That's wonderful. I like fishing bass in the delta. I have never fished the aqueduct in my life. Someday i will though. I used to live on the San Joaquin River and i could fish everyday.
Common Carp aka German Carp are probably some of the best fighting fish we have although you don't have to put them back they really not going to damage water that's already messed up good to hear someone who has so much fun fishing good job dude your a great commentator 😅😅
I’ve been fishing the canals in the Central Valley and had aircraft spraying the fields with pesticides fly right over the canals. They cannot shut off their sprayers and it leaves a nice silky rainbow of death right on the surface of the water. Do not eat anything coming out of these canals.
My mother in law had a farm in by Stockton , the pesticides coming out from the airplane over her house and into the river near by, was alarming in the spring time, some folks in the area died of cancer
Seriously. I know people fish just to spend time on the water, but if you have something delicious and healthy you can feed your family with and it's legal to keep, why throw it back.
Hi friend ; 4:11 carp is invasive species you don't need to put it back in to water, need to take it a way so it doesn't eat another native species eggs .
Catch and release whatever you want my friend. Bass are also "invasive" to California but noone says anything about that. Nice video and tight lines! 👍👍
It is literally against the law to release carp back into captivity waters when you catch them. Please read the 2024 freshwater regulation handbook. They are incredibly invasive. They out compete all other species of fish. People say that bass are also non native but they can’t even out compete bluegills in a pond.
@@Holdenmagroyn Maybe in your state but not here in California. Most times they are referring to the "Asian Carp" not the "common carp" Please read what you see on the internet more detailed before spreading info to others. Thanks. 👍

Great video, I throw them back too, water quality in the valley is questionable, lots of pesticides and mercury.

You’re gonna need a BIGGER net! Your fish don’t fit in the net. Good job!
Look at what we have done to our rivers and wetlands in California... Disgusting...
