My favorite is #3. That is a perfect way to mix two hip/hop songs to keep the party moving seamlessly. I also own a ddj 200 and you guys are amazing for using different controllers within the same video to teach the same and similar techniques. I want to dj hiphop and top 40 so this was amazing for me.

i got my first dj set 3 days ago. spend 4h so far on it. watched probably also 4h of youtube (videos about how to dj for beginners over and over again). did a lot of beatmatching already and i was pretty darn good at it. You can also use "echo out" and you dont have to move the fader so quick . In rekordbox it is a "release effect" so it is cooler and make it seemless. number 2 will stop my dance floor. You can use a a famous /useful vocal drop to transitions. I use number 1 a lot. Three i use as well.

For anybody who has this specific dj controller (Ddj sb3, fantastic controller for the price by the way, I would maybe recommend the Ddj 400 to anyone who wants the closest thing to a CDJ for the same price though) you can replicate the fade out in trick #1 by going into the FX fade bank by your cue pads and clicking the third pad (if the top row of pads is considered 1-4 from left to right) 👍🏻 It not only repeats, but also fades the track to silence so you don’t have to worry about bringing the fader down and you can focus on the next track once you’ve clicked the third pad. Be sure to click pause on the track you’ve faded though, because if you switch back to the cues bank, it will undo the fx and abruptly continue playing from where you left off, and if you’re fader is still up, it will come back on out of nowhere, and likely at a bad spot. However, if you simply swap the tracks out, you won’t have to worry, as the next track will be automatically paused and set to the first beat, so you don’t have to worry about anything playing.
