I think the best way now is to remote connect to a PC via the Xbox app, then using a good mic and headphone setup to talk and listen through the streamed Xbox gameplay on the computer. It strangely works with xbox party chat, discord chat, and game chat. Any mic, any pair of headphones, and no noticeable delay in the game audio.
If ur using obs just plug in ur mic an a wierless headphones to ur pc like normal, then just connect ur console with a capture card. In obs set up a mic desktop audio source an the capture card audio source.... then in obs just turn on monitor an output .... should have sound in ur headphones without the headace of all the wires :)
I have a video for that, too 😃 and yes your right but in the same senes how do you get that mic sound back into the xbox for game chat without running a cable to the controller. Usb mic on xbox is not plug and play unfortunately.

Depends on the style mic any condenser mic is more likely to do that versus a xrl mic. Best thing is to put the mic on a boom are and bring it close to you and turn the ga8n down that will help

Probably not. If you have a Condensor mic it will pick up everything that's how they ate made. Try cutting the volume down and see if you can cut of mic monitoring that will take that away completely.
I'll have to retest this. There are a few ways some w9rk with wirless headset others don't if I remember correctly this method will not work woth a wirless

@@blazasfr yeah, same with game chat idk why it doesn't record that either, quality is still yet to be HDR like the PS5 and we should be able to stream on multiple platforms, while using features that shouldn't be required using an external PC. The Xbox is an amazing console, Microsoft just focuses on the game pass or a pointless UI update every so often.
Not this method it has to be the xbox controller for the tb to hook up bit I am dropping and new method Sunday where you can use 3rd party controllers like powera Razer ect to hook a USB mic up to it I figured it out stay tuned

theres no mic input to the xbox with this method, so no game chat. And game chat is kinda crucial to me

When using the spliter do you have to use the headphone side or wil it still work if you only use the microphone side
