Hello everyone!
Firstly, I want to say this is a challenge, and whether you are aiming for the full 1,000 or 500 or your first 100 bodyweight squats, please make sure you are listening to your body throughout.
If you are completely new to squats, I recommend sitting this challenge out and focus on form and ensuring you do not gain any joint pain or lower back pain during or after the exercises and allow a period of time before moving onto any challenges or weight loading with barbells or dumbbells etc.
This is just for fun guys! And a tough one it is!
5 slight variations on traditional squat position performed for 100 reps and repeat again!
traditional squat position
No hips in at top of squat
Close stance squat
Sumo stance squat
Pulse squat
This should be a fun challenge to do if you have 30 minutes and want to test your muscular endurance and strength!
You will 100% feel this in your quads, hamstrings, glutes and core!
If you feel any lower back ache or joint issues please stop the exercise immediately.

Hi Caroline! Great workout!! I am 57 years old and this was my first time doing this challenge, but I made it to 600 squats!!! 🤗🤗. I will be challenging myself to reach 1,000 squats next time. Thank you so much for being a great coach and motivating us to get in the best shape! ❤️❤️👏👏
What is up with you people in the comments? I'm a pretty fit guy and I saw 1,000 squats and figured it was a joke. And then, she does it, and everyone in the comments be like "Yeah, I did it, but it was tough and my legs feel like jelly." I got to 250 and started to giggle---no way I'd get to 300, let alone 1,000! HAT OFF TO Y'ALL!
Yeah i found doing 400 pushups in 30 mins easier than 1k squats.
I believe it also depends on your weight how many squats can you do in a row.

lol, Caroline said she hoped she counted right-watching butterflies 😂 I lost count on the last round of sumo squats too because of my mind wandering, so I just followed along with Caroline. It seemed long so I went back and watched and counted after finishing the challenge. She did 150 of that round! So, I you, like me, followed her, we did 1050 squats! 💪🏻🦵
I'm sure I'm incredibly late to the game on this. But I attempted this workout, i burned out around 800 reps. I've spent the last two days having serious conversations with all of the fibers in my legs.
What enjoyed about this workout was how "happy" Caroline seemed.

This was my first attempt to 1000 reps squat.. for once I thought 💭 I cannot cross 500 mark as my whole leg started trembling and now just finished 1000 mark 🥵🥵.. Though now I can't control my leg movement 😂😂.. Thank you for motivating throughout the challenge.. ❤️❤️
Going to try it on rest days as Epic 2 is going on!!! Observing Caroline do exercises and following her tips has benefitted me a lot to do exercises in proper form!! You are a true blessing Caroline!! Thank you very much for everything!!

I did 1000, I am 72 years with hip replacement. I noticed my hips were 2 inches higher than my butt… how effective is doing this for me?
Did this and I could feel my legs shaking when I was walking but felt so good finishing it thank youu❤❤
Thank you for this amazing workout Caroline! I wanted to push beyond 500 but knew 1000 wouldn't be wise so did 750 reps instead. Great leg workout. Your channel has been a godsend during this lockdown.

Omg I have just finished this all 1000 squats but my god my legs are burning, really enjoyed it as it made me focus and keep proper form but I was so happy when it finished 😁 I did your dumbell legs and glutes, followed by your obliques one before this 1000 squats, but feeling very proud of myself today

Oh.....i did this last tuesday.....woah...
When i finished first 200 reps i thought i should quit when i reach 500 reps....bcz my joints make a sound like cracked .....
But...after finishing 500 reps....i thought no i should finished other half and.....i did it.....i really proud of myself and......that day was ok....
I often do leg workouts but this is my first time doing 1000 rep challange.......when it comes to wednesday my legs were on fire and sore.......😁 and today is thursday and the soreness isn't finished yet and it is on another level when i climbed the stairs......but i am glad to do this workout and looking forward more bodyweight leg workouts from u carolin ......i am in love with your bodyweight upperbody and leg workouts........❤️
You're such a amazing trainer that I'm seeing so much improvement.
Never expected my quads to last that long. I'm amazed. After 500 I needed a minute break. & after 900 I took 2 minutes.
But I make it to 1000! 😂😂😂
btw: Last week I did the leg press after 5 months. I had been stuck on the same weight for a very long time, maybe years. After training with you for 2 month, I tried 130kg instead the usally 120. After 12 reps I knew I could even do it with 140. & yes, all the sets without problem. All that thanks to your way of training. Big thanks x 💓 Now rest rest rest.

I completed this this morning and it flew by. I was in the zone completely, counting away and before I knew it it was the end and I was left wondering where all the sweat came from. LOVE Caroline.

Finally got around to defeating THIS particular beast and MAN that was FIREEEEEE
I followed along counting my reps and switching to next squat variation when Caroline does, and I only got 750, but I am content with that number, that's a great result for a first try at 1000 squats

Gr8 workout! I could not finish it. My lower back began to hurt. It’s difficult for me to keep my abs contracted and breath while working. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I was surprised to find the no hips squats harder than the pulses.
I've witnessed some of the most elite men in fitness, including myself, reach some unfathomable feats. Never have I ever, saw a WOMAN do a workout so ferocious. I am thoroughly impressed. Great job 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

Yes I’d love to know! Results depend on the person.. if you did this 2x per week and didn’t squat to your sufficient depth, didn’t move your body through the week and ate more calories than you burn then results are very different to someone who trains hard and really pushes that depth, moves through the week ie. daily steps and works entire body! 😉🤩
Ironically right after writing this I pulled my left hamstring badly trying to prevent a fall while hiking. I couldn’t walk for a couple days. I can now squat again but gently and not as deep. I’m currently sticking to the 100 squat challenge. Slow but steady healing🙏🏻
