Went out and worked on the Toro 20333 for a while. Hunkered down kolacaky days weekend town full of people. Saturday leave town to buy 2nd items. It is Sunday will settle down. Get them mowers out and sold.

Nice trade Tommy. Try cleaning the mower with automatic transmission fluid. Any kind will work. I usually ues the older like type F. ATF also is a cleaner. It will shine up a mower real nice.

Sold one the other day. Asked the guy to bring any trade ins he might have. He brought a 2016 Kohler powered Craftsman; said the engine "knocked". I said ok, I'll give you $10.00 for it for parts. Shoved it in the back yard and a few days later went to look at it and the "knocking" turned out to be a loose blade!! Then sold it for a$100.00. Your lady needs to look for a mower in the Chicagoland market; good runners for $50 to $75 all day long. Happy Sunday Tommy.

Say I was going to mention I brought a toro 20333 in. Looks tough. So check oil clean has gas so I pull x2 3rd pull pull back a little again 4th pull. I thought of tommy. Pull the flywheel off of quantum. Sheared flywheel key ended up a nice runner. I remember a tecumseh that gave me a welt

What size wrench did you use to remove those black screws to remove the filter to get to the carburetor?

Hi, Tommy, the front wheel on my Briggs push behind mower broke off when I accidentally bumped the fence. My wheel has a height adjustment that broke off with the wheel. But then I noticed these three holes in the same location as yours. So, after reviewing your video I am wondering if this is an alternate fix when the wheel breaks off. when my wheel broke off, it also left a gaping hole in the middle area of the three holes that you show on yours. I hope this is clear. So, my question, is it possible that the universal bolt will fit into one of these three holes. Ans, also, is it possible that the Briggs& Stratton engineers added these three holes in the event that the wheel breaks off like mine did?

Just restored an identical unit. Had same problems. Missing carb gasket, ultrasonic clean carb and still had surge. I noticed it smooth out if the govenor link was moved back slightly. Sure enough a governor reset and it worked fine. Someone messed with it probably.

Btw, simple fix for rough running that works sometimes is running a bit of seafoam through it.

Pretty sure I have that exact mower in the corner of my yard I need to go through and get running. Too many projects, not enough time. Thanks for the video!

good deal, I just picked up a Craftsman Self-propelled on trade with a new never used bag for $20 off purchase, the only thing wrong was spark plug, ( go figure thats like 2nd time every)

Make sure and check your gaskets on the Honda. Easy to get one with a leak or not installed properly causing issues

Traveled to fix a xmark I worked on a few years ago. Oil leak. The drain has a yellow cap on it twist and pull to drain. Anyway the thing has a 7/8 nut to install it. The engine mount bolts come loose and with the size of nut hits surface worked loose leak empty in 2 weeks. Loosen up engine raise it up get it out replace with 3/8 brass plug tighten engine down can get 13/16 socket on plug success. Few years ago when I put drive motors in the engine was loose then tightened it up. Then went into town picked up a free personal pace and snowblower from my guy. He was cleaning up area. He took a bunch of mowers/blowers to scrap yard. I would have taken some but can't fix them all I am out of space. Have a great day.

I try to pick up any mower that's a Honda or has a Honda engine on it if the price is right. The "Carb Sandwich" on them is a pain, but the little engines are tough and sell well. Good job on getting that one firing again!!

Had a GX 390 leaking oil every where with great compression and only 2 months old new engine It looked funny but it took me 3 days before I realized it had a really small muffler on it, put a used one on off other GX390 and no leaks 😢😢😢 That’s crazy for a new 950.00 engine 😢

I have a big air lift for zero turn but would like to have a small hydraulic lift table for push mowers Seems to be very handy and not hard on my back 😊😊😊
