So proud of your work quality and attention to detail. I'm 74 now and have Tig welding since I was 18. I retired , but still building Mopar trucks as my toys. Go ahead run those tips out the back after notching the bumper. I'm really enjoying your build since I owned a Gen 2 Ram years ago. He very efficient on building...its like a plug and play.
Make sure you have enough fluid in trans or it won’t do anything. I had that problem. Even though the dip stick showed full one more quart and bingo. Good luck brother.

Get a bucket if ice and water and keep cold wet rags in it and cool your welds as you go. Stainless is bad to warp and wet rag cooling will solve your problem. You did a great job. I built a stepside 78 Ram years ago with a 500 cu. inch RB engine with Indy heads. I build the entire exhaust system from 304 stainless including headers and mufflers. It was a real exercise in patience, but well worth it. I just bought a 2015 Ram R/T and have an unlimited budget. I ordered a 4/6 drop kit from IHC so I can use long spring and shock geometry up front. I don't care about drag racing, but want the truck to be fast and fun on the highway. Motor will be 448 NA. Brakes will likely be Wilwood 6 piston frons and 4 piston rears. Exhaust will a Stainless works with cats and quiet mufflers. I searched for a long time to find an R/T with Ramboxes that also matched the Crystal Granite color of my new Limited Ram. I enjoy your blog. You remind me of myself when I was younger.

Nice work on all the vehicles, can’t wait to see this truck completed. I have a VCA edition viper truck I just purchased and it’s been completely built from top to bottom and is turbocharged putting out over 1000 horsepower. Just moved to Florida should be a fun ride !

I got a oem mopar ground effx kit for that rig.
John does that 727 have the provision for the throttle kickdown linkage because without it will not make line pressure.
It’s a manual valve body

@@BoostedMotorsportsI’m sure you will come up with something great! After having a ram with tips that exit behind the wheel, I could not keep them looking nice. Decided to change it to go out the back which is what everyone does. Maybe exit through a roll pan or rear bumper.

Transmission is probably low on fluid being that the speed sensor isn’t in the tail shaft of the trans and probably leaked out

Most definitely going to be faster than a stock dakota rt. You have 100 horsepower and 50 extra ft lb of torque, plus the 5.7 doesn't suffocate itself past 3000 rpm. With the ecu tuning itself, I can see it running about 400 horsepower and 450 torque. Maybe a little more because of the headers.
This will be way faster no comparison
