Thank you for this video. It was very informative as you explained your thought process and your approach to this piece. It was a breakthrough to hear (@ around 27 minutes in), you did not like how you had drawn her face and it took you, off and on, about 4 days to correct it. Even more, you was honest and admitted you needed to look for references. This helps us amateur artist to hear that Pros like you still struggle at times with your art. I had assume with all the years I been following you, art would be automatic and easy for you. But I realize it not. Experience helps on to improve their art level. That why you are so good- you keep pushing yourself. Thanks again for sharing!

Tbh my biggest problem is the coloring phase when you start with the values, tho I learned a few tricks from an old video of Artgerm that made me understand how Photoshop fucks over the grey values.If anyone else deals with this issue I'd recommend looking for Artgerm's video about this "problem".It's a video that he was coloring Chun Li if I remember corectly.
I like how informative this video is but what texture brushes you recommend and about how long in detail should you work on character color build.

Man there is an video from you, the first i saw that make me your fan and also wish so much an display to draw, the wacom one i think 16inch? I can't remember for sure. It was 2014 and since them i always am an huge fan of your style and art.
Personally i love so much manga and keep drawing it but i found that my "home" is on pixel art. I do manga but when i do on pixelart its like magic...i can do anything.

Did you colorize your grayscale value layer and then color on a layer above set to multiply? Was the value layer set to normal
