This is the most unusual tripreport on this channel ever. Never expected to see a trip on a helicopter here. Simply Aviation, thank you very much for your interesting and diverse content 😀👍✈️
This is one of the most unique and fascinating trip reports ever! This was just stellar. And it makes me put the Faroe Islands even higher on my bucket list! Well done, Felix!!
I very love @Felix use Canon G7X Mark lll and but I don’t know you take video is it 4K video right? But anyways Felix keep it up! 😊👍🏼 Oh is helicopter 🚁.
Helicopter?! Well, this war certainly different! I liked it alot! I've never taken a Helicopter ride, so it was nice to see how to fly on one. Another excellent video guys. :)
Fun Fact: Did you guys know that in the Faroe Islands was also filmed for the James Bond movie No Time To Die? Also this is the first video I seen you on a helicopter, and I love helicopters.
Heavenly memories from my Faroe trip last summer come up again - THANK YOU! I did the same route, and also Klaksvík - Tórshavn and I was as excited as a 5 years aviation old boy awaiting a flight in a regular plane. Jumping around like a kid to get to my first helicopter ride ;-)
Now thats new. I never thought id see a simply aviation tripreport on a 10 minute flight in a helicopter but here it is! Also, that was some really nice sceanery 😀. 👍
You're quite lucky, that's the Search and Rescue version we have, done a lot of training drills with them as I'm in the Faroese Coastguard, those guys are the real deal!
Wow! I am speechless, you even flew on a helicopter! From now on I'll expect the impossible from Simply Aviation! Hope the next trip report will be on the *Millennium Falcon!* :D When will you upload the new Jeddah Airport trip report? Thanks
I flew in a helicopter last year and it was so fun. We all wore headsets so we could talk to each other during the flight and I could even speak to the pilot!
Great video. I must admit, I'm born and rased Faroese and in my almost 40 years on this planet, I've actually never flown on the Faroese helicopters. Or any helicopters for that matter and I really love certain models. And well, that final greeting was Danish, not Faroese, but one Faroese greeting you could have used is "Takk fyri hesu ferð".
Hi, i'm going there to work on a fishing vessel in the middle of an April. Could you recommend me some local delicacies or culinary curiosities? I've heard that lamb head is quite good, do they serve it at the restaurants? I love pork cheeks so i am anxious to try it out. Cheers.
@@hubert9841 Pork is not that common in the Faroes. If you can, check out a restaurant in Tórshavn called Ræst. It may be a bit pricy but it will serve you fermented dishes which are a staple of Faroese cuisine. They may have sheep head (I don't touch the stuff personally!) Of course, if someone invites you to their house, accept because it's possible they will serve you some sheep in some form or another. I'm sure you'll meet someone like that on your trip on the fishing vessel. :)
This trip is so amazing, took the journey my self back in 2018 to Thorshavn where the helicopter flew along the runway and taxiway to reach its stand. Very spectacular, I do highly recommend this trip to everyone plus the Faroe Islands itself is very amazing and beutiful.
What a wonderful experience, completely different from an ordinary flight and completely fuss-free. It looks like there are actually staff at the 'terminals', so is there an actual check-in procedure or is it just 'if you could just wait in this hut until it arrives'?
There is no check-in like with airlines. You book the flight and just turn up. No fuzz, no hassle. It has to be noted that people who live on the remote islands have first priority, so you may have to wait for another route, but that rarely happens.
This is simply an amazing report!!! Never I watched a trip report in a helicopter. Thank you for the insight. Looking for more videos from your channel. Just remember to stay safe, stay healthy n keep rolling. Hugzz n Love from Bali ❤❤❤
Excellent and unusual report - with fantastic scenery too 👍😀. I’ve flown on a helicopter only once, and it’s certainly one of the highlights of my aviation experiences, but not so exotic & scenic as this (between Gatwick & Heathrow in transit from a long-haul flight and on to destination on a domestic flight, all part of a Business Class deal, including several hours in a Gatwick airport hotel room after the early arrival at Gatwick).
Is the sensation of flying in a helicopter different from an airplane? I have always wanted to fly in a helicopter, but it is very difficult and expensive. This trip report proved me wrong and added a visit to the faroe islands to my bucket list.
When you show the heliport. My grandma said:-Are those the bathrooms? Me:-No, this is the heliport! And my grandma started laughing and said:-Neither McDonald's is in there! 🤣😂
When I was a child we used to watch the daily DC3 flying over our farm towards the north of Western Australia. Never saw the inside of one though. It was later replaced by a Fokker Friendship.
With respect to the producer(s) of these videos, having to read takes away from being able to appreciate the scenery. So being someone who doesn't produce videos..Is displaying text easier than narrating?

Next up: Taking a trip on a glider!
Wow
the following I'm flying by helicopter the rear propeller failed я лечу на вертолёте отказал задний винт
you must be crazy, aviation includes helicopters, gliders, planes, even flying cars.

Budget or bucket?
I flew from Tórshavn to Klaksvík a few years ago. Like you say - amazing experience and great value for money.
I have to say, this is by far one of the coolest videos you guys have ever made.
I very love @Felix use Canon G7X Mark lll and but I don’t know you take video is it 4K video right? But anyways Felix keep it up! 😊👍🏼 Oh is helicopter 🚁.
Such a typical Felix trip, and absolutely spectacular. I loved this one!! Thanks for the effort in posting for us!
Another great Aviation video from Simply Aviation! Keep it up!
I've never been in a helicopter so this is a fascinating and "you are there" video! Really enjoyed it.

A simple but wonderful trip report. Thank you Simply Aviation!
I was saving my Internet data for watching Uefa Champions league, but when I saw Tripreport in helicopter I couldn't resist. Worth watching.......

The Heliports, the Helicopter, the Terminal, the tiny Airplane panel and all other stuff on this video is very cute :D

No meal service??? Huge bummer. Could've at least given a hot towel upon boarding.
What a great unusual, unique, unexpected flight. By helicopter, short hop between two islands, and with breathtaking landscape
Wonderful video! Awesome to see a Helicopter trip report! Liked!
How cool is this flight! What a unique experience 🚁

15 Euros? Is this subsidiced? There is no way they are profitable with 15 Euro tickets.

That doesn't seem like enough money for the operation of that helicopter, Im assuming that operation is government subsidized
Yes
