  • I failed to listen to my body and failed to fuel properly for a hike. It was bad news.

I enjoyed listening to your story. Keep up the good work! You’re looking good. This is a drastic weight loss and thank God you listened to your body and stopped when you did.

i’m watching all of your story as i will be having my surgery at blossom Dec 1,21. i hope you’re doing better now that you know what to look for. i worry so much now about my blood sugar going low after surgery. i have been on insulin for quite sometime and trulicity. i am unable to take metformin due to i’m allergic to it. so frustrating the ins and outs of being obese and taking control of our lives to get kicked down over something like this. you’re an amazing story teller and i have enjoyed your journey. you look amazing and keep on pushing through the small setbacks. 🥰🙏🏻💪🏼

Well this is terrifying 😳 I thought by 5 months post op this wouldn’t be happening 😢 do you know how many calories you had that day? Was it super hot outside? I’m 3 days post-op and my biggest fear is that I won’t be able to go on hikes any more.

Hey!! Don't be terrified! I made some major mistakes that day including not fueling properly, it being over 80 degrees, and taking pre-workout beforehand which caused PVCs (heart palpitations) that then in turn caused major anxiety. It was the perfect storm of things, but the main takeaway is to listen to your body, start slow, fuel properly, and if you are caffeine sensitive (like I learned I am), don't take pre-workout with stimulants! Don't worry, you've got this!! I know so many others who didn't/haven't had this problem so just keep doing what you need to do to take care of your body

@@annahadi8645 No worries! Just was confused why my lips mattered (my mom hates my piercing so I get it). You didn't do anything wrong. But definitely try listening instead if you are still interested in the content :) I want my videos to be helpful to everyone considering this process!
