The Krakoa era has really let me appreciate Monet: aka the only woman who can out-Emma Emma Frost.
Although could you imagine if this was the fake Monet, aka the Twins?
We sure haven’t heard from them in a WHILE too. Like the last time anybody even saw the twins was in by way of being in the background early in the Krakoa era
@@devegas4910 And, frankly, I do find their backstory sweet.
That they combine to form the strongest person they know; their sister.
And the fact that, in theory, their fantasy of how strong their sister is will always be stronger than the original.

A cat-masked man and an actual burglar in their home is perfect reason to share hands around and not listen to reason. Then being saddled with two kids for a little bit would be a quirky change of pace for ol' T'Challa. Approximating their sister's telepathy reflexively and resisting Xavier's push through gates is also as good a reason as any why they'd be around.
An aside: Monet herself is fairly logical and a very intelligent person, yes, but she's also saddled with darker Penance impulses, she's a touch petty, AND a thief is alongside T'Challa. There's enough there for her to not follow reason too quickly.

I’d also like that to be the case because Monet was just in Uncanny Avengers.
I also think the twins also have that issue where one has that whole issue that media often has when depicting autism where, when they were fused, “Monet” would go somewhat catatonic when the autistic one took over.
Heck, if T’Challa gets confused, I’d love it if the twins said “don’t worry about it” lol.
Wig. I think Monet is Monet now, but the twins are out in the aether twinning too. She shot up my favourite characters list with Xcorps and putting Warren in his place
Yeah. I’ve always liked Eve’s work. Even though I’m BEGGING for someone to utilize the intergalactic empire and its characters, I do enjoy this book. It’s a palette cleanser in a way

Can we get a VOICES that takes places in one of their galactic cruisers, like all the smart black people have a chat and discuss these new politics please. Storm, Tchalla, Prodigy, Monet, Monica, Riri etcetc
And then some alien detects the collection of energy so we get a lil quick fight too 🕺🏾
I feel like calling T’Challa “Street Level” diminishes the character, am I wrong?
No you are noy, blerd is just a very simple character
The term is meant to describe what he's dealing with not imply a limitation on him. He's literally dealing with threats that require being amongst the people "in the streets" instead of international incidents, invading alien armadas, cosmic entities, or something requiring flying to space.
Still pops over to Avengers HQ to piece up cosmic level threats.
I'm glad you said what you said Blerd, because i miss the old street level crimes & dangers. I think that comics have gone to BIG with all the GOD powers & mega alien's story arcs. It's cool to see comics like this
Eve seems to resolve many conflicts throughout this book in like 2pages. So I’m sure there will be some furniture moving until they come to an understanding.

I'm doing my best to support this run but it seems like the best days of a really good Black Panther run is over

What is it with Comics illustrators and capes? Black Panther with a cape? Edina Mode (Incredibles) has made clear: No capes!!!! 🙂

@@TupocalypseShakur Thanks. Still I think it is time to evolve the character design. Same goes to Superman's outfit with the underwear out. The New 52 costume looked so much better (the new white one as well).
I think the original Black Panther 1 MCU appearance should just be the standard honestly, but I get why they'd wanna switch it up. It's just like so sleek, so perfect, if I was a hero I'd base mine off that and only have a cloak if I'm tryna be stealthy or whatever. Maybe the Hellfire Galas.

How is this run so far? I had mixed feelings about the last volume, parts of it turned me off.
