  • I got this Lawn Mower in a package deal of 3 mowers for $60. This is the first one that i am working on. We initially fired it off with carburetor cleaner. Time to clean the Carburetor.

    This was insanely helpful. So long but I ended up needing all the steps lol. I hate that I have to take everything apart just to get to the carburetor but it is what it is. Definitely will get a Briggs next time.

    Tommy, I watched this 2018 video in 2024 and it was a great help. I went down to my barn and cleaned out the carburetor on the same mower as in your video doing the same thing and did everything you showed and it started right up when I was done! Thanks

    Are these PowerMore Honda clones? And if so, how's part compatibility?

    • @tommy-time5240
      @tommy-time5240  17 днів тому +1

      Yes, appear to be Honda Copy Cats. The only thing i see would cross over would be the carburetor.

      @@tommy-time5240 I ended up buying a Honda GX ignition coil for my in-laws 132cc PowerMore and it ALMOST fit. In the end I replaced the wires on the original but I believe the Honda part could've been modified to fit in a pinch.

    Hey Tommy, single mom here. So I’ve been working on this lawnmower a couple times now ran into your video thank God! I put everything back together but the carburetor is leaking gasoline. Do I need to take it apart and re-put it back on or what could be the issue? Spark plug looks good it’s fairly new. I think mine is about a 2020.

    • @tommy-time5240
      @tommy-time5240  4 місяці тому

      yes, the gasket on the fuel bowl is most likely leaking.

      @@tommy-time5240 OK great I’ll take it apart again re-put it back on and see if that helps. Thank you very much.! Video was super informative, and it was exactly what I was looking for

    Interesting, I have never had a opportunity to work on a 132cc OHV engine like this. I have worked on the 139cc Powermore a few times it’s similar except getting the air box off is different and a little bit easier

    I have one of these. It will run for about 2 minutes, and then stall. Does that sound like a carburetor problem?

    Great video. I did as inrusted here, but still no start. Did note the carb bowl was empty. There was no gas. Maybe a clogged line?

    How do you lower the deck I can’t figure it out

    • @tommy-time5240
      @tommy-time5240  4 місяці тому +2

      you have to remove the wheel bolt. 3 holes are pre drilled and you select the hole corresponding to your desired deck height.

    Interesting video on the Chinese machine. I haven't run across one yet, although I do about 1/10th the amount of machines you do!! And yes, be honest, don't steal from the government; they hate the competition!

    Hey, I have been doing tune up's for 3 years, watched hundreds of videos, & yours was a good demo of what not to do. you put 2 broken lines back on, didn't rinse out tank, poor job of spark plug cleaning. you don't have a grinder brush ? I have no idea where air filter is at ,or condition. you did nothing with the oil, or blade. I thought you were going to spill gas every where, the way you poured it. the coil also looked bad. would it have hurt to clean & reset? I hope you're not going to sale it. It;s not ready. heck, I didn't think it would start. Old Retired Guy

      This was just a Carburetor removal and clean. I did not do a full service on the PowerMore. I may in the future if another one crosses my tailgate.
