Having spent a ton of time in CR, I’ve seen many of those Sansa Grand Caravans and always wondered how they are to fly. Pretty cool! And brilliant move taking an early am flight as the weather is always calmer then. Great shot of the crop duster treating the pineapple plantation too! Thanks for a unique and great vid.
I have flown Sansa a few times. Very nice people, but don't like flying on an one engine aircraft and they won't guarantee that your luggage will accompany you on the flight. Therefore, when I am in Costa Rica, I hire drivers instead of using Sansa when I visit San Jose and a beach resort.
The only and best domestic airline that Costa Rica has, this airline is small but it connects many people who are very rich in nature. 🇨🇷 Welcome to the Costa Rica 🇨🇷💯

Very nice. I’ve been to Tortugero but didn’t fly…took the boat/bus from San Jose. It’s an amazing part of the country. I remember seeing the planes coming and going from the resort we were at. Had a great time!
The Cessna Grand Carvan 208's will be around for a long time however they'll soon be Replaced by There New Twin Engine Planes The Cessna Skycourier 408's which can fly further than there Single Engine Bloodline Brothers also they can carry up to 19 Passengers onboard which means any Commuter Airlines can take Interests in buying Them soon Awesome Video!!!!
Thanks. I find all your reports interesting but this is special. This is how flying should be, yes, I know one can't fly long distances like this. Anyway I enjoyed it inmensely. As for small airports I could mention Canaima in Venezuela, but the plane from Caracas was a regular, if small one. I can't remember the airline but perhaps AVENSA. Look, I'm talking about the 70's and 80's of last century. Now who knows. The plane that took us tourists then to the other side of the AuyanTepuy with a sight (mist allowing) of the Angel fall was bumpy but beautifully small. Memories... Loved the video. :)

Why don't you publish new trips? Why do you still present old videos? I am interested in new travel conditions, not old. I am very sad, it is not worth to me. Sorry guys.
The last 11 videos before this one were all from this year though. So we are very much publishing new trips, even more often than most other channels as we currently upload two videos per week. It doesn’t hurt to have a single one-year old video, that we didn’t get to upload yet, in the mix once in a while… :) We wouldn’t be able to keep up with two videos per week forever with just new content, as we can’t travel every week. We have to record multiple videos in one trip and them share them over time. If we published everything right away, we’d have to post ten videos in a week and then nothing for two months. I hope you understand that spreading out content over longer periods of time is necessary some times and especially with videos like this one, where there isn’t a service element that might have changed, I don’t think it matters if it was recorded this year or last year. And we stay honest about when it was recorded, sharing that information right at the beginning of the video. I hope you understand, Jan!

That's because this place is a nature reserve! That airport is exclusive to the reserve! But the official airport in this area is called Limon airport.
Wtf Costa Rica is not a poor country. It is simply such a small country that it does not occupy a big airline with big planes. Besides the service of the pilots is incredible, the domestic terminal is very nice and the Juan Santamaria airport is one of the best in Central America.
