Thanks for the update and sharing. I had DUodenal switch in November but it’s time for my gallbladder to come out. My surgery went so smooth with that and recover was excellent. The hardest part was literally no food for 3-4 weeks. Just liquids and protein shakes and that was a night mare. But my body felt amazing. Once I started eating solids my body was like ‘with!’ and It seems like last 2 months I don’t like anything I eat. My gastric system can’t handle. My gallbladder was diseased before surgery but unfortunately because I didn’t have stones or visilual issue Dr couldn’t remove it insurance wouldn’t cover. it’s been messed up for at least 4 years and the last year before WLS was horrible so I’m ready.

I totally understand! At this point you have to eat what you can without getting sick! Hope they get it out soon! I felt SO much better afterwards!

Yeah no - I’ve had the same exact issues with my gallbladder- I actually walked into the ER septic .... and exactly one month later after gallbladder surgery , I had the SAME ATTACK! it felt like I was going through the same thing except this time - I didn’t have a gallbladder so what was the problem? Well ......there was still baby stones lodged in by the bile duct & that’s why I was having another attack . So if you have This happen again , have them ultrasound that area could be lodged in stones that they couldn’t get out the first time due to swelling /inflammation .. 💝🙏🏼

I think whatever it was passed! Luckily it has never happened since. I'm hoping that if it was a stone felt it passed.
