If you decide to go down the Aurora rabbit hole I highly recommend Aurora - Murder Song The 2015 Nobel Peace Prize Concert. I think about that performance almost daily and it's another haunting and beautiful performance of hers.
Aurora is something quite special. Running with the wolves(live with cello), the seed, murder song(live at Nobel prize awards), soft universe, all is soft inside. All magic
What is wonderful with Aurora is that you can randomly listen to any of her songs and always be amazed. We all have favorites, mines are Winter Bird (live at Nidarosdomen), Home, All is Soft Inside and all the others too honestly 😂 Listening Aurora singing with Einar Selvik was a glorious moment, I love how you can hear the ice in both their voices.

I'm a Dane that was born and raised on a small island in the Baltic Sea. Night walks alone in the forest in winter. Following animal tracks and ABSOLUTE silence were truly magical. The snow dampened all sounds and you felt like you were cut off from everything else in the world. Wardruna has truly touched me for years. Few bands speak to the "Scandinavian melancholy" that I carry inside of me. But they do. Happy you got to experience this song. It is truly a masterpiece. And the Wardruna band, Kvitrafn and Aurora are artists in every sense of the word.
No, it’s fairly accurate in the video translation: “the reputation of each who’s died”. Dómr um dauðan hvern: Dómr - døme - (the) reputation. Um - om - of. Dauðan - døde/ daude - the dead. @@Jonas_æ Thanks, I might have misheard the lyrics. I have edited and removed the false statement. Mistook "hvern" for "kvæder" (as in singing or reciting poetry).
I am not a Dane, neither I am Nordic, but I lived in Norway and experienced a bit of this... The lone walks on forest, at winter time. The absolute slience, nothing moved, no sound was made (except for my boots pressing the snow), it was if the world suddenly just stopped, as if time itself was stopped, and the only thing still moving/living was me. And the only other signs of life were indeed the animal tracks. Never have I felt freer than those lone nights at one of the many Bergen's forests and mountains. May Freyja and Odin keep me in their good graces. May Tyr never get upset with me, because I do my absolute best to be honest, true and straight as an arrow.
I am American but my great grandfather came here in the late 1800s from Denmark. My life goal is too travel back to our place of origin and experience the wonderful land it is. May the gods guide you my friend. I hope your hearth is always warm.
This artist was a huge part in the show Vikings on history channel. He created most of the original music, and this song in particular was used several times in pivotal scenes. His music in general is so soothing. I get chronic migraines and listening to it on low just helps me relax just enough to get through them til the meds kick in.
Apparently UA-cam didn't notify me this video dropped so I'm over a week late to my nerd essay, so that sucks. Great reaction! I love to see you appreciate all kinds of music! Now I'm going to explode with context. This song, of course, is about death and passing on, but more specifically it's about the old tradition in Scandinavia of families gathering and singing to their family on their death bed to ease their passing. More so, it's about the loss of that tradition, "Who will sing me, into the death-sleep sling me, when I walk the path to Hel, and the tracks I tread are cold, so cold?" Who will sing to us when we die? The tradition itself is mostly gone, but even further, the songs themselves are lost, and with them the vast majority of Scandinavian history (which was almost entirely an oral history) is lost as well. It's as if we promised to remember our ancestors, and we let them be forgotten. For further context, Hel in Norse mythology isn't a place of torture for sinners, rather it's simply the afterlife people go to where they simply fade away and are forgotten, and almost everyone goes there, with Valhalla and Folkvangr being exceptions. Even in the afterlife, there was no immortality or eternity, even the Gods themselves would someday die. Instead of living your life to earn an eternity, the Norse philosophy centered more around living your life in defiance of fear and apathy, knowing that while everyone will someday die, the best we can do is make our lives worth living, and by extension worth remembering, to which our memory would be passed on in our tales through family, and if it was worthy enough, society itself, for ages to come. This is a big reason that poetry was so important to the culture. The end quote comes from the Havamal, a collection of poems thousands of years old that was passed down orally and eventually written down in the 13th century, with the quote coming from the perspective of Odin himself, it's pretty much translated to; "Cattle die, friends and family die, so too must you die, but one thing that never dies is (the impact of a life well lived)". In making this song, Wardruna has produced something between a love letter to those who pathed the way for us to be here today, and a mission statement to honor and rediscover the wisdom and lessons we've lost along the way, that we may use them to lighten our future. As a person who's very empathic, I can't stop myself from tearing up when I hear this song, no matter how many times I hear it, it will always stir something in me. Anyway, I look forward to whatever reactions you put out in the future! For more Wardruna reaction suggestions, I highly recommend Lyfraberg and Kvitravn, also Raido. All three have music videos that are absolutely stunning, and hopefully won't get the video copyrighted... We can hope, cus they're definitely worth the watch
Aurora is indeed special. Her Nidarosdomen concert astonished me. Through the Eyes of a Child brought me to tears. Great reaction Aileen as always. This was an amazing collaboration.
Aurora is not only a phenomenal artist, but an amazing human being as well. Saw her live earlier this year, and the whole show brought tears to my eyes. I hope you continue on down the Aurora rabbit hole; it will be well worth your time.
Great reaction!😊👍 You should definetly check out more Wardruna, I recomend Kvitravn(white raven) . But I also recomend that you dip in to some of Auroras music as well. Aurora as you said is an artist on her own. She found an old electric piano in the attic when she was just a child. When she was 6 she made melodies, and when she was 9 she added lyrics.(all in secret from everybody, even her family) One of the songs she made at age 9 was on her debut album, it's called "Lucky". Her biggest song Runaway she wrote at age 11, and the music video to that song inspired Billie Eilish to pursue music, as a career and not just a hobby. I dont know if you're into Disney movies mutch, but Aurora was "the voice" calling out to Elsa in Frozen 2. Both in the song Into the unknown, and the movie. You talked about the emotion in this performance, and there's no one better at conveying emotions through performances than Aurora. If you consider to react to her I recomend you start with some of her earlier performances and songs. Recomended songs in reply⬇

It's beautiful to see true Norwegian Black Metal dude Kvitravn of Gorgoroth and the fairy-like Aurora making beautiful music together. Kvitravn (Einar Selvik) also made music for Assassin's Creed Valhalla so if you like to listen to the Vikings sing in the boat you've heard him before 😊👍 Edit: Black Metal
Yet another spiritual family member. This reaction video needs no words because you leave it all out. You are fully transparent! Your expressions and micro expressions within the songs' vibratory mood lean you in and out of an altered state of full empathic connection to the spirit of the beings creating the music. The obviousness of your authentic self, in a reaction video is for some reason rare here, but loved and appreciated. Thank you for being connected (if only for a few minutes) with not only Wardruna and Aurora but everyone they represent including us, your viewers. Be Blessed dear one. You are more than you know.
Very, very, very good reaction Aileen. This is so veery special performance and you describe their voices and harmonies so darn good i subs you for that. I hope you react more to Aurora. As you say soft and yet so powerful. She is definitly the most interesting artist this century. Follow this thiny angel and spiritual child of Mother earth for seven years now and i have not heard anything better. She have done tons of music and remarcable number of none bad song. This is for me the three best performances Aurora - Lucky live in Nidarosdomen. Through the eyes of a child - Stripped vevo live and a rather new song Exhale, Inhale - Vevo live these three is very calming, atmospheric, haunted and important songs in her catalogue. Sorry for my bad english! Have a nice weekend
Aurora by herself is a FANTASTIC performer. all her live stuff if AMAZING. the nobel peace prize concert she did was soooo good. soo is her concert at Nidarosdomen
This song is amazing. The meaning is that Odin has taught him the songs to guide people to the afterlife, but that when he is gone no one will be left to sing to him. So it's both about physical death, but also the death of the traditional Norse culture as well.
Weird everyone talks so much about Aurora but when Einar comes in is when you get the goosebumps in this song, I think he makes it what it is, his passion when he sings is awesome
I'm not much of an Aurora fan but she does awesome in this. Wardruna I have been a huge fan of since the debut album and they are on my bucket list to see live
Great songs. Love her beginning and incredible harmonies between Aurora and Wardruna singer (also there were powerful transition between her solo beginning and when she started to sing too). Also love the ending lyrics (like sum of of the song :) ). Aurora is a great on herself. It is my favorite artist after I "discovered" her by a chance in 1Q2021 :). She has a lot of great music (like her whole discography ;) ). Hope you will check some songs from her too. Too much great songs from her but i would recommend f.e. Lucky live from Nidarosdomen :). But generally you can not go wrong with any her songs and even covers:).
This song was played at my mother in law's funeral, so not only is it moving in its own right but it also holds a very special place in my heart; bittersweet, it brings happy memories of her but it also brings back that sadness. Such a powerful piece of music
This music is TOTAL. How is this music so great and so universal to all people and how is it ancient and brand new? All I know for sure is that we all should have more of this in our lives.
This is the first video of yours I've seen, as this is one of my favourite songs and I probably have heard every version and cover of it out there. You're such a warm, open and expressive soul. Your reaction was so endearing and genuine, and I enjoyed your articulate and kind thoughts at the end. Songs like this help reflect the fragility and beauty of mortality back to us, a lingering reminder to indeed live with love and kindness and always remember what really matters, and what doesn't. Thank you for sharing your enchanting beauty.
Welcome to Wardruna. Meet Aurora, an artist herself who is whole other realm, a fairy realm maybe. HUGE representative of Mother Earth, must check out her song Seed. Back to Wardruna, they have performed this with Eivør and also with Maria Franz of Heilung, both of which you can find. Wardruna will help you, you feel their passion, he lives his words and songs. Watch Viking Suite with orchestra! A must
Your reaction literally moved me. I highly recommend anything and everything by Wardruna, and also from Aurora, but specifically 'runaway' which she wrote when she was 11 and was 19 in the video.
Aileen my friend, this was a really powerful reaction, and I really appreciate you bringing this to us. I haven't heard this before but I really connected with it. Thanks again.
This is my all time favorite song. From day 1 when it released, till the day Wardruna and Aurora did this duet, till this day. It will always touch me!
During the winter when when there is a frosty but dry morning, I sit in my back garden listening to dark folk music with headphones for about 20 to 30 mins in just a t-shirt and shorts and it just makes me feel in touch with myself and the Earth. I just love it. Oh and I'd defo recommend listening to some songs by Aurora. She is incredible.
Been addicted to this song since watching the show Vikings years ago... Wardruna is great... When one day I die in battle, this song will be in my head
The beauty in this song. For me, at least. Is the acceptance of an impending death. Finding the peace in it. "I know my life is coming to an end. I am not scared. I am at peace with this path." The last part. About cattle and kinsman dying. That is from The Havamal. Words of wisdom from the All-father, Odin. Wardruna is a truly amazing band. They did work on Assassin's Creed Valhalla. The raid music is one of the more noticeable parts you can really hear Einar's vocals in. They have so many beautiful songs. This being one of my favorites. "Solringen" and "Lyfjaberg" being others. If you seek more music like this. Skald and Danheim are two of my go to bands that you haven't delved into yet.
Aurora is the northwind in Disney's Frozen 2. I discovered her in Covid times and her music, her whole cheerful, honest personality is just psychologically healing. Next to Floor Jansen, she is the only down-to-earth person in that business I know. She has been making music since she was 6 years old. That's when she played the piano for the first time. The lyrics came at 9. She writes her own songs. Important songs. She composes, produces, writes and sings. She is what one called a genius. Highly intelligent. She never wanted to be an artist, just write songs. She was discovered because a classmate posted a video of her without her knowledge. A record company approached her and her answer was no. Her mother then convinced her that she should do it. You don't keep music to yourself if you can help others with it. That convinced her.
@@FrancoUnAmericano The logic of your statement does not open up to me. I don't have to have studied artists to hear their music. These two just interest me on a deeper level and the rest either don't interest me at all or they just aren't the way I described these two. Doesn't mean that I don't listen to other music. Your statement is just stupid.
Longtime Wardruna fan here. Einar is an incredibly talented musician and storyteller, and has such a powerful voice to match. Aurora was such a great match for his music - her voice works so well paired with his.
Love this collaboration.. Aurora is a very talented singer with tons of great songs, but you also should check out more of Wardruna, I absolutely love their song (and the official video) to "Raido".
YESSSS! I adore Wardruna. The obly band where I really can get my head completely free. I really enjoy them in absolute solitude. They have an outstanding magic in their music. My recommendation for you would be their songs Raido (the build up is out of this world) and Kvitravn, a song that means pretty much for me personaly. Highly enjoyable. Thank you for that reaction Aileen!
A praise to the ones we've lost. In battle. (Or maybe even, working the fields?) To keep our culture. To fight the christians. Eivoer has sung it with him, too! (I just watched her in concert, 2 days ago.) Greetings from the far north of Germany!
I’ve been into Wardruna for about a year now. You’re right about it being almost meditation and centering. It’s helped me deal with some PTSD, and anxiety. Lifjaburg, Rotlaust Tre Fell, and Skugge are amazing. Another artist in the Norse Folk that is awesome is Gealdyr
Bin a fan of Eivør over 20 years and seein her so many times live she is allways awsome live 👌. Started to watch that show The Last Kingdom just because of her and i love it totally got hooked 👌😊
The studio album that this song came from is BEAUTIFUL!!!!! I had to get a copy on vinyl for my collection. You can hear some of their music on the TV show Vikings, including this song.
For me by far the best Live Version of this Wardruna Song! I've seen Aurora & also Wardruna Live several Times... unfortunately I wasn't there at this Concert. I'm always amazed at how clear and strong Einar's & Aurora's singing comes across Live! Beautiful Reaction, by the Way 🤗 Many greets from Germany
I got goosebumps all over. What a power this old funeral song still has. In a way, the old germanic people who sang this still live on in the power of their song. This is not just a song, its our heritage.
Seeing Wardruna and Aurora at two different festivals (Tons of Rock in Oslo and Pstereo in Trondheim respectively) this summer, the hype is real :D My mum has two criterias for her funeral when she eventually passes away: She is to be cremated, and we are to play this song as her casket is to be transported to the inevitable. My mum's pretty metal \m/
It's really moving to watch your reaction to the music. You clearly feel it deeply. I've heard this song many times, but watching you watch it makes it feel like the first time.
Yay! You followed one of my suggestions! I loved your reaction and that you were experiencing it the same way it affected me. No matter how many times I watch it, I still have to do a small wipe of the eyes, LOL. They have a few songs that move me the same way. I sincerely hope that you will make your way to them too! Keep reacting!!
Aurora is not just a singer she is magic. Her voice takes you to a different place, This song is old Norse viking all the instuments are are from the viking era. Aurora is dressed as the white Raven, Ravens were white until they flew through the black souls of man.
Aurora (the voice of the North Wind in Frozen II) became one of my favorite singers when I first heard her back in 2015 she is just so incredibly unique, you will love her work it's worth a dive into, you will not be disappointed
I just saw Wardruna live a few nights ago. Let me tell you... that show was beyond captivating. It was so easily to get lost in the tales they tell with their music. Regardless of knowing the language. it was beautiful.
Love wardruna another great song of theirs is Healing Mountain, and Aurora is simply fantastic she did a special concert in Notradame thats worth listening to even if it's just for your own sake and not for a video.
I now love Wardruna and the main singer of this band, Einar Selvik, for years. Their songs are always spiritual experiences. He is also great solo. He is a real skald (Norse bard) and said in an interview that he always trys to find the eternal meaning in the songs instead of just trying to repeat what is now the past. I would recommend "Lyfjaberg" and "Völuspa" by Wardruna.
I saw Wardruna live two weeks ago... one of the best concerts I've ever been to, and they closed out with Helvegen, although Einar did come back out to do a solo encore.
Saw them live in Belgium recently & they are absolutely amazing live. Einar is the only male singer I have ever heard who gives me goosebumps when he sings. You really have to listen to Voluspá: just Einar & his talharpa(?)
I just found you channel, Very nice, very nice indeed! I am an older rocker; I just loved your reaction on Queensryche. And i see you do a lot of metal, I love that, but you have done a couple progressive, ( Tool, and Queensryche) If I may make a suggestion.....Dream Theater - Illumination Theory ( Live From The Boston Opera House ) - with lyrics. Feel free to do any Dream Theater song you like (Pull me Under is the one that made them) But this live one is just great, it has an Orchestra, Small venue, and it shows their talent. Please enjoy and keep up the Great work!!
the male vocalist is former metal drummist Einar Selvik, and if you wanna check out more of him you should definitively look up and react to a live performance from 2015 called "Vikings suite" he did with composer Trevor Morris, cellist Tina Guo and a polish Orchestra/choir
I got to see this live in October. Aurora wasn't there but holy shit the entire show was amazing. They came to the Majestic Theater in Dallas and I couldn't pass it up. Had my tickets for 3 years, kept getting called of because covid. Got a bad ass hoodie after the show as well. If you ever get the chance to see Wardruna take it, it's like a healing experience.
Hel is like a "basic" afterlife for everyone who did not die in a special way. Oden and Freya could handpick fallen heroes (and the occasional other great dead NOT fallen in battle) to their own respective places (Valhalla and Fólkvangr -although the surviving myths do not tell us much about Freyas hall/realm Fólkvangr, mostly focusing on Odins Valhalla). Ran, the wife of the "sea god" (for lack of a proper term) takes anyone who drowns -and uses her net to help the process along for those who she especially wants serving her in her and her husbands hall beneath the sea. Hel is the hall and realm of the goddess Hel. There was probably many other god´s hall´s and places where dead could end up, but we do not have those myths preserved. Hel is not a horrible place, like the christian hell, but its not the best place either. cold and bleak. some myths mentions people continuing their "life" as when they lived, farming and so on. Some isolated parts of Hel are described as special places of punishment for oathbreakers and so on, but this may be later embellishments by the early Christians who eventually wrote down the old myths of their ancestors. The Christians appropriated the pagan germanic name of the realm of the dead and reused it as the english "Hell" -but changed the nature of the place ("those stupid old pagans all go to the horrible hell, while OUR dead go to the much better realm called heaven")
Wardruna's song Lyfjaberg is one of my favorites. If you are interested in other collaborations I would highly recommend one from Wardruna's lead singer Einar Selvik and Ivar Bjørnson called "Um Heilage Fjell"
For me Wardruna,Aurora and Dimmu Borgir is the best there is from Norway. So please do more from Wardruna, Raido and Kviteravn are good songs . Aurora you should see here live performance from Nidarosdomen it's magical.. And you should see Dimmu Borgir live at Forces of the Northern Nigths. Gateways and progenies of the great apocalypse from the Oslo show, and the Mourning Palace from the Wacken show.

Watched Wardruna live tonight in Vancouver. Utterly astounding. They stressed the importance of Helvegen as song for the dead. Powerful stuff.
I saw this gig (in bergen), and one in the UK. They were the best gigs I have been to. Unreal.
Oh boy, didn't realize you never listened to Aurora before. I foresee some tears on the channel in the future :D
I guess you are ready now for the AURORA Rabbit Hole. She is by far my most heard singer. Saw her live last month. It was unbelievable
I saw her in Boston early this June!😍
Aurora is gem. Einar Selvik (the male singer) was Drummer in the black metal band Gorgoroth some years ago!

Murder song (live at the 2015 nobel peace prize concert: ua-cam.com/video/vh0SWTVwXxw/v-deo.html

It's beautiful to see true Norwegian Black Metal dude Kvitravn of Gorgoroth and the fairy-like Aurora making beautiful music together.
Kvitravn (Einar Selvik) also made music for Assassin's Creed Valhalla so if you like to listen to the Vikings sing in the boat you've heard him before 😊👍
Edit: Black Metal
And now Aurora made "Hunting shadows" for the Assasins creed aniversary... 😊
Black Metal ...
Hi bro Can you tell me what language she sings in?
@@MantoraGig They sing in Norwegian but the poem at the end is in Old Norse.
Can't wait Aileen! Powerful song and I adore Aurora 🤘
This song with Aurora is pure MAGIC ... she is ethereal ....
This song was played at my mother in law's funeral, so not only is it moving in its own right but it also holds a very special place in my heart; bittersweet, it brings happy memories of her but it also brings back that sadness.
Such a powerful piece of music
I just sang this sing at a celebration of life for a dear friend. I was holding back my own tears.
The biggest of all "Thanks" to you. Sweden is grateful for your reaction :)
This music is TOTAL. How is this music so great and so universal to all people and how is it ancient and brand new? All I know for sure is that we all should have more of this in our lives.
Please do Aurora (murder song 54321) from the Nobel peace conference
A must
OMG love this version, so beautiful
Your reaction literally moved me. I highly recommend anything and everything by Wardruna, and also from Aurora, but specifically 'runaway' which she wrote when she was 11 and was 19 in the video.
A very good reaction 😌🙏 I do get ravenbumps every single time I listen to this ...
Same here...with Heilung's "Anoana" running neck-n'-neck.
@@sanjuro66 hell yeah! Anoana is absolutely beautiful.
Yes, there is a Goddess we all know. She is real and She is here, in front of us,we are the lucky ones. 🖤🖤👑🖤🖤
I am at peace with this path."
The last part.
I love Aurora, I love Wardruna and I love Einar Selvik. He did a lot of music for Vikings.. his voice his amazing
This Video was filmed in the Townhall of Wuppertal/Germany.....unforgettable Concert!
You realy have to broaden your music horizons if Floor is the only down to earth musician you know.
I get to see Wardruna live on Nov 5th of this year and cannot wait.. i have had tickets for 2 years as covid postponed the concert.
Wardruna. That is something special. Lyfjaberge, Raido, Gra - so much more. Worth checking them all. Can't go wrong with those.
A praise to the ones we've lost. In battle. (Or maybe even, working the fields?)
To keep our culture. To fight the christians.
Eivoer has sung it with him, too!
(I just watched her in concert, 2 days ago.)
Greetings from the far north of Germany!
Aurora is a literal fairy. We must protect her at all costs!
Listening to this band is like taking a journey back thousands of years to a long lost world of mystical pagan beauty. Simply sublime.
One of my most favorite songs of all time. Glad to see you listening to it, I don't see a lot of reactions to this one.
Yes! Gealdýr is just amazing. I'm hooked on his new song Baldrs Draumar. You too?
“Cattle die,
Kinsmen die,
We too must also die.
But I know one thing that never dies:
A man’s reputation.”
-old Norse proverb from the Havamal
You should really check out Trollabundin by Eivor Palsdottir. She did the theme song for The Last Kingdom, which is a fantastic show
Bin a fan of Eivør over 20 years and seein her so many times live she is allways awsome live 👌. Started to watch that show The Last Kingdom just because of her and i love it totally got hooked 👌😊
The studio album that this song came from is BEAUTIFUL!!!!! I had to get a copy on vinyl for my collection. You can hear some of their music on the TV show Vikings, including this song.
love listening to Wardruna....so therapeutic to my soul
I'm seeing wardruna in a week and this song makes me cry every time. It speaks so deeply to my soul.
For me by far the best Live Version of this Wardruna Song! I've seen Aurora & also Wardruna Live several Times... unfortunately I wasn't there at this Concert. I'm always amazed at how clear and strong Einar's & Aurora's singing comes across Live!
Beautiful Reaction, by the Way 🤗
Many greets from Germany
I got goosebumps all over. What a power this old funeral song still has. In a way, the old germanic people who sang this still live on in the power of their song. This is not just a song, its our heritage.
Seeing Wardruna and Aurora at two different festivals (Tons of Rock in Oslo and Pstereo in Trondheim respectively) this summer, the hype is real :D
My mum has two criterias for her funeral when she eventually passes away: She is to be cremated, and we are to play this song as her casket is to be transported to the inevitable.
Thank you for checking out these guys.
Nice reaction.
I absolutely adore their music.
I cry every single time I hear this. It will absolutely be played at my funeral, if I have anything to say about it
That trumped is magnificent hail Odin and Thor and all the gods
Aurora (the voice of the North Wind in Frozen II) became one of my favorite singers when I first heard her back in 2015 she is just so incredibly unique, you will love her work it's worth a dive into, you will not be disappointed
I just saw Wardruna live a few nights ago. Let me tell you... that show was beyond captivating. It was so easily to get lost in the tales they tell with their music. Regardless of knowing the language. it was beautiful.
Lead singer was the drummer for the Black Metal band Gorgoroth
Your reaction all the way through deeply felt.
Proud swedish ,proud to my vikings from sweden and our gods 🇸🇪🇸🇪
I saw them in concert in Denver. I WILL be going back.
I saw Wardruna live two weeks ago... one of the best concerts I've ever been to, and they closed out with Helvegen, although Einar did come back out to do a solo encore.
I saw Wadruna letley live, absolut amazing performance and Helvegen Live was something special and powerfull
As far as Wardruna, I would suggest a song called "Lyfjaberg". On the Aurora side, a VERY powerful song called "The Seed", also maybe "The River".
All your emotions so soulfully radiats like a star, divine....
Saw them live in Belgium recently & they are absolutely amazing live.
Einar is the only male singer I have ever heard who gives me goosebumps when he sings.
You really have to listen to Voluspá: just Einar & his talharpa(?)
Skugge is also very good!
Love your reaction ! On point.. good words good explanations and a good understanding of the song and the norse world..
I saw this group recently in Boston, great show.
Wardruna also does some collabs with Eivør Pálsdóttir, who you should ALSO check out. Her music is also incredible!
She is allways awsome bin a fan of Eivør over 20 years and seein her so many times live and she is allways good live 👌👌
This is one of my favourite concert memories of all times. Experiencing Wardruna at the old fortress in Bergen was, simply put, magical.
Thank you for doing this! Many does reactions to Aurora, but few do of Wardruna, and I hope you do more of them! I would recommend "Kvitravn".
the male vocalist is former metal drummist Einar Selvik, and if you wanna check out more of him you should definitively look up and react to a live performance from 2015 called "Vikings suite" he did with composer Trevor Morris, cellist Tina Guo and a polish Orchestra/choir
! I luv 🖤 you Aileen 🤘!!
Still watching your videos
Hey Aileen, check out Wardruna - "Kvitravn" (White Raven) or another group called SKÁLD - "Rún"
Wardruna's song Lyfjaberg is one of my favorites. If you are interested in other collaborations I would highly recommend one from Wardruna's lead singer Einar Selvik and Ivar Bjørnson called "Um Heilage Fjell"
Feeling of the memories you didn´t live through and thoughts you never thought of before...without a subtitles it hits even harder
You need to experience more of Aurora; Winter Bird, and the list goes on. Check out her live performances and live covers.
