My problem is exactly the same as yours (rear left window bouncing). My Accord also all auto buttons but using push start button. Do I performing all the 4 steps on driver's side and hold up step 1 on drivers side and hold up step 2 on rear left button? At the minute 3:33, hold auto up position is at the driver's side button or rear left button? And at the minute 3:42, I need to hold the button at the rear left window button right? Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
Does the rear door, of the dysfunctional switch, need to remain shut, or can you open the driver side door, after closing it and open the rear door to complete the task?
If you have done all the steps correctly then you have to register the passenger window by using the switch on the passenger door. Do it all again and if it doesn't work then you have a problem with the window switch control panel. I have a video about that here. ua-cam.com/video/AvKFelJQWj8/v-deo.html

I'm not sure if it works for push button start but you still have accessory positions 1 and 2 so, it should be the same. If it works come back and tell us what car it works on.
So the problem is on my passenger side. 1. Key 2 > pull window down > open door > Key 0 > light press down & hold > Key 2 > let go > 4 times But how does it work if I raise it again, because if I raise it automatically it goes back down 10cm? I don't really understand that part.
Ugh it almost worked. Thank you! I got it partially up and then i just pulled it up while holding the button down. I will not be rolling it back down anytime soon.

Especially if you're around a lot of rain like me
thank you for the video, i tried on pajero mk3 it has denso switch.was doing the same problem .now i able to close the window but now automatic does not work. goes down all the way when i press continuously. going back up 5 cm and than 5 cm more when i press again .
Tried on Peugeot 407, same problem. Rear passenger door doing the same thing. Sadly, not working. 1. Position 2 (in my case contact, just before the ignition), window down 2. Open the door 3. Position 0, hold window down (manual), position 2, release the button 4. Repeat 4 times, auto window up... And it still reopens it some 10 cm. Am I doing something wrong?
Well this fix seems to only work on denso switches, so I'm assuming that your 407 dose not use denso switches. Sorry but i don't think it is going to work.
Hi. I have the same problem with my car. My car is left hand drive. Right rear window of my car won't close. When I try to close it half opens. Can you help me?
I currently have this problem on a 2014 Honday Odyssey The passenger window cannot be controlled from the control panel. Window goes down and up fine from passenger door but not from the center control. I don't have a key, it's a push button. Do you have any video using push button?
Your problem is most likely the driver door control switch, you need a new one. Swap out that window control switch on the driver door and it should be fine.
@@GPTV2020 its ridiculous the last rime it cost me $600 they replaced something. I don't care much to spend that much this time. I couldn't even get the door off. I tried but too hard too pull the door panel off.
@@GPTV2020 When I did your trick i can here a bunch of noise but the window wouldn't come up. Its completely down inside the door and it's just stuck in there. The $600 was for another window.
So the window does not move up or down at all when you press buttons on the broken door or the drivers side door switch? But does it make any noises at all? If it makes a noise but doesn't move or just moves a bit, it's most likely the rail that holds the glass. If it makes no noise or movement at all it most likely the motor in the door.if it move when you use the switch on the broken door but doesn't move when you use the switch on the drivers door or vice versa then its most likely a broken switch. I hope this helps.
Unfortunately this didn't work for me. My driver window goes up to about 1/2" from the top and bounces back down to the half open using the auto close. What else could be causing this? It closes manually with no issue.
Unfortunately I would say your car has a different type of switch then mine. Mine is a Denso switch. You will need to go to the main dealer for this i think.
Hi, I have a question. My car’s window has the same problem when closing, it also “bounces” back a few inch when automatically closing. But mine doesn’t open fully, it stops around halfway when I try to open it.
It sounds like the window thinks it is open fully so close it all the way if you can and do these steps it should reset it but also use some grease in the window rubbers and even some spray oil on the mechanism inside. But if you hear a crunching sound, forget about it the cable inside is broken and needs replacing.
@@GPTV2020 Thank you for the reply. Yes, I think it’s just the memory inside that got reset, because it came from the repair shop and was left without the battery for a month with the said window slightly open.
@@LamicaNoorGarcia if the back window is the problem window then yes you need to go to that window for the last step and register your last command. But this doesn't work for every car, so it may not work for the sonic.
Thank you so much for your video. I've a Mercedes c180 w204.. The problem is in the right rear window.. But it happens only when using the driver's button (the window works perfectly when using the rear button).. Should I follow the same technique?
No, i would probably check to see if the window switch in the driver side door is the problem. It sounds like it could need a new switch. Then when you install the new switch you will need to copy these steps to reset the new one to work in your car.
