Yay! Thank you! I know this is such a first world problem but it was so annoying! After a recent battery change, The automatic setting only worked going down but not up! You totally just made my day.
@kandishaw6085 So happy this solved the problem for you! That automatic window issue can definitely be annoying after a battery change. Glad I could make your day better! 😊
@sno0407: Good question! It often depends on the car model, but generally, the first stop might be for manual control, and the second stop engages the automatic feature. If in doubt, start with the first stop and see if that gives you manual control.
Help. I’m able to open rear windows while being in the drivers seat but unable to close. However, if I go to the rear and use rear door to close rear window it works.
@MrAkki2626 For your Nissan Juke 2018, try holding down the window switch for a few seconds after the window has fully opened and then fully closed. This might reset the auto function. If that doesn’t work, it’s best to consult your owner’s manual or visit your dealer for specific settings.
@kelvinbatizanimugari9058: If closing the door doesn’t leave a gap, it might be an alignment issue with the window or door seal. Double-check to ensure the window is properly seated in its track and that the door is closing evenly. Sometimes a simple adjustment can fix it!
@Jim-z6u: If your work truck's window won’t stop digging, it might be stuck in a loop! Try a window reset-hold the window switch up for 5-10 seconds after the window is closed. If that doesn’t help, you might need to look into recalibrating the window settings.
Everyone seems so happy in these comments and it's not helping me at all. I roll the window up and it rolls itself right back down. Did these steps for 5 seconds, 10 seconds, 15 seconds and even 20 seconds. Still the same issue 😡
@matthewleevanhoose3433 Sorry you're having such trouble! If the reset steps aren’t working, there could be an issue with the window's anti-pinch feature or sensor. You may need to check with a mechanic or try resetting the window's electronic control by disconnecting and reconnecting the car’s battery for a full system reset.
I hate the automatic feature of my electric windows. How do iImake the windows work manually? Move when I activate the button and stop when I release the button?
@bowlinglefty: I get it, sometimes those automatic features can be more hassle than help! If you want the windows to move only when you press the button, you might need to check the settings for your specific car model or consult the manual. Some vehicles have a way to disable the automatic feature, or you could try resetting the window control system.
@ManuelGonzalez-to6jo: That sounds frustrating! First, check the fuse related to your rear windows-sometimes it's just a quick fuse replacement. If that’s not the issue, you might want to check the window motor or switch. A quick diagnostic can save a lot of trouble!
You’re the man! Worked for me :)

Do you go to the first stop on the button or the second stop?

I’m not gonna lie although this may have been helpful to someone I found it very dry 😂 dude just do silent videos from now on 😂😂😂
@I-Agreewithdisrepect Do you think silent videos would be more effective for tutorials?

What if you close the door then it doesn't leave a gap what will be the problem

You need to calibrate your seconds. Each one and longer than the one before. It would take you all day to count to 100
@Sceneyour thanks for the tip!
