The dceu batman is heavily underutilised. We havent seen much movie’s from him whereas captain america’s had a whole decade’s worth so its really hard to pick out what batman’s true capabilties are when he’s only been in 2-3 movies(dceu)

In the comics, Captain America knows that Batman could beat him and vice versa. But Batman was able to convince Steve not to risk it because he knew that victory was in no way assured against Batman. I think Bruce's weapons, stealth tactics, combat tactics and ruthlessness will give him the edge. Batman will deduce that Cap's fighting style and counter, plus figure out a way to separate him from his shield.

I always find it interesting that Batman tends to get credit for almost beating Superman in BvS even though he had months of prep time, a situation and gear designed specifically to win the fight, an opponent who actively tried not to fight and then, when forced, tried not to kill him and still lost the fight. The Martha thing was the least of his problems.
A lot people seem to purposely forget this every time when they say”Batman beats Superman “, if Superman goes all out , Batman would’ve stand a chance in a “direct” confrontation with or without kryptonite.

Even without months of prep time this fight for me is still a toss up, Batman has shown ability to adapt to situations in Dceu for example when fighting parademons, he adapts quickly by calling in his knightcrawler. Batman has so many tools and gadgets at his disposal at any moment in time, bat mobile, bat plane, bat tank etc, all he has to do is hit up Alfred. Just sucks that we have seen more of cap, so we don’t know more of what Bruce is capable of

1)In his fight with superman he prepared and planned for it to get that way. 2) The warehouse scene Bruce got caught off guard by goonse and we don't know if they were highly skilled like the hydra agents were. Cap was surrounded on all sides and in a confined space with what was supposed to be a surprise attack. Bruce literally had the drop on them and could've been shot in the head and was stabbed.

Exactly. Bruce was getting tagged, knocked down and disarmed while Steve was evading and blocking the hydra agents attacks in the small elevator.
Tough one here; could go either way. However, with all of his gear, Batman could feasibly launch several attacks against Cap at once (sonic devices, flash bangs, smoke bombs, grappling gun, etc.) which might give him a razor-thin edge in battle.

The feats against Thanos in Endgame were done while possessing the power of Thor. If you lift the hammer you get Thor level strength and durability. You can’t attribute that level of strength and durability to Normal Cap. (Still voting for Cap though)

Prep time is BS! If Elon Musk had enough prep time he could defeat the same opponents as Batman given Musk's intellect and resources. Is he a superhero? Batman would get owned inside a prison. He would have to go into protective custody to avoid being murdered or worse. Cap would run the block in the same position. But, they would have to build a special prison to keep Cap locked up. Or, they could just ask for his word of honor not to escape, which would probably be more effective.

@@dali2054 Nah Cap is still superior to Bruce in all physicals strength, speed, agility, endurance, and reaction time due to being the peak in human evolution in all areas in one body which would normally be impossible. Batman is peak human for a man his size and weight. Bruce is slightly more skilled and has more versatility. In a random encounter with standard gear it would be close to 50/50. Take gear away it swings wildly to Steve. Add prep wildly to Bruce.

I think as you pointed out that Captain America and Batman are closer physically than most people would admit. I feel Batman wins and here is why. They are BOTH excellent tacticians... But Batman is just better. Batman quickly adapts and adjusts strategies to fit a given situation. Cap would prefer a direct approach. Batman might go for it but if Cap proves to have an insurmountable advantage in a direct fight Batman will change it up. Smoke Bombs. Distractions and diversions. Maybe Batman launches an flying kick that Cap blocks with his shield only to find an instant later that Batman tossed a bomb past the shield and circumvented it because the kick was only a division so he could skip the bomb in. Maybe Batman decides to tactically retreat. You said he can't prepare but why? Preparation is one of The Dark Knights most powerful weapons. Maybe he retreats and works out a plan to beat Cap. Then Cap is screwed cause if Batman can devise a plan to neutralist EVERY MEMBER of the Justice League l, figuring out how to bet a super soldier with a shield is childs play. He just has too much gear and too many ways to come at you. Cap has.... A shield.

Steve is more skilled, unlike in the comics, DCEU Batman hasn't fought any big, skilled villains, yep including Superman. Clark was weakened by Kryptonite which makes him nothing more than an above average human. Batfleck is stiff as well which is why he rarely even kicks and never performs Taekwondo. The only fighting style we've seen him use is some hand to hand martial arts and boxing. Steve uses Taekwondo, Boxing, Karate and some high speed required Martial Arts effectively depending upon the enemy.
Steve's attack potency is higher as well. Clark would've finished Batman in the fraction of seconds where he said "If i wanted it, you'll be dead already". Their aims were different, Batman wanted to deadset kill off Clark whereas Clark wanted to unite with Batman to take down the likes of Lex Luthor.
MCU fighting are way better than DCEU. Batman may have been older in character, but Capt. America is the definition of a true Avenger
Batman is more skilled while Cap is stronger , Batman can use gadgets and his suit is bulletprof while Cap got casually shoted if I remember correctly , just because Batman can't break his shield it doesn't mean that Cap would be able to hit Batman with it , Batman is accepted to be the best fighter in Marvel/DC so I am pretty sure that he would dodge the shield , Cap might win this but it would be a tough fight , definetly not a mid difficulty fight for Cap as some fanboy think

I think people will change their minds about Cap winning easily after we see the DCEU Batman take on Deathstroke. As we all know, Deathstroke is a superhuman on the level of the MCU Captain America. I think Batman will hold his own there and, given Slade's down tactical awareness and martial skill, would provide a better view of what a fight between DCEU Bats and MCU Cap would actually look like.
Uh we saw Cap beat people like deathstroke people like Spiderman, Winter Soldier ect.
We have yet to even know what deathstroke in the DCEU can do as he maybe nerfed as Batman or bloodsport were.
Remember Cap is as fast as a Moving Car in the MCU.

Batman is far more superior character to compare with Captain America.
Batman's best feat is the warehouse scene. I'd argue the elevator scene in winter soldier is more impressive and that's nowhere near caps best feat
What's interesting is that Cap and Bruce are actually very similar in strength, Cap can press over 1,000 pounds but so could Bruce. Their speed and reflexes are pretty similar as well, but Cap has unlimited stamina. With Bruce's gadgets, it would be pretty even.
cap is way stronger and faster dude, no comparison at all, he is a superhuman, bat is a regular human with reallyyyyy good training, but still not enhanced like cap. and cap is also more durable
