    • @sashabenoit1518
      @sashabenoit1518 Рік тому +8

      The staph infection she 100% has him dead to rights on because the vet determined it and put it in writing that the infection was directly caused by the wound made from his dog. That's why Judge Milian asked if the plaintiff had the vet paperwork that specifically stated that on it, to prove that part of her case.
      The ONLY way the defendant could have got out of that is if he could somehow PROVE she was negligent in caring for the wound with evidence AND have his own veterinarian expert witness to contest her vet's statement... And even then, it would still be up to Judge Milian to decide who to believe from there.

    • @oldageisdumb
      @oldageisdumb Рік тому

      @@sashabenoit1518 Actually, I don’t remember that at all. She said the dog developed a staph infection and the judge asked if she had proof in the vet records that the dog had a staph infection. I don’t remember it being said that the vet said the staph infection was directly from the other dog/injury, only that their was one. Do you have a time stamp where the plaintiff said the vet confirmed it was from the other dog? Many staph infections are either picked up from the vet office or from the wound becoming dirty during the healing process. Edit: I just went back and listened and she didn’t say it was specifically from the other dog, only that there was an infection. I also made a mistake and said staph when it was strep.

    The fact that she’s trying to sue for a broken foot makes me believe the defendant more. That his dog didn’t actually Bite with two puncture marks, that the animals did collide and somehow, whether that’s by wrestling and a nail scraped her dog or what, that it was an accident. She clearly doesn’t watch her dog in the park or at home that a speaker falls on him while he’s, healing and Sick.

The owner of the aggressive dog is at fault , for taking an aggressive dog animals to a public, dog park. I live next to a dog 🐶 park.. never seen a dog on. A leash. Even before my dog and his behaviors and my attack, there’s no way on earth I’d ever take my dog to a dog park. It’s a high stress, high anxiety, high excitement atmosphere and even if you know YOUR dog and his behaviors, you don’t know the 20 other dogs and their history. You're wrong. Since 2005 after he socializes a dog Cesar Millian takes clients with their dog to the dog parks. He advises them that the first time you take them see how many dogs are in there and if they all have a calm energy then you can bring your dog in. If the energy is too hyper and you see scuffles going on then stay out. In those cases you can keep your dog outside the park and walk it around the perimeter. The dogs in the park are very curious about the new dog outside the fence and will come to it. Now walk your dog to meet them and correct your dog (leash pull) if he charges at the fence. Keep doing that until your dog doesn't charge. He learns to walk slowly to the fence, head low (submission) to meet and sniff his new friends at the fence. Eventually the day will come for you to bring the dog in. Use common sense.

If anything, she tried to extort him, by demanding a huge & changing amount of money...and I suppose calling the "dog warden" in the first place.

    I'm glad the plaintiff got the judgement for the bite but not for the broken toe which was her fault. It's hard to know exactly what happened but two dogs that are socialized properly will not use their mouth. It's possible the Shep is dominant and tried to side mount the Visla. They both need lessons online about dog park tips, socializing, etc.

    As the judge as has previously noted...people are not dogs. Dogs are dogs and do dog behavior. This dog's behavior was a snap to tell the little dog to f*ck off. I believe him. If a German Shepherd attacked, that woman's dog would be mincemeat.
