Love this video, not instructional, just go for it. Should have titled it $20k in 20 min. Great job!!!, and make more like this, if you want you can use my Gladiator.
That was some serious bling! I can top that! I had to get a new engine installed in my 2020 Rubicon! I was 1600 miles over the warranty, fortunately, Jeep is picking up 70% and I will be paying for 30%! Haha! Awesome video Eddie!😎👍
Once again you amazed me with your install. Absolutely crazy. Now I have to attempt to add some bling as well! Thanks for the video it was fun to watch!
Now thats a torque wrench holy cow. 😂 just did my front uppers today not this brand but applying anti seize didn’t even dawn on me. I know what I’m doing this weekend thats a great tip. Thanks
LOL - bigger makes it easier to get to really high torque. Antiseize isn't necessary but it will help to make it easier to make adjustments in the future if it's needed.
I've been a subscriber for years now and I love all your builds and adventures, I've got a Gladiator and I've been working on it for a while little at a time, making upgrades slowly but surely, keep up the Great work and Marry Christmas
Nice, I actually just installed those endlinks for the rear of my Mojave. Had to order the longest size they offer. Also opted for Evo's endlink support bracket. My Apex disconnects came in today, so cant wait to throw them on!! I was actually looking for some type of install video on these to make sure what orientation the spacers were, but there wasnt any. I shoulda waited a day. 😂
@wayalife haha no worries bud. Alot of your other videos have helped me out tremendously and I seriously cant thank you enough! Love your builds and channel. Hope to run into you someday, but with me in Michigan, thats a long shot!! 😆
Haha, first 1/2 of this video was watching you install perfectly useless upgrades! Still fun though. Love your production/editing quality and music choices.
Awesome Video Eddie and Cindy… Bling City for sure!… I also noticed You got Never Seize on your Fingers… You are now Infected, and it is going to Spread everywhere ! 🤔😂👍
LOL - I try really hard to be careful not to touch it anymore than I can and always keep a rag handy to wipe up my hands or anything it gets on and as soon as possible.
I have those shocks too. Im curious what rebound and compression you find to your driving style. If i remember im 10 clicke up front both rebound and compression and 12 in the rear.
We've been running them on our 392 since they first came out and have found it really depends on the Jeep, how much weight you have on it and how you need them to perform. On our 392, we're currently running 8/10 up front and 10/10 on the rear. On this Gladiator, we're running 10/10 up front and 10/12 in the rear. But, I should note, that changes depending on what we're doing.
You can reach a few of them but for the others, you need to put your frame rails on jack stands, remove your wheels and then droop out your axle. That will give you access to the hardest ones to get too.
What I like about Ohlins is that they allow you to adjust compression AND rebound AND separately. This allows you to really dial in your ride to how you want. Also, unlike other shocks that go from a stiff setting to a stiffer and stiffest, Ohlins starts out on the firm side and then allows you to soften it up and by a lot. This makes for a much better daily drive.
Whats the diameter on thise bug boys i want to upgrade my evo long arm and im not sure if i should go 2” or 2-1/4” aluminum links for clearance purposes but if these are over 2” i should be good
Does your Wheels match the Centre Bore Hub lip? Cause mine does not😢 there is a gap.( Lug Centric). Is it something to worry about about and get a hub rings???!!
Mine do but it really isn't that big of a deal if your wheels are lug centric. Just make sure to install them carefully in a star pattern like you should with any wheel.
At the end of the installation, what was your net gain or loss in total weight of the installation? Seems like every upgrade done to a wrangler or a gladiator always adds poundage. Lots of it. Since your channel is mostly all about modifications done to your vehicles, do you ever start off with a day one scale weight and record how it changes over time as you add, remove and change stuff around? I bet your gladiator is now significantly heavier than the day you brought it home from the dealer.
I'm curious if the engineers and their infinite wisdom considered the dissimilar metal corrosion that they're going to have by wrapping that aluminum control arm with carbon steel. I would like to see what they're going to look like in about three years.
I realize you're trying to sound smart here but all the steel hardware and components are zinc plated. From experience, I can tell you that the two will do just fine especially if you don't live in the rust belt. If you do, nothing survives for long.
@ Jimmy Christmas!!!! That’s rad and expensive. I know they will kick ass though; let’s see some action videos of this beast hitting some whoops and stuff
Bling is an understatement, those shocks are absolutely ridiculous🙌🏻
They really are sweet too 👍
LOL - yes they are
That's part of the appeal
Love this video, not instructional, just go for it. Should have titled it $20k in 20 min.
Great job!!!, and make more like this, if you want you can use my Gladiator.

Glad you enjoyed the video. Hopefully, it gives you some ideas for your build. 😎
Oh man is so amazing having all the necessary tools at hand amazing as always
Having the right tools makes all the difference :)
I have the Ohlins shocks on my 2023 392. Best upgrade ever! Now I’ve got to have the sway bar links too!
Nice!
Now thats a torque wrench holy cow. 😂 just did my front uppers today not this brand but applying anti seize didn’t even dawn on me. I know what I’m doing this weekend thats a great tip. Thanks

Man! I love your videos and have learned so much as I am a new Jeep 392 owner. Thank you! ❤
Thanks for watching! Glad you're enjoying the videos 😎
Great job!
Glad you liked it!
Blinged out upgrades on upgrades Eddie...wicked!
Glad you like what you see 😎

Very nice dude 👌
Thanks man! Glad you like it.
Great to see another video from you guys Beautiful control arms and shocks🤤🤤
Glad you like them!
looks like a crazy amount of drive axle binding at full droop!
Yup, thanks to big travel and stupid factory Gladiator control arm geometry.
Great video! Those shocks are beautiful.
They sure are. Even better that they perform well too 😎
Awesome!!! You make it looks so easy
Glad you think so! 😎
Beautiful bling!
Thank you! Glad you like what you're seeing 😎
I really was expecting you to turn around with anti seize on your face! I never get lucky with that stuff! Lol
🤣
Love all the anodized gold!
Awesome :)
Speedy installation video, but still learned a lot. 🤙🏼
LOL - awesome, glad to hear it!
Ohlin gives you some nice Reservoir holders for the front shocks.
Ohlins really does a great job with all their parts.
Your bin must be a good place to look for spares… 😂😂😂😂. Awesome staff dude!
LOL - glad you like what you're seeing.
Love the video thank you so much for sharing.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it! 😎
I live in the rust belt... so... aluminum & steel plus salt is definitely a no go, lol. Those Ohlins tho! 😍
LOL - to be fair, everything in the rust belt goes to poop. That said, the shanks are zinc plated and so that should help.
@@wayalife Facts. Was thinking of the threads of the aluminum control arms with the steel joint later on down the road. The Ohlins should be fine.
Antiseize helps, got some for marine applications and it absolutely makes a difference!

My Apex disconnects came in today, so cant wait to throw them on!! I was actually looking for some type of install video on these to make sure what orientation the spacers were, but there wasnt any. LOL - sorry we didn't get this up a day sooner.
@wayalife haha no worries bud. Alot of your other videos have helped me out tremendously and I seriously cant thank you enough! Love your builds and channel. Hope to run into you someday, but with me in Michigan, thats a long shot!! 😆
Cool and it's not like we've never wheeled up in Michigan before. Love Drummond Island 👍
@@wayalife id really like to make it down your way as well sometime!
Bling, Bling, Love them Ohlins!!
🤣 Too funny and yes, the Ohlins are awesome
Awesome video! Loved it, but maybe not as much as the Olivias, Emily and Sophia. 😂 Those control arms are sweet!
LOL - too funny
Wayalifes bolts always come of so easy. Then again they are never on for very long lol.😂
LOL - too funny
Those control arms look amazing!!!!! Can I have your old ones? hahaha
That does look sweet!
Awesome! Glad you like what you see 😎
That is bad ass!😮
Glad you like what you see 😎
That all looks really good and if you need a place to store all those spare parts my Jeep would love to store them for you. 😂😂😂
As if I couldn’t spot you around town already - it should be even easier now 😂
LOL - too funny
So nice n tidy!!
LOL - I try really hard 😎
Good video , thanks
Glad you liked it!
Hey wayalife I'm planning on coming out to moab in next July it would be awesome to wheel with you 💯...as always love the channel.
Sorry, I don't typically head out to Moab in the middle of summer. Way too hot for me.
Super 🤩🤩🤩
Thank you 🤗
YES 🤘😁
COOL STUFF that's like REALLY COOL and not just, cheap cool
😎👍
LOL - oh no, nothing cheap about any of this stuff and it really is all cool 😎
Haha, first 1/2 of this video was watching you install perfectly useless upgrades! Still fun though. Love your production/editing quality and music choices.
LOL - glad you enjoy our videos.
Always impressed
Thank you :)
Awesome Outstanding job thanks
Glad you enjoyed it 😎
Awesome Video Eddie and Cindy… Bling City for sure!… I also noticed You got Never Seize on your Fingers… You are now Infected, and it is going to Spread everywhere ! 🤔😂👍
LOL - truth! And, glad you enjoyed the video.
I want to bring my Gladiator over and let you do all this to mine lol
LOL - this is something you can totally do yourself 👍
Sweet ! Not8ng like a SEMA'D Jeep...
Thx Eddie
LOL - glad you're liking what you're seeing 😎
I'm finding less reasons to get a '24 Tacoma, the Gladiator just looks like too much fun!
Tacomas are nice trucks but there really is a lot to love about a Gladiator.
Curious as to what you do with your old parts? Those old control arms still looks pretty good
What size the lift on the gladiator? It looks amazing
EVO 4.5" lift
Those things look crazy and will probably outlast the jeep 😊❤
LOL - you could be right
Yes!
Ok 👌 C'est très bien de faire le Tuto en français ❤❤❤j'adore merci 😊😊❤
Awesome! Glad to see you enjoyed the video 😎
Very interesting as always, will you please let us know what you think of those shocks when you can? Thanks!
Oh, we've been running them on our 392 for over a year now and love them enough that we wanted them for this Gladiator.
I know it's going to bling bling
LOL
Miss the short dog videos at the end but all in all another great video.
Ya know, it's been a while. I'll have to try and get some Ripley in the next one.
Me to the wife Babe: Look at the BadAss Evo control arms...
Wife: You're silly...
Me: I'm silly as shit ordering my Christmas gift
🤣😂🤣
LOL - awesome 👍
Looking great what are you doing with the take off parts because my gladiator would like them lol Happy Holidays
Wait, Eddie, how do you apply anti-seize without getting it all over EVERYTHING? Including hands, shirt, pants, face, ear, shoes, etc.
LOL - I try really hard to be careful not to touch it anymore than I can and always keep a rag handy to wipe up my hands or anything it gets on and as soon as possible.

Hello I was wondering if actuators are added it a sport gladiator and add the passive door handle but not the power lock buttons.
Sorry, not sure if I know the answer to that question.
Very nice. Curious if the arms felt lighter or heavier when you were installing them than the ones you took off?
Honestly, they felt about the same. The steel arms are tubes so I think the billet which are solid kinda make up the difference.
how can you hit the Zerk fittings after install???
You can reach a few of them but for the others, you need to put your frame rails on jack stands, remove your wheels and then droop out your axle. That will give you access to the hardest ones to get too.
Very cool video!!
The shocks you installed, how do you rate against Fox and the other one, brain fart?
What I like about Ohlins is that they allow you to adjust compression AND rebound AND separately. This allows you to really dial in your ride to how you want. Also, unlike other shocks that go from a stiff setting to a stiffer and stiffest, Ohlins starts out on the firm side and then allows you to soften it up and by a lot. Cha ching 💸💸💸💸💸
Oh yeah - BIG TIME cha ching 🤪

LOL - I'm sure it is heavier and to be completely honest, I've never given it or any of the 8 other Jeeps that I still own much thought.
Will those ohlins work with long arm kit from metal cloak?
I suppose it depends on how much lift it provides. Otherwise, these are just shocks.
those arms are crazy nice looking but betting you need a pretty high budget for them.
Yup, like I say in the video, they cost a very pretty penny.
Hey I’ll take the non-bling parts if they aren’t bling enough for you!! 😅
Can i get your throw away bilsteins and evo lower arms haha.
Are you still planning on engine swapping the gladiator?
Our big Gladiator, yes.
You mention performance but what about durability?
Not sure why any of this stuff wouldn't be durable but from experience using all of it on my other Jeeps, yeah, they hold up great.
EVO ENVY front and rear arms $3000, $3600 for Gold anodized
EVO HD end links $286 front and rear
Ohlins JEV MU00/MU10 $3800
Total -> $7086-$7686
Yup, big money for bling like this.
Why a pinch bolt when one side can't spin?
Because the joint would still rotated on the threads and over time, that will cause them to wear out and loosen up.
you would think those bolts that are threaded all the way would not be as strong as a sholder bolt
Is Bling the name of the jeep now
LOL - nah, still Bandit 😎
I'll take those old shocks off your hands!
Every time I use anti-seize, I end up with it everywhere, including the ceiling 16' above. Weird.
LOL - too funny
Must be nice.
Did you feel the earthquake?
We didn't but then, we were already on our way down to Boulder City when it happened. Hope it wasn't too bad up there.
so strictly 100% for looks.
LOL - but of course 😁
How much are those bad boys
$3000 for the Envy Links, $284 for the sway bar end links and $3790 for the Ohlins shocks.
@ Jimmy Christmas!!!! That’s rad and expensive. I know they will kick ass though; let’s see some action videos of this beast hitting some whoops and stuff
La voz da risa
Drool-worthy parts.
They really are nice :)
