- Hi Ladies and Gentleman! time for a new fun and interesting video where I'll be talking about my process and techniques when approaching life drawing to create characters using as base the model pose and from imagination.
I worked with a model live when recording this video process / Tutorial, hope you like it and learn something from there! if you have any questions please let me know!

thanks, your art really help my mistakes on drawing legs , and shoulders , the way you start drawing them gives me idea,
show the model in the pose you are working on so that we can appreciate how much you are drawing what you see and how much is your imagination and experience.
Also, lock the focus to the paper before you start so that the auto focus doesn't get confused by your moving hand or body and make it frustrating for your viewers (by that I mean ME)

Wow! You draw so fast!
I really enjoyed the video and would definitely love to see tutorials on drawing characters with foreshortening. Possibly with some with a fist coming at you, both arms sailing backward as the character is running forward, a knee or kick coming at you and just all around foreshortening of the body in different posses.
You should practice the perspective basics if that's something you struggle with. I know it's boring, but it would be the best way to improve your perspective.

When I look at your drawing the process makes perfect sense but when i try to applicate it I can't, it drives me craizy
I'm sure you've heard this a million times but, just keep drawing. It gets better. Just remember to take breaks so you don't get too frustrated. There is a thing called art puberty. Basically, it's a point on your art journey where you improve a lot and everything begins to make sense and you can apply your knowledge. It'll happen. Good luck ^^
How unfair would it be if you WOULD be able to do it right away when he spend years and years practicing to do it.
Nothing to go crazy over u just get better by drawing more.
you can research different approaches and styles of drawing by going to the how to draw section of a local book store and check quickly how they deal with an area you want to improve.

Hello! I dont know if this is a viable option for your camera but (if you arent gonna change the camera angle or something) you should set the focus on Manual and adjust it to be permanently focusing on your sheet of paper! Since you put a bit of your shoulder in front of the camera, it auto focuses itself and the drawing gets all blurry ;c Thank you for uploading this amazing tutorials btw! i love your style and it encourages me to practice hahaha

Those are Carandache pencils really smooth but a little bit expensive but worth it

trying to hold the pencil like on the second drawing feels awkward..wrist is uncomfortable. I wish I could do that though.

It's a very common way for artists to hold a pencil. It's called the overhand grip
