Gotta be honest. Whenever I see a new Steve video it immediately brightens my day. Another great one sir. Can’t wait for the next one.
There were enough of them today, Steveo actually finished last. There was Jerry W's video, Mr. Aviation 101's video, Flight Chop's video, and then Steveo. All good and kept my out of trouble for two hours.
All my favorites, Premier 1 is another good ride.
I'm too old to fly commercial - SO! I do it at home on FSX. That's about the best I can do these days; but it still brings back the memories. Thanks for the "Live" videos Steve.
Gary I have Windows 7 + is there a way I can load FSX onto my computer I've tried a load of people and no one's answered please help if you can
I went to Spanish Cay as a young boy in approx 1972 when it was owned by Texas businessman Clint Murchison Jr., he was the founder of the Dallas Cowboys. My best friend's parents were friends of the Murchison's. We flew from Opa-Locka on their DC-3, they apologized that the Gulfstream II was in the paint shop. Anyway, it was a cool trip that I vividly remember 45+ years later. There were two 50'+ fishing boats that took us out fishing morning and afternoon. The food was great, and at night we watched Cowboy's game films and a film of NFL follies. There were also large pieces of debris on the beach from some type of missile/rocket, not uncommon in the Bahamas. Steve, keep up the great videos, nice to see the Caravan again.
Always loved Spanish Cay when I went by boat. Used to clear customs there. Always good to have a marine handheld VHF on hand. Everyone communicates this way there or used to anyway. I could be living in the past.
Back to the Bahamas! Yes!

I used to fly an Aztec in to Walkers Cay a good bit back in it's hay day. It is the northern most Bahama Island and much of the hotel and marina were destroyed by back to back hurricanes. I hear Carl Allen bought the island and is planning on putting it back onto the sport-fishing map. It will be good to see Walkers busy and booming again.

From the Bahamas, I think the TBM is an amazing craft but for some reason I prefer your caravan videos...especially in and around my nation's islands! Good work as usual!

Stevo... I've been following your UA-cam channel for about a year now and I really enjoy your content. I watched your videos last year while I was deployed. I was in flight school a couple of years ago but I wasn't able to finish. Watching your videos helps me stayb educated .I was wondering if maybe you could do a video with in depth flight planning to show us an insight on how you plan your flights. I'm not sure if you've done anything like this already. Keep up the awesome work!

The SF50 could almost fit in the back of the Caravan, lol. The Caravan may have issues at 350 KTAS and FL280, however.

I enjoy following you in the TBM and on the aerobatic flights, but the Caravan trips to the Bahamas are my personal favorites. And I know safety is ALWAYS the priority and certainly staying within the parameters set by the FAA, but it would sure be tempting to "Ring the doorbell" at minimum 'safe' altitude - just sayin. Another great ride!

Lol, personally, I think there's a competition among ATC to see who can cram the most ATIS METAR info in the shortest span of time.

Not only is the Bose headset great for pilots, but my bluetooth ones that I use with my phone / music have "MOST EXCELLENT" base and I dearly love 'em! Great trip and you make it looks so easy. Does the right seat slide forward and aft as much as your seat?

Been enjoying your videos for about a year now. How about doing some basic ground school videos for us non pilots. Been an aviation buff most of my life , been a crew chief on the 135's in the Air Force, taken a few lessons. Keep up the awesome videos !

Non-aviation expert here. Steveo, both the TMB and the Caravan have turboprops (although I'm sure NOT the same exact engine type), but the TBM has a 6-bladed prop, while the Caravan has only 3. Would the Caravan be more efficient / faster with a 6-bladed prop?
Marshall Loveday the tbm 850 has a 4 blade prop, 910’s and 930’s have a 5 bladed prop. I can’t speak for Cessna but there is probably a good reason for the propeller that they chose for this aircraft and tbm probably has a good reason for their choice in updating to a 5 blade prop.
Don't know why I was thinking it was a 6-bladed prop......

Steveo - do you have to deal with customs on these type of flights (grocery runs)? Do they have a customs facility on that island? I'm assuming you have to deal w/ customs back on the mainland, but wondering about the Cay.
