Alton was such an integral part of my childhood. I love the way he explains WHY we do what we do to achieve the BEST tastes when cooking on Good Eats. He is a big part of why I love making food for others.
Glad to see Alton again. Miss him from Iron Chef and Good Eats. Calm, sassy, reserved, chaotic, and flip flopping from polite to unhinged. What a pleasure.
This was pure entertainment. Alton Brown was chaotically hilarious, into everything, yet also sharing his knowledge of the subject. Absolutely GREAT episode!
I want more Alton, he’s the one that got me into food with Good eats! I didn’t really care about his recipes, but he taught me almost everything I know about techniques and science to how the food is prepared, GOAT
Alton is my favorite celeb! I've met him a few times on his numerous book tours. I showed him a picture once of my son at 6 months old and then again at 18. He's one awesome dude! Good Eats was my favorite show!
Alton Brown has been my hero since I first saw Good Eats as a child and this just reinforces everything about that, the methodical chaos that is Alton Brown cannot be contained!
I grew up watching Alton with my mom and never knew he was a film producer...let alone making a music video for one of our favorite bands! She's been gone since 2017 but she would have her jaw on the floor..same as me! Alton is such a talented, funny, genuine guy! During Covid lockdowns he was making videos with his wife at home cooking. Full of knowledge and wit.
Alton Brown is my hero and unofficial mentor. I started watching Good Eats back in middle or school in the early 00s and have seen every episode at least twice. I've cooked nearly every meal I've eaten the most recent half of my life and use plenty of techniques I learned watching him twenty years ago. One of my favorite people in the world
@ why hate on my comment? I love Alton and watched him from the beginning to his Feasting on Asphalt (he gave up riding motorcycles 😔) to his current work….and you can’t say what you did say “nothing against Ester”
@@DP-jaja It's not "hating" it's showing you where you were mistaken. The fact that you love Alton is unrelated, and I'm not nearly as familiar with him as you are. And finally, if I don't think they had amazing chemistry between them, that says nothing against either one of them individually.
@ precisely….you aren’t that familiar with him as I am and Alton isn’t a bull$hitter and never feigns praise. And Ester while friendly is sometimes cold. But they were genuinely enjoying each other’s company. He was praising her and Ester even hugged him which made him grin. How am I wrong? You are the one who is mistaken.
@@DP-jaja Haha. All that knowledge you are boasting of has nothing to do with what I said. Praising and hugging is not what makes good chemistry in show biz or even UA-cam terms. You are simply becoming extremely defensive because I dared to "challenge" your comment. Talk to your therapist about why that might be.
I used to have my entire DVR back in the day MAXED out with Good Eats. It was like 230 something episodes. I would just watch them over and over, sometimes skipping around and sometimes I'd just go down the list. I watched so much Good Eats I literally used to have dreams of hanging out with Alton and could quote episodes word for word. I even wrote a report on him for my English class. 😆
Alton is a national treasure. The only cooking I do is frying bacon (I’m sure in a non Alton approved manner). Nonetheless I would watch him talking about food any day. Loved the respect between him and Ester. Brightened my evening.
Esther: I don't know if I would do that if I were you... Alton: That's the difference between you and me. Also Alton: I'm the best guest ever. (sip sip sip) Yes you are sir. Yes you are.
What a fun and spicy adventure! Alton Brown's chemistry with Chef Ester Choi is electric, and their playful banter makes this omakase experience truly entertaining. The combination of nostalgia and heat in the dishes is a brilliant tribute to Alton's culinary journey. Can't wait to see how he handles the next spicy challenge! 🌶🔥
Alton Brown has taught me more about cooking than anyone else over the past few decades. I adore the man. My brother hates him because he thinks he's a know-it-all, but that's because I am too... sibling rivalry, LOL. And oh, my surname is Brown also.
growing up with basic cable and being an insomniac, I loved watching good eats late at night!! his little informative notes on things reminds me of that show. love alton's chaos and everything esther made looks so delicious!
Good Eats was the show that got me watching food content. So glad to see Alton over 20 years later on shows I watch today, which he's responsible for getting me hooked on in the first place.
THANK YOU for this!!! AB is one of my favorite PEOPLE on the planet and by a galaxy my most ABSOLUTE FAVORITE food personality on any channel of any eras. I learned more about him today thanks to you. The way that AB fluidly works math & science into food is delicious and I’ve always loved his style. Thanks for showing us more of the AB dimension. UA-cam please add a freakin love it button🤙
Alton is a national treasure, at every level. He is equal parts intelligent, fun, hysterical, snarky, absurd, and innovative, all while being a great host/sidekick/guest. I purchased all of the Good Eats when they were originally available on VHS because I loved how informative and entertaining he was/is: yeah, I am older.
Alton is simultaneously totally controlled and completely chaotic.
Chaotic neutral incarnate.
The man😂
Perfect description. No notes.
So he's a sykopath. Excuse the spelling.
Chaotic neutral
Alton was such an integral part of my childhood. I love the way he explains WHY we do what we do to achieve the BEST tastes when cooking on Good Eats. He is a big part of why I love making food for others.
Same, I loved how he made food scientific, really kept my attention as a teenager, and his quirks were the cherry on top.
Exactly. I loved the little nod to good eats at the beginning
I just wish his show wasn't owned by a cruel uncaring cable network and I could own them all.
I could NOT agree more with this thought.
Alton is my favorite Hot Ones guest of all time, glad you had him back on this channel! He's overdue
😢😢don't Read Myy name)}}}
Agreed, it's no contest for me.
Full agree, his Hot Ones episode is one of those I just go back to when I want a good time. And now we have this.
He took Sean to school that day, it felt like Alton was interviewing Sean. Legend. I still use his recipes.
Ah thanks cuz this dudes funny. I'm bout to watch it after this.
*"The last time I whacked my palate I woke up in Tijuana with no money chained to a bed." - Alton Brown*
That line is an instant Classic.

"I drank 2 martinis before changing the fuel rods in my nuclear reactor" - Alton Brown
Alton Brown was great in this episode. I loved this episode.
8:59 "Does alcohol cancel out the spice or something?" "No. It makes you not care."
The myth, da man, the legend Alton Brown.
It’s the actual truth tho
Alton and Esther being spice buddies is kinda what i needed today.
I really doubt that.
I love seeing Alton unscripted and just enjoying himself with a friend, always imparting something positive.
Glad to see Alton again. Miss him from Iron Chef and Good Eats. Calm, sassy, reserved, chaotic, and flip flopping from polite to unhinged. What a pleasure.
It's why Cutthroat Kitchen was so good.
He comes off as arrogant sometimes but he's funny enough for it to not be irritating.
@@AwesomeFish12 Barely though.
@@RetNemmoc555 He did during Worst Cooks in America, but he's also admitted it was one of the more miserable moments he's had on a show.
The moment of the shots and "this is about shutting you up!" But still with respect. Alton is an entire vibe.
12/10 intro, Alton is a culinary gem, you can tell Esther really enjoyed his company. Can’t wait to see who’s the next guest.
Alton Brown one of my heroes slowly becoming more and more of a villain and I absolutely love it.
Die a hero or live long enough to become the villain......
And yet he’s a villain I root for!
Hilarious
3:33 _"This is about shuttin' you up. Is what this is about!"_ 😂😂😂😂😂 Amen
He then proceeded to have the most aura in the world with that slow sip.
Yeah, then they cut out the fact that she couldn't hang with Alton.
I once met Alton at a book signing and even though the crowd was huge he took the time with everyone. He is really a very sweet man.
I met him at a book signing in middle school like 16 years ago and he was great!
ALTON! I appreciate the camera inside the fridge shot like from Good Eats
Good Eats will always be the greatest Food Network show
The man was pouring molten glass on a turkey a month ago. I expect nothing less than unhinged culinary chaos and I love it.
Alton Brown is the absolute best guest to appear on Heat Eaters and he will not be beaten. So knowledgeable and fun to watch!
Alton Brown was a Hero in the past. There's no word for how awesome he has since become, and will forever be.
That intro was such a throw back for me! I watched Good Eats growing up as a kid and it was the best cooking show on the food network!
It was a nice callback to Good Eats for sure.
Best cooking show evver.
Same, I really miss watching him, where can I binge watch him?
Pouring both drinks into the glass, classic Alton.
Weird uncle Alton is here to get trashed and eat good food. The man knows his priorities.
This was pure entertainment. Alton Brown was chaotically hilarious, into everything, yet also sharing his knowledge of the subject. Absolutely GREAT episode!
I love this man. He's just so insanely relatable, while somehow also being larger than life.
Alton brown needs to do hot ones again.
And good eats :( id Patreon that!
Agreed
Love seeing Alton not scripted and just enjoying himself with a friend, always teaching something good
The intro being a classic Good Eats in the fridge shot hooked me right away.
That's why this cat facilitated all the Iron Chefs!! He's a genius...sharp as a chef can be!!
Alton like this needs to be an entire show...
Alton invents a spicy martini float… unreal. And this is the first time I’ve seen him be slightly rattled by something hot.
Please a whole show of these two. What a treat!
I about pulled a muscle laughing at 8:48.
Esther and Alton. Two of my favorite cooks to watch.
Auntie Esther and Uncle Alton? We about to break the Internet here.
Daddy Alton vs Uncle Roger!
Alton's chaotic energy he brought to the shoot was amazing. I'm was cackling out loud. What a guest!
I want more Alton, he’s the one that got me into food with Good eats! I didn’t really care about his recipes, but he taught me almost everything I know about techniques and science to how the food is prepared, GOAT
Alton Brown's entertainment chops have ages like a fine chaotic wine.

ALTON BROWN US ICONIC🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
15m of Alton is not nearly enough. We need the uncut episode of this. Just Alton being unhinged for an hour.
Saw Alton Brown’s name and I rannnnnn.
// Rannnnn, so far awaaaaay// Pardon 80s kid here :)
Litterally 😂
To or from?
He came to my hometown as a part of his tour and he knew more about my hometown than I did….AND I’VE LIVED THERE ALL MY LIFE LOL!!!!

Alton is the goat, having him on your show lends a ton of cred, great job guys! Auntie ester is killing it
Alton Brown is my favorite food personality ever. So funny, great humor, and incredibly knowledgeable about food
The inside oven and microwave camera shots on Good Eats always got me

Who should chef Esther Choi cook her next spicy meal for?
Susur Lee!!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
ME !!!
Alton is truly inspiring with his knowledge, humor, and flair. And I would given anything for a Chef Esther meal!!
Alton Brown aging his way into chaos makes me smile lol.
Alton has finally brought out the chaotic drunkle vibe. And i'm diggin it.
I love how Alton has gone from zany food nerd in his youth to chaotic wizard in his older age.
first time seeing this guy and i love his persona already 😂
Alton is giving off Tony Stark vibes. Completely unhinged yet completely in control.
Alton Brown putting Esther to shame. My dude can handle his heat
3:49 is the moment Esther realized she made a massive miscalculation....
This is my absolute favorite Heat Eaters ever….the authentic chemistry between Ester and Alton is just magic ❤
Sorry but you're confused, you're not seeing chemistry between them, you're seeing Alton's magic. Nothing against Esther when I say that.

Never clicked a video so fast!!!! Have been an AB follower since a teen (im 35)...i miss good eats :(
THAT was an excellent episode. Alton brings the perfect amount of sass.
This was honestly my favorite episode! Altons' knowledge is out of this world. And the man can drink!!😂

This man WAS my childhood. I will never not watch a video with him in it. He is a national treasure
Alton Brown is a Chaotic Neutral Wizard with a penchant for trouble. I want him in my D&D group.
This is the best episode I have seen. Alton is one of my favorite people in the food world.
I think Alton is more of a menace than Uncle Roger.
THE FLOAT 😂😂😭😭
Two of my favorite food personalities onscreen at the same time. Pure Heaven.

I used to hate know-it-alls. Had no patience & rolled my eyes. Watching Alton thru Esther’s lovely eyes, I see him anew.
Okay, can we get him on Last Meals now? Woooo
I like to say that Alton Brown and Emeril raised me! They really had a huge influence on my career. ❤
I’m no chef, however sometimes if you balance spicy with sweet it’s really good.
I love Alton. The dude made me interested in food beyond just eating it.

Is it just me, or does Alton Brown seems like the Adam Savage of the food world
I have been in love with Alton Brown for 15 years. And Auntie Esther was ROBBED on the Netflix Iron Chef Legend!!! She should have won.
Alton has been my favorite chef for Decades!!! He crushed that meal!
THE BEST guest you've had! Alton is KING!
