He’s not like Iron Man who you could say his superpower is his brain, since he builds his own suit. But Bruce Wayne gets his gadgets built by someone else (Lucius). Cap was capable of countering quicksilver so the argument that speed is an advantage for Batman is hilariously off base, and I love both these characters but Batman can either run or eventually be worn down then pummeled to death.
In Civil War during the Black Panther chase scene Captain America outruns speeding vehicles. He’s an amazing strategist as the serum also enhanced his mind to the point where Tony Stark respects his strategy. His endurance is enough for for him to wear out Batman easily(“Ican do this all day” isn’t just his ego talking).

@@crukts7544 he survived 3 bullet holes, several punches in the face with a metal arm that breaks floors, a fall from a very high altitude, and a dip in a pretty dirty river within minutes. Not to mention that he recovered in like an hour. And this was a decade before endgame.
@@El_Mince Batman got speed blitzed through a large building, took multiple attacks from Superman ( I understand he was holding back but it’s still impressive) his armor is insanely durable. He had lots of gadgets in his belt. He knows a ton of fighting styles and pressure points. He avoided point blank shotgun shots while clinging onto a wall. He also punched a guy through a floor and threw someone hard enough to break through a wall. Plus Batman would understand cap is much stronger in strength. So he most likely would not engage in a fight. And if cap does manage to win. It’s going to be with extreme struggle.

Bucky barns was trying to kill cap with punches to the face with the metal hand and it didn't do more than hospitalize cap for an overnight stay. Sorry but no matter what bat man loses every fight. Super man could have killed Bat man easy but he seriously held back because he is against killing.
@JoMac nope never Bucky barnes couldn't do it with same strength as cap and a metal hand. Cap whipped iron man's ass grabbed him and pulled him back down to the floor. Put his shield through iron man's chest. Basically cap over powered iron man's rocket boosters as he tried to fly away. Cap pulled a helicopter out of the sky. He jumped off a motor cycle at 30 mph and threw the motor cycle at an army jeep causing the jeep to explode. He jumped through high tempered outside elevator glass from about 10 stories up landed on his shield got up and walked away like nothing happened. After being taser and fighting off like 9 highly trained assassins. Jumped out of a plane without a parachute. The impact on the water would have killed an ordinary man. Bat man would be a tough fight but he can't beat captain America never. Caps durability is too great. Cap took a very hard punch from Thanos and got up later with no real damage. That punch from Thanos would have killed bat man. And super man had to kill zod it was the only way to stop him. If he didnt kill him zod would have never stopped he would have destroyed the earth. But super man held back against bat man. He didn't fight him with his full power. Please super man could have ripped bat man out of his armored suit and killed him with one punch. He held back. And yes superman is against killing humans. General zod was trying to kill him super man had no other choice.
@JoMac and if bat man had jumped out of the elevator with caps shield he wouldn't have walked away from the impact. He's just an ordinary man. Cap did whip iron man's ass Bucky helped in the beginning but cap went toe to toe with iron man for the last half of the fight. And I believe he would have beat iron man with out nucky's help. If it had been Bucky and bat man against iron man the same scenario weel even give bat man the shield. Iron man would beat bat man in the end. Iron man isn't going to hold back. He didn't hold back against cap either and he's smarter than Bruce Wayne. Tony stark against Bruce Wayne would loose. Cap is just way too durable and his stamina is way higher than bat man's too. If bat man doesn't kill captain America he won't ever win. And killing him isn't very likely. Many have tried and failed including Ultron btw. Cap damaged him too.

Thor seems to be the most erratic in that regard but in fairness the plot generally explains those ups and downs. Hulk also varies due to the frequent changes in his mental state. But otherwise I didn’t notice significant inconsistencies for the majority of MCU characters.
This is even more true if you consider the comics.
Honestly the most obnoxious power change is in Spider-Man Homecoming. We go from him helping fight other heroes to him barely even being able to take on the Vulture

Bhavik Parekh captain America is adept in all fighting styles, but Batman has mastered all of them. Batman has regularly went toe to to with foes that has better physical features than captain America. Lets name those.... bane, killer croc, superman (yes I now supes held back) wonder woman, deathstroke. He has also held his own against lady shiva, who is one of the best hand to hand combatants in the DC universe. Batman is no push over. The match up just isn't in caps favor

One minor nit: You spent a lot of time talking about about how Batman's smarts help him in tactical situations, but you didn't touch on Cap being a master tactician. Overall, this point should be a wash.

Cap has more advantages? DCEU batman's most impressive feat is mainly not dying immediately to doomsday and steppenwolf. The most impressive person he ever beats in superman, but that is with kryptonite, and supes wasnt trying to win. After that its like deadshot. Meanwhile cap defeated iron man(also not trying to kill him but still, no kryptonite or anything) red skull, crossbones, like 20 dudes in an elevator while chained to the side of said elevator, survived hand to hand against ultron for like 10 minutes, which i personally find more impressive than running away from doomsday who was mainly focussed on ww and supes.
Cap is far faster, he was able to outrun cars with ease making him at least twice as fast as batman.
Cap is also far more durable than batman, he has survived crashing a plane, getting punched in the face by thanos. multiple punches and repulsor blasts from iron man.
We also have no idea how many fighting styles batman has mastered, you are just shouting a random number. He also doesnt seem that confident in his skills, given that as soon as shit goes bad he is like, we need to revive superman.
Cap is far stronger than batman. Batman is of course smarter, but tthat wont really help when he is getting smacked around by a guy whho can bench press batman about 10 times over. (Also just a fun fact, knowing many fighting styles is not very useful, you want to be good at a few instead of worse at 120, you cant fight in 120 styles at the same time anyway). And then you speak of bravery, what brave things has batman done? Captured a man going out shopping with his daughter? Cap crashed himself into the antarctic fully expecting to die to save million, he was willing to face down an entire army on his own, to protect earth.

I've never seen Batman curl a helicopter or run 10 miles in 30 minutes (or whatever it was when Capt. kept lapping Falcon in WS). Capt. (not just Capt. but also Panther, Winter Soldier, but when I say one I mean them all in this instance) was landing on rooftops from hundreds of feet up (or maybe 100 feet)...maybe doing a roll and keep going. A regular human, IF he/she survived, would break 25 bones in their body. Capt. just rolls and keeps going.
Batman just seems to be nothing more than a strong guy in a costume. I like Batman. I'm just saying his peak human doesn't seem to compare to these guys....at all.

DoubleFailMech well not like any attacks but like when it comes to standard striking or like kicks, and fighting multiple enemies all at once Thor’s not that fast without mijonir. But that’s not to much of a big deal cause like you know his punches are very impactful and can send people flying. While Batman may not be as powerful as Thor with his punches(of course for obvious reasons) I will say his reflexes are slightly better and he’s quicker when multiple foes are against him. This is just from a hand to hand combats situation.

Back in the 90's there was a 4 comic story that had the DC heros fighting the Marvel heros. I know this video is the movie versions versus each other but just wanted to mention this. In this story the writers tried to match up the heros as evenly as they could. Which I think they pretty much did. The results were as follows:
Superman vs Hulk : Superman won. It was a brutal fight ending when Superman finally knocking the Hulk into a mountain burying him underneath it.
Batman vs Captain America : Batman won. It was a very long and evenly fought fight and at the end, Cap threw his shield at Batman while Batman threw his batarang at Cap. Cap missed but Batman didn't hitting Cap in the head knocking him out for a few seconds.
Wonder Woman vs Storm : Storm won which I have no idea how that happened. She caught Wonder Woman in an electrical storm. This is the only one that the results were unbelievable to me. Wonder Woman would take out Storm pretty much everytime.
Aquaman vs Mariner : Aquaman won. He had a whale land on Mariner on land I think.
Flash vs Quicksilver : Flash won. Flash is as fast as the speed of light while Quicksilver is only as fast as the speed of sound. No contest.
Green Lantern vs Silver Surfer : Silver Surfer won. Can't remember exactly what Silver Surfer did to win but I do remember is was an epic battle in space.
Shazam vs Thor : Thor won. Can't remember how Thor won this one but both can bring up lightning so it wasn't by using that.
Lobo vs Wolverine : Wolverine won. Another I can't remember exactly how Wolverine won but he did.
There were other fights with less popular heros but I can't remember them all. I don't think Green Arrow or Hawkeye were involved which could have been a good match. I don't think Ironman was around back then but if he was, he wasn't in the story. Not sure why Martian Manhunter wasn't in it either. Again I know this video is about the movie versions and the 4 comic story I wrote about is just one of the many times the 2 different worlds were brought together.
Finally someone of HONOR that remembers those classic comics. I was surprised that Sups came in and blocked that energy blast or whatever it was when Hulk was bout to get shot with it.

Then we can say Batman and Cap in comics are pretty equal, this was an unexpected thing and neither of them knew with who they were fighting, it was random, so is Batman’s fighting skills and intelligence vs Cap’s brutal strength, speed and military fighting skill as well as some martial arts ones. So if Batman had prep time it would be a waste of time since Cap’s only power is his super serum, he just needs to know his fighting style and find a way to counter it without being hit with his strong punches and kicks.
At that time batman had a huge fan following that cap did not have,so the fans voted for batman. Therefore,the writers had to figure out a way for batman to win. But batman had said that is conceivable that cap could win in that fight

MCU Cap is still faster than DCCU Batman. Both Cap and Bats are about the same size, around 6ft 2 and 6ft 3 and roughly about the same weight, but given how much stronger Cap is than Batman and taking into account his superior stamina would mean he is capable of moving his body at faster speeds than Bats. However Batman seems so fast because he anticipates danger extremely quickly compared to a standard human. Although this wouldn't give him an edge against Cap as there are multiple moments in the movies of Cap anticipating, reacting and countering attacks extremely quickly.

A little late, but IIRC Cap's feat of throwing Ultron into a cement pillar required much more force than kicking his shield into him. This would be important as a hit like that would probably make the fight even faster for Cap when Bruce has his power armor on.

I think thanos's punch killed cap, he came back to life when thanos reversed time. Just a theory though. Since like all the damage he did to the avengers before taking the mind stone seemed to vanish after he does the snap. War machines suit is back to normal, hulkbuster is out of the wall with no signs of ever being stuck in it and cap had no mark where thanos clocked him.

Captain America is not only strong, but also very fast. On top of that he's more durable. Batman is the pinnacle of human perfection at a physical level, but Cap goes even further with his super soldier serum. At a mental level, both Bats and Cap are very strong, but I couldn't tell who is best (none of them ever gives up though). In terms of who can resist more physical damage and punishment without the mental component, I'd say Cap. Fighting skills? I would say Batman slightly better that Captain America. If the fight is short both batman and Cap may have a chance, but if the fight takes a long time, then cap got higher chances to win....

While I do enjoy these videos. I think (in my opinion), that any kind of debate between the movie versions will never have a true answer since both aren't the real deal, like in the comics. Comics-wise, it's a bit easier to see strengths, strategies, combat and all that other stuff. Movie-wise it's nearly impossible since the DCEU tends to hold back on some of their characters potential, while the MCU just has no real continuity with their power levels. No matter what, it'll be an uneven debate with no answer unless going by the comics. And possibly the animated cartoons since they tend to follow the comics way closer than the movies ever do or actually will. Again this is my opinion. So if I upset anyone, I apologize advance.

Add in Caps enhanced healing factor and extremely high level of endurance, I don’t see any way Batman wins this.
Caps shield nullifies and overwhelms any thrown weapons Batman can throw.

Like if you watch his fight scenes with winter soldier for example, that speed is just actually insane the way he throws so many punches in like 0.005 seconds. Also each punch would almost definitely break a bone of Batman’s or worse. And plus if you see Batman on screen, especially the Ben Affleck version, you notice his fight style is a LOT slower.
