it doesn't matter the only thing that matters is the music...
And recordings were analog, not digital!
No Auto-Tune.
No Pro-Tools.
No Double Tracking.
Live.
All talent.
All talent.
Boomer here. 1960's/70's. This is raw music. No filters. No auto tunes. Just REAL voice.❤❤❤❤
This boomer agrees with you!
A boomer here.when we had the absolutely greatest love songs
My older brother had a "Garage Band". Just a couple of guys from school who banged around on musical instruments and sang until they sounded good enough to play at a local school dance or a local Teen Center.
Real, voices, real talent, real instruments, real everything.
he never heard a falsetto man sing before
BeeGee’s music is timeless. Does not matter which generation you are. Listen to their music and you will love everything you hear. I am 78 years old, my daughter is 52, my granddaughter is 24 and we all are huge fans.
I still remember going into my sister's room after they left for school and listening to their albums. Beatles, Bee Gees, the Rascals, etc. It's funny how those first memories of this music has stayed with me all my life.
I'm 65 its a 70s music
❤
Im 65 & we didnt realizehow we were living the best life in the US that there would be. From music to cars to jobs, it was a beautiful existence. 😢sad what it is today. You did a great job talking about life.
We were so blessed...streets were safe, music and cars were fabulous...prices were unbelievably less...$20 for four bags of groceries...decent wages... $400 per week...you could buy a used car for $300...I did and you could actually repair your cars then. I was raised in MOTOWN, when they were still there. Everyone worked for auto industry for decent wages
Soooo true !!!!
You are absolutely correct. I grew up in the 60’s and 70’s and we had the best life and music.
Im glad you are tasting of the best music ever recorded. ❤❤❤
I'm 63 AMEN!!!!
Nope, NO AUTO TUNE, that's his actual voice and their harmonies are beautiful. You described this perfectly.
And a one take performance
😂 kind of sad, right....... but I loved how he thoroughly enjoyed the song❤
No autotune, just pure talent from the greatest group EVER!
Just a really big studio.
Good loving music of the 60s & 70s
One of the greatest groups, there are others just as good.
Yes Yes Yes
El mejor, sí que sí.
I’m a 72 YO woman and seeing your reaction was epic. They were the greatest…still gives me chills to hear that song.
Keep listening to the Classics, learning about them and spreading the word about the great music some of us grew up with. I'm 50 yes old but my 3 sisters would blast music like this on the weekend (Air Supply, EWF, Chicago) and my 2 Brothers blasted Eagles, Boston, Scorpions... the list is endless. Go down the rabbit hole and dig up what classics have to offer & teach. I'm truly happy by your reaction. My best to you...
I agree with your comments. Great memories of dancing to that song. Very romantic back then.
Bringing back great memories! A time of life when all we had to worry abt was our dreams and we thought they were possible!
Watch Saturday Night Fever!!! It was a great time to be alive!!!
Amen sister!!!! ❤ 😘
I'm 53 and a black woman! I'm still rocking this in 2024! No auto tune!❤
I'm 65 doing the same thing!
Peace-out 🌎💕✨️
Yeah, me too. I love the music from back in the day. No Auto-tune, just raw talent. Nobody cared about their looks, race, gender. We just cared about how the music made us feel.
You made a lot of Gen Xers and Boomers happy with this blast from the past! The Bee Gees were such a phenomenon! Glad you enjoyed!
Try roller skating to The Bee Gees, it will change your LIFE! 🛼🛼
I roller skated to this album in my basement when I was 6. In 1979
The best days ever!
I remember those days!
Amazing! Thank you for the memories. Friday night at the rink, holding hands, round after round to the Bee Gees.
Lol.... so true!
This was back when artists actually had talent. No auto tune - just talent.
❤as soon as he hit the play button I got goosebumps. I grew up on this song, have listened to it hundreds and hundreds of times and yet it still gives me chills.
They go a bit far.
Like, yeah dude...we know we're old. We all went to kindergarten with jesus!
WTF is your point?😅😅😅
Barry Gibb and his beautiful wife, Linda, have been married for 53 years, will be 54 in September, and have 5 children. They are such an inspiration!
Yes mam. I watched his documentary that was aired and he talked of his love for his wife so sweetly. He's the only one still alive.
@@user-by9pj4ut5v That’s so nice.
He has to be older than that. Andy was my age and he was the younger brother. Barry was born in 1946 - so he will be 78 this year.

I'm also 65 years old and feel sorry for the ones that missed this musical era. What a great musical ride we had.. ❤❤
An era of discovery and adventure in the music world. What a time to be growing into adulthood.
We were boessed to grow up with music!
64yrs old and have said so many times what you just said !
We did! From the BeeGees to Jimi Hendrix to the Grateful Dead and CSNY and Janis Joplin and Ike and Tina Turner and the Jackson 5 and Sly and the Family Stone-- and so much more. Whole lotta creativity and moving through musical barriers, marking new musical territory. I think it's cool that rap and hiphop have brought back poetry, but they're not lyrical-- I think it's interesting how this younger guy gets the power of lyrical, and live, and that makes me appreciate it more myself.
I think the 70’s had the best music in all the different genres across the board!
A thousand 👍🏻 to you young man. You broke my heart.
This is from my generation, the 70’s. You opened my eyes to what this generation is missing and I had failed to understand.
So glad you found this, and so glad you shared from your heart.
Understanding my grandchildren at a different level. Now I know what to share.
Thank you so much from this 72 y/o woman. My husband and I (getting ready to celebrate our 54th anniversary) listened together, I told him, “You HAVE to hear this! It’s breaking my heart.” Never realized how much I was taking for granted. You have humbled me.
Much love to you young man.
Blessings ❤
Sweet comment. I’m Gen X, borderline boomer/x husband with Gen Z kids. You’re so right.
Yes, I feel the same… I took good music like this for granted. I was a mere little girl…
Props to this young man! Such a great video! Thank you!
@@bizcoachclaire2998Props are objects used in the theatre.
My thoughts exactly. I understand this generation better now. Definitely will be sharing music from the 70’s with my granddaughter.
You're right. It's Boomers' music. But Gen X, the forgotten generation, heard it when we were little kids and many of us grew up to love it too.
Yes! We grew up with a variety of music and loved it.
Yup, my precious Daddy introduced me to the BeeGees when I was very little and I was INSTANTLY hooked! Sentimental music, some of the very best. Here to agree, it’s infiltrated our generation too. HUGE fan, disco and that era can never be replicated. This is my music, I claim it too… ‘87 baby.
Fact!
Gen X is not the forgotten generation, were the last great generation!!!!
Gen X here and 100% agree. I grew up listening to my parents 8 tracks and vinyl. Anyone remember the Solid Gold Hits? In Canada (maybe US too?), gas stations used to give out cassettes of hits whenever we filled our tank. I had a whole collection as a kid. Lol
Gen X here. I know you said you don’t have music like this, but what you need to realize is music is forever. Our music is your music, too. Keep discovering, and enjoy. Our lifestyle can be your lifestyle, too. 😊
Very true. I’m 51. My kids are his generation. And they know The Bee Gees and other classics. I made sure they did. Since they were little.
WHAT THIS GUY SAID!
❤
Early GenX here, the Bee Gees were the soundtrack of childhood, which never leaves you. Their music was the anchor of the film Saturday Night Fever w/John Travolta about the disco scene in New York which wasn't made til '78 and with their theme song for the musical Grease later on w/Tavolta they endured in the public consciousness deep into GenX formation, then of course as teens we rebelled against it, but still ove them.😅 They crossed genres of pop, soul, disco, & rock, helping create a soft rock genre behind them. Thx for the trip!
💯 52 here, I was raised with music from decades before, to know where I came from and where I'm going! Music is eternal, and it's not just about what they have on Spotify that matters. Many parents are dying a good job exposing their kids to art and music, but many are not, it's sad 😢 BeeGees were the icons of Disco.❤
when a young man says thats beautiful ,your a rare beautiful soul..the bee gees do sound beautiful.
They were one of the best. I am a 64 yr old woman who adore these brothers. Sadly there only 1 left. They were a gift in the 70s. No “auto-tunes.”. BTW, you are such a precious person, so much sage thoughts beyond your age.
My thoughts exactly on this wise young man!❤
I’m a Boomer. The BeeGees were one of my favorite groups. I’ve been married 45 years. This was from the 70’s. You had to have real talent back then. This was passion for your music.
This is their real voices. You know they are brothers. They were around in the 70's and 80's. They did disco in the 80's. They were everywhere. None of that fake stuff we have today.
They've been singing since the early 60s, and are so much more than just disco. Look up New York Mining Disaster. Look up Children of the World. Look up Love So Right. Yes, they are certainly so talented and we were so lucky to grow up with them! Let their music live on!💕
I hate to say this but disco sort of ended by 80... So no they did not do disco in the '80s. Guess you're sort of had to be there to know
They started in the 60s with The British Invasion. Disco happened in the 70s. The Beegees exploded with disco. Get it straight. Disco was way over by the 80s.. this is considered as part of the disco genre… after they adopted the soprano voices -which was not what they did in the 60s.
Amen.
Boomer here. That right there is God given talent. No auto tune, no filters, just pure voices. Yes, we had the 60’s and 70’s music and there’s never been a better time musically.
Agree x
Agree😊
Yes & thru the 80's blues n rock! Excellent music back then. Definitely my Generation. Yes it's their natural tone.❤
I agree 100%!!

The "youngins" may not even know what roller rinks were all about....holding hands...couples' skating...groovin' on roller slates...LOL
I am 62 years old and I grew up listening to The Bee Gees… pure talent, pure soul….❤️❤️

Me too! 62 and these guys were on top when I was in high school. Love it.
I am so spoiled!! This is my generation of music. I actually thought this stuff was normal back then. Only as I got older did I realize just how epic our music really was.❤
Yes! We never imagined that we were living in one of the greatest eras of music!
Love this stuff, but the 50s was THE best time for music…..and the rest is history.
Epic, that's the word I was looking for! They were awesome, and so was our era!
