Daken and Logan made peace and bonded not long after Dakens first appearance lol If you recall a good deal of that time Logan and Daken pretended to be mortal enemies to lure and draw out Romulus. Although they have fallen out a couple of times after, the father /son duo have made peace for the long haul.
I'm sure Quenten had enough time to transfer his mind into a new body which is an ability he developed sometime ago
Man they really set the tone with this opening! I'm super interested to see if Solem will play a part considering how brutal this looks like it will be.

I always avoid multiverse characters in storylines, but this is tempting
The body parts arranged into "Happy birthday" would not have been all that, but the part that just puts it over the edge and really makes this extremely messed up is the fact that the first "P" of "Happy" is Aikihori's head and the hair arranged into a "P." That just messes with me.

Kid Omega/Quentin's death here felt senseless. Especially considering there's no resurrection for the foreseeable future. Maybe he has some kind of trick up his sleeve, but if not, were not gonna see him for a long while. Which makes no sense because he just came back after being gone for a long time. And yet we can barely go more than an issue before seeing more of boring characters like Colossus
He does have the collection of bodies without a mind in his room.
Technically...He shouldnt even need the resurrection protocols. He is/was for a time sentient green psionic energy kept in a tube in beast's lab. This was before Krakoa and touched more on Phoenix Endsong. Regardless is getting old indeed.
I get Lavalle is writing Sabertooth. He’s written great Sabertooth stories, but Daken is no push over. And how many times is Omega-Level Quentin Quire going to get killed off?!?
i'm sure that Daken will come back. I mean he's come back from death before. So i have a feeling this could be a reintroduction of Wolverine's Hot Claws. As we haven't seen them as of late. Not to mention, allowing him to have the berserker rage.
Hopefully they bring back Daken though. Or at least bring Wolverine (Laura Kinney) into the picture. Shame we don't see the Wolverines from the alternate universes either.
Until Quentin checks his ego he is never going to be a good Omega but then that is his whole character, he has Omega powers and thinks he is all that, but no Omega mutant has that big of an ego heck most Omega mutants keep there friends close and there enemies closer.

Well, it wasn't old man Phoenix i was talking about. I remember once that Logan basically went into his mind @@fendisaintlaurent4257. Locked some of the Wolverine's in his head up.
It was after he was brought back from the dead after being encased in adamantium. And i believe the hot claws were famous connected to his berserker rage.
Was when Dawn of X (2018) happened. But i can see in the aftermath of the fight between Logan and possible multiple Sabretooths, that they return.
I highly doubt Daken stays dead as there was plenty of him left to regenerate. Add the krakoan medical bay and tech he should be back in fighting form in no time.
Sabertooth never murdered Silverfox. That was an implanted memory courtesy of Aldo Ferro aka Vole. Silverfox turned out to have grown up and chose evil as she had become a high ranking Hydra agant. Creed never raped and killed her at all. Later in that story Vole took control of Creeds mind and made Sabertooth seemingly kill Silverfox. Silverfox was actually hunting team x for awhile with the intention of taking them out real permanent like.
It can be concluded Ferro/Vole may have fabricated the original murder attempt from a mere memory implant he used to entangle Logan, Silver Fox and Creed's uncertain histories while they were all in Weapon X, but it is also possible the first events actually happened then Ferro decided to reenact it in that second encounter to punish Logan by finally actually having Creed kill Silver Fox.
So, while he never murdered her back in the early 1900s, it is assumed Silver Fox survived Creed's actual murder attempt back then; not just that it was all a fabrication from Vole's psychic skills.
That aside, the unlikeliness of three mutants who all happened to be in the same reservation around the same time, each possessing healing/anti-aging abilities and being taken into the same black Ops program later is suspect enough to "reveal" later that something else was going on. We could accept some instinctual gathering of feral mutants (similar to a mating season, where Creed lost out to Logan and started or fueled the animosity) OR we could go as far as, having been gathered up by Weapon X due to their gifts, part of Vole's process/depravity was fabricating a shared past (to give Logan a subliminal emotional focus and Creed a rival). Would be ironic if Logan and Silverfox hadn't even met and the supposed cabin from their past was a prop that was part of Weapon X's previous staging process for memory programming. 🤔 🤷🏽♂️
Or crazier: she was a regular person caught up in their beef and unique mixing of blood (etc.) from both Wolverine and Sabertooth led to her developing a healing factor like werewolf stuff, thus making her a person of interest to Weapon X when Logan and Creed got on their radar.

It may be a 50th anniversary, and the character Logan may be coming up to his 50th anniversary. BUT Logan isn't 50, he's over 100 years old.
I think that it would be interesting if Sabertooth meets Beast there in the North Pole, and they both team up and make deals like Sabertooth gets Wolverine and Beast can have his vengence on the other members of X-Force, and even if Sabertooth and Beast go their separate ways Beast will still gain something like Sabertooth's blood or access to Sabertooth's other things like the ship and/or his small army and/or just other resources that Sabertooth has, and Beast takes it and uses those things for his own gain. I would like to see that. But mostly Beast.

All of this with Wolverine/Sabretooth's hated heated brutal rivalry all started in the First X-Men limited series
I believe the last two issues of this arc will be out in May. We're getting 41-42 this month, 43-44 in February, 45-46 in March, 47-48 in April,, and finally 49-50 in May.

The whole Wolverine clone going Wendigo was cool, but I thought it was bull that they had Hulk kill it so easily and off panel. This Wolverine 41 was a good read, and I'm so down for Sabretooth taring apart Daken. Showing the young pup who is big dog, but I was surprised they killed Daken off though. I'm really hoping they'll explain Logan's birthday, with Sabretooth always hunting him down on his birthday. I mean at the time Sabretooth started attack Logan on his birthday, Logan had no memoires of his past so how would Sabretooth know? Did Romulus tell him, is it a made up birthday so Logan can celebrate the day with his girl? If it is made up Logan would know now cause his had his memoires restored for a long time. So why is X-23 and Daken celebrating it? I keep thinking it's actually Saul's birthday, Saul is the younger brother of Sabretooth. Sabretooth would torture Saul and their sister, even making Saul burn her face. They ran away, but once a year and on Saul's birthday Sabretooth would hunt them down and torture him. Logan killed Saul, but this was back when he was a wild man with no memoires. This is what had Sabretooth first hunt down Logan, and he befriend Logan and waited for a "birthday" to attack. To this day Logan has no clue that Saul was Sabretooth's brother, or that he hooked up with Sabretooth's sister. So again I'm hoping this 10 part story will finally explain it.

Maybe Creed chose a date, but I think even though Wolverine didn't really have a clear set of memories from back then, there are some files on him, and/or interactions before Wolverine was wiped that Creed could have gotten the true date from (or whatever he listed for official purposes). A sicko like Creed doesn't need 100% accuracy to set an annual event by.
Ok first Logans memories were restored at the conclusion of HoX by the Scarlet Witch. He knows his birthday. Second, Sabertooth has always Remembered more than Logan. Third Creeds mother just passed away in recent years when Daken had the Red Right Hand murder her. Creed was having her cared for in a nursing home when it happened. The tricky part is that Creed is older than Logan. Creeds parents are obviously older than Creed so how old would Creeds mother be? Around 200 years old? Creeds mother was only shown to have one other child outside of Creed . A brother whom Creed killed over a slice of pie. This led to the father locking Creed in the cellar and pulling out his fangs and claws. The whole Saul and whatever the sisters name is , is suspect to say the least. I'm still of the opinion that Creed is John Howlett Jr. That was said to be dead as his gravestone was shown at the beginning of that story in Origin. I believe that they sent Creed away once they realized that he was a little animal boy and an overall abomination in the eyes of his mother and Grandfather. It's the only thing that makes any real sense. The Ghost doesn't count as that story is not Canon.
@@fendisaintlaurent4257 Alright then, first Logan regained his memoires years before Krakoa/HoX was even a thing. A Shiva unit was even sent after him because of it. Second Logan is actually older then Victor, with Victor being like a 100 to maybe 120 years old. The fact that Daken was born in 1946 and sent the Red Right Hand to murder Victors mother should farther show you that he is not 200 years old. That is actual about how old Logan is not Victor. Third Victor was shown to have 2 other siblings in 2014's Origin II #2-5. So you can think its suspect if you like but its still canon. Luther, was his older brother and who Victor killed over a piece of pie and appeared in 2009's X-Men; Origin Sabretooth. Clara his sister and Saul his younger brother both appeared in Origin II, plus they were both mentioned by Victor in 2020's Ruins of Ravencroft: Sabretooth. Forth, Victor was originally meant to be Logan's father but that was canceled and that was the end of them being related. Maybe one day Marvel will retcon this, but as it stands they are not related at all. And I don't know what this The Ghost thing is. Either way I'm going by canon events that happened and not what I think just to clear up any confusion of where my info is coming from.

But with Saul and Clara finding him in the woods, some years/decades after he accidently killed Rose, wasn't his memoires gone? Victor is a sicko and doesn't need a full on good reason. But with the introduction of Saul in 2014's Origin II, it gives Victor a damn good reason to hunt down his brothers killer. Not because, but because Saul died without his permission. So he past the buck on to his killer Logan, and Logan has taken Saul's place as someone Victor will torture once a year on his birthday. It might not actual be Saul's birthday, but I think it would be great if all this was revealed openly to Logan.

I get from the 1st appearance Wolverine is 50, but storyline wise, I thought Wolverine was over 100. Maybe I need to read Wolverine origins again, but I've always been under the impression that Wolverine was way older than Captain America. Like early 1900's type ish. Correct me if I'm wrong

Percy has got to go. First he has Beast kill Logan by cutting off his head and then the Wendigo rips him in half. Two things that are not possible in the 616. These two feats are not possible because Logans "entire" skeletal system is laced with Adamantium. This includes his ligaments & tendons. This is why the Silver Samurai was unable to decapitate Logan. Percy's latest atrocity is him having Logan name X-23 as his successor over his true child/son Daken. That's way off base. Daken is nearly 70 years old and has the same training as Logan. He's possibly even more tactical than Logan and has been shown to solo an entire X-squad. X-23 can't compete or compare too that. Her character has about as much personality as a piece of wood and every attempt Marvel has made to force her on us in solo titles has failed miserably lol
