I had 2 defrects and i send everything bsck because i got soo angry but now ibe ordered again after seeing ur video so thank u and i am not gonna givr up until i get non defect ones
Thanks 👍they are definitely an improvement on the stock tuners (the tuners on my new Squier are better than the stock tuners that were on this bass) and I'm more confident using this bass live now. I'm also more confident using it for covers as I don't feel like I have to keep unplugging and checking the tuning before every take like I was before. They are super simple to install and they were the only tuners I could find that fit the new Fender basses that don't require any extra hole drilling.
Having Googled it, it appears they are made in the USA. Yes, one was defective but now replaced and the bass stays in tune all night through 2 or 3 hard rock covers sets 👍
@@ramencurry6672 they do indeed, but compared to the stock tuners on this bass I’ve found the Hipshot tuners to be much better and when I get the bass out of its case I know it’s going to be in tune. As I mention in the video I only have to check tuning once or twice a gig rather than after every couple of songs which I felt I needed to with the stock tuners. I’m considering getting some for my Squier Jaguar Troy Sanders as the stock tuners, although adequate, don’t stay in tune as well as these, and being lighter the Hipshot tuners would also help to reduce/get rid of the small amount of neck dive that bass has.
I had the same issue with the bushings. Hipshot was awesome about it. They sent me 18.5mm replacements for the 18mm bushings, free of charge.
Nice video and very informative. I like the lollipop 🍭 variants.

Great review man, do you think it's a worthy upgrade?

I got mine today 3 of them made that rattling sound i tighten then i took superglue around the corner so the washer cannot move to side to side :)
Thanks!
Did you have to drill any additional holes?
No drilling needed, they are drop in replacements 👍
Are these tuners made in China? Quality Control is lacking.

You may not need to buy these tuners. A lot of times cheap stock parts work fine. Maybe stretch your strings for better stability

@@ramencurry6672 Cheap stock parts might work fine if you really need a replacement, but these are an upgrade to get for sure
