The fact that your barrel is still capable of shooting fairly tight groups after 12-15k rounds is impressive! Also goes to show how durable a nitride barrel is vs CHF for the vast majority of users. Speaking of nitride, I also like them for my dust covers for the added ease in cleaning. In my experience as well as seeing other posts on the subject, it seems 69gr ammo seems to be the sweet spot for accuracy from 5.56 loads with 62gr being the worst among a variety of barrel profiles. Thanks for the video! Forgot to add that the KE Arms Rekluse trigger is outstanding if you haven't tried it yet.
Given how often people on the Internet like to dump on Sandman K and now Dead Air as a whole, it is refreshing to see someone run one effectively. It is such a great, no-BS hard-use duty can with a flash hider front cap. Coupled with SOLGW 13.7 or 13.9, it is such a solid fighting rifle setup.
I run the 13.9 SOLGW in my competition build. It’s more accurate than I’ll ever be. The consistency has been on par with SOLGW barrels. I do have a newer one and I’m still loving it. I’m at about 10k rounds and she still holds sub moa groups with 77 gr mk262.
Mike Michalski on P&S said their OEM wasn't Ballistic Advantage. The interwebz has kept on with the goings on saying they are BA. I have a feeling they are Rosco. Rosco came out with barrels that look awfully similar to the V2's that SOLGW is using. Rosco does good stuff. They make all the R coded Colt barrels. Which get chrome lined.

They just recently came out with some new barrel offerings along side the old that are obviously not BA but doesnt change the fact that they were charging double for a BA barrel because “QC” 😂

Do yourself a favor and steer clear of any Griffin mounts. Their Dual lok is pretty much just worse KeyMo and their taper lock is just a carbon locking nightmare. Anything Plan B is the answer for suppressor mounting as far as I’m concerned.
Which slick side upper receiver is that? I see a similar stripped one on sale for $62 now on BKingsFirearms. Grabbed a cooler looking slick side on ar15discounts
People loved to talk shit about your unity grip in the video where it broke, It’s designed to give and not bend the rail. Yes the Magpul and Slate black VFG probably would have survived but they also would have bent the rail, In a situation where your VFG breaks I’d rather spend another 25$? Then 200$ on a rail and have to rezero anything on my rail.
I haven't found anything manufactured by Forward Controls that I don't love. If you havent tried their charging handles you should really give one a try...and I'm with you on the FCD safeties, I even have one on my Radian ADAC lower.
I love a lot of FCD stuff, some of it like the CH is hard to justify. I love it, I’ve tried it, but it’s just one of those things that every time I go to buy it, I find something else new

@@DutchK75 yes they either used BA or Rosco, I was told the PA exclusive 13.9 was a BA not a Rosco. I like Rosco, but I like it either way
