This is the best tutorial video ive ever seen. i have this exact mower with the exact problem. ive got it for sale for 50.00 on craigslist, but if i dont sell it, i will fix it with this tutorial and then sell it for double what i was asking.
This is exactly what is happening to mine. Regapped the plug and some starter fluid and it runs for a moment. Now, to narrow the focus and clean the tank/fuel line and probably the carb.
Great video! I have the same model and it just cut out mid service. Then it would start and immediately cut out. I followed all your steps and it's like brand new. Thanks buddy!
Hopefully I don't have any issues with my yardmachines mower after sitting all winter. It's been in a warm place and the gas is out. It's a 2022 model so it should be ok.
Thanks so much for your video 📷 I try I clean the way you splain I put every piece the way in Start awesome 👍 I need to test how cut, because I dit before but like 2 minutes after start when off 📴 I let you know how is working this Time
I have this exact same mower. Its only about 2 years old. It starts runs for a second then dies. I've seen several videos all identical to this one and i've followed them exactly and I can get my to start. I took apart the carburetor 3 times by now to make sure I have everything right and cleaned it as best I can. The holes are all clear and the spray goes right through. I changed the spark plug, cleaned the gas tank, and replaced all the fuel with brand new fuel. I have to prime it about 5-6 times for it to start, but then it dies after a couple seconds. It does the exact same thing it was doing before I started working on it. Its driving me crazy. Any idea what I can do? Oh also I cleaned the air filter and tried starting it with and without it.
I've been trying to get my mowers going. The only thing I'm confused on is the hole on the white piece of the carburetor. I can't see to the back of it. Looks kinda like rust. I've picked at it the best I could but can't fully see to the back. In your video, I seen you spray carb cleaner from the bottom and it shot out the top. I was thinking now about taking a really thin drill bit and seeing if I could drill that hole out (below the silver ball). Thoughts on this would be appreciated!
yeah if you spray from the bottom like I do around 04:08 it should come out at the top.. a drill bit should work as long it's small enough to clear the obstruction without making the hole bigger..
Anybody know why start working perfectly for like 5 minutes after that start slow down in make a noise like is missing gas ⛽ like when is run out gas any answers I appreciate
I had the same exact problem, I followed all directions on this video but it still won’t start up , however if I spray starter fluid it runs for a second . I did notice the priming button seems to not tighten up when pumped ,could that be the issue ?
A bad primer should not make the engine stall.. The engine needs fuel, spark and air in order to run.. So if it runs for a second with starting fluid you briefly have all three.. Then you lose one and it dies.. Question is which one are you losing? Could be that you still have a fuel supply issue even though you cleaned everything.. Or, clogged vent on fuel cap could restrict air which could cause stalling also.. And fresh gasoline.. that's a definite must have..

Do you have an ultrasonic cleaner ?😮
no i do not
If it’s ohv AllWAYS check valve lash and adjust it and clean carb plus tank
That’s all it takes on 97% to run

Neat job
What size is the fuel line

FIRST to comment - I could not resist 😁
Yeah you snuck that in before this goes viral..
I have one of these lawn mowers
Hey peanut butter man is that white piece on the side of the carb soppose to be lose?
no it should not be loose
@@tongo117 if it's wiggling does ut mean I have to get a whole new carburetor?
if the mower runs ok with it being loose I wouldn't worry about it.. if it's so loose that it's going to fall off you could glue it back on..
