Can you put the actual tabs on a website or something? Thanks dude awesome vid
Dave Mustaine - along with Chuck Schuldiner are up there as one of the best frontmen in metal. Playing these guitar parts at the same time "Singing" is no easy matter.
Do not forget Alexi
@@user-jm7dd2sl8o or Hetfield
Also they delivered perfect shows. No fail with the tempo and perfection with every note. Also they are one of the most creative guitar players, and especially Chuck with the lyrics
@@colescroggins2896 bro hetfeild riffs are too easy to sing along to
@@cjjesse6732 bruh try blackened
2:25: That’s the cleanest version of the sweep I’ve heard on UA-cam. Not even Dave plays it that well live.
Dave used to way back when, if I remember correctly, but since his left arm injury he hasn't been able to hit it as well as he once did.
The slide back down is xxxtra yucky, too.
Jeff Young is one of the best guitarists Dave had in the band! That Solo is fucking killer and you did a great Job with it! Jeff doesn't get enough Credit where its due!
Totally agree
The riff at 2:15 also is great work! Dave plays it this way live but most covers do downstrokes only. Awesome work man!
2:18 what a riff
Probably one of the best riffs they've ever wrote in. I literally always come back to hear that transition riff
you take mortal men
It's the most plain and boring riff in the entire song
@@briang8579 "plain"only means something to 13 year old boys. Fast and shreddy doesnt mean good all the time. The beauty in the riff is its simplicity whilst being super heavy. Mustaine himself even said it was one of his favorites he ever wrote. Get some taste.
@@mrchain7 its probably megadeths worst riff of the 80s.
Best cover on youtube
Great playing. I was trying to figure out exactly how Dave plays the part at 1:20, and this seems to be the right way. Thanks !!
I try to learn by ear, but this record is really muddy sounding, and most of the UA-cam covers are wrong.
That’s the famous spider chord riff from Dave, it’s very fun to play. Mad props to Joker for playing the whole song very accurately indeed!
@@bvc11111 yep like the riffs on this song are not As punishing as The Poison Is Cure or loved you to death or good mourning Black Friday because these riffs are easy fast riffs that are mostly 0
And tons of slow riffs
The hardest part of set the world on fire is the solos there hard to tab out because there so much effects they used on the guitar tones so the only way you can find the notes is at live
Like Set the world on fire ending solo is like top 5 hardest megadeth solos yes more harder than tornado of souls due to 4:30 add tremolo with weird pull off techniques and tons of stretches changing time signatures constantly and the tons of guitar effects you have made this harder than the cool slow solo such as tornado of souls
And I remember this album was made while they were on drugs so that’s borderline impressive
But I still think hook in mouth is a more difficult song to play check the tabs out it is the hardest tapping solo I know of
While anarchy in the UK is the most easy because it’s just 1 riff with short solos
There's this guy that posted Jeff's last solo with a tapping opening. It's the coolest thing ever, look it up. This guy has a ton of really good solo uploads.
Oh yeah “Jimi Wolf Studios” I think
those riffs
Wow. :)) I didn't expect you to play all of the solos.
Awesome. Well done. One of Megadeth's very best.
I have video and audio evidence of Mustaine singing and playing this as a LEAD LIVE in 1987. The man is a fkn Legend in all Music.
Dave started writing this on the back of cup cake wrappers on the bus back to califoria after metallica except the name of this song then was " megadeth " and his new band he planned on calling " fallen angel "
Yes this is true, he still suffers from that past! It is amazing how his hunger to not being left behind gave us so many great and legendary thrash albums!
This guy is a BEAST!
wicked and super timing great job
Dude, this is flawless...🤤
Fuck ya man. Killing it brother 🤘🤘
nice and tight playing
Close up playthroughs like this are better than a lot of so-called lessons. Unlike lessons with a bunch of talking, I can see and hear it as music, watch it and slow it down, and see what you're doing.
Killed it as usual, Take no prisoners?
Thanks man nicely played!
Excellent cover
Great bro !! nice playing
Awesome!!
That’s insane mate
Good job🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Thats Amazing how you can play the Solos in this song. Well Done Champ. 🤘
Guitar tone and playing 👏
That looks a whole lotta fun!
Spot on!
Amazing!
Отличное видео, исполнение, и композиция
!
Very impressive
holy fucking shit the first solo is a fire
great job
Killer
🤘
Awesome
Clean as fuck, nice man
Fucking hell man, that was amazing
that was fuckin epic
Great!!!!
Aside from Dave being a technical Rhythm player while singing and writing songs that are so catchy and good. Even playing the lead part is just as hard as what Dave does. Every instrument is typically difficult on its own in a Megadeth song.
Holy fuuck slayed that shit
Nice job, to an absolute monster track. I am curious to know what your opinion is on Jeff Young's guitar work on this track and did you find it difficult to cover?
Thanks for sharing!
I have no idea how you can strum that fast the whole song
HOLY F***CK BRO 🔥🔥🔥
Can you do something from killing is my business next?
any chance of doing rust in peace polaris? how's that katana treat you btw? very interested in them
well i havent been able to get a tone out of it thats similar to my rocksmith tone, it kinda sounds brittle and harsh, but sort of "full" in a bad kind of way, so im not really satisfied with it
i havent dove into the sneaky amps stuff though, so until i fully exhaust every option on it, i wont write it off as bad
maybe the speakers not broken in, i dunno
theres a lot of megadeth left for me to play, ill see about rip polaris
@@JokerTheAnarchist Oh wow i've hardly heard anything negative about them lol I am very bad with making tones so I'll definitely have to do my research on em.
that is a sexy katana amp
93.4%?! Screw that! I'd say that was dead on 1:1! 🤘😝
great work man perfect , please send me the tab
Dave is a great guitarist but he's not the GREATEST guitarist. However when it comes to writing riffs and solos that tell stories and hit you in the feels, he is absolutely unmatched.
This tune would have slotted in well to Rust In Peace
WW3 is almost here, Dave predicted it lol
looking down the cross, pls
Jeff Young was awesome.
supberb
I think I'm playing a different cdlc, this one looks better. Good job tho!
